I am also a medical doctor.
I finished from U.I

Check admission list of UNN for 2024 you will not see a single yoruba man there. Now Check the admissions list of U.I,Convenant,OAU and Unilag and count the numbers of Igbo there.

You are a Dr?
Okay...?
I will just try to believe you for a microsecond

So if the best Universities are in the S.West why would the Yorubas have to go look for what 'didn't lost?'

By your logic, if Nigerians are flocking to Ghana to study and no Ghanians are coming here, means we are superior?

You can do better.

It's better for we yorubas to face the reality.

Check my previous comments on this forum, you ate not pro-yoruba than me!

I don't really care about your previous comments.

I am a Dr, so I should know a bit more about this.

Quota for admitted medical students per University is usually about 150.

Anybody admitting multiples of that is doing mago-mago and the students suffer it in the end.
The school will sometimes lose it's accreditation or the students are forced out or delayed.

The other day I comment on Facebook as yoruba man that we yorubas have lost the top position when it comes to education my brothers almost tear me into pieces calling me bastards. Let the truth be told,we yorubas are no longer the most educated Nigerians.
IGBOs are!

Meanwhile,PETER OBI WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT!

Be reasonable...

Igbinedion University used to admit up to 1000 medical students some years back.

Does that mean they have better indices than UI who admit only 1/5th of that?

There are standards to this things.

If they like, they should admit 10,000
...how many people graduated in the end?

Stop whipping up silly sentiments please.

Another 8years time we go back to square one again when economic sabotage ethnic people return. If you know what I mean, you are smart if you don't goodluck.
Let me make it clear now, whatever economic advance Tinubu makes now will be undone in 8years time. Backwards economy is what some group of people make money from. So something must be done, so that our people don't get affected when when certain people return.

I gerrit!

I also fear Tinubu is working in vain.

all valid great points. Would you say these denigrating points you share about the Uk is prevalent opinions amongst the Nigerian community ? Meaning there must be lots of japa regrets. Imagine selling a huge house in naija to japa to a tiny London house. Surely there must be mass regrets and unsatistaction in the naija community over there right ?

Not really.

Depends on what people want from life.
Some are very happy because they just want to buy a house and drive fine car.

I want to be the best I can be.
Think of Maslow's heirachy of needs.

So if all you want is just be comfortable, the UK should be okay.

Ahhhh ok. Why Leave uk for Canada ? America or Australia surely is a better upgrade right ? What is it about the uk that has you tired and want to japa from ? Itโ€™s millions that are dying to be in your shoes right now

It is a bubble.

Weather is horrible, houses are small.
Mindset of the citizenry is small.
It is a has-been Nation.
I think there is more to life than 'just being comfortable'

I can earn more in Canada doing the same job.
...and one thing I know about Canada is the houses are not tiny.
๐Ÿคฃ

Australia is good.
Weather is fantastic.
Just far from Naija (and the rest of the world).

America would have been the best...
God's own Country.
But I will have to start writing exams again and all.

In the end I want to contribute my quota to Naija sha.
God has already blessed me small.

I am actually tired of abroad.

I miss Naija everyday.

Money is not everything.

I just want to get some more skills and maybe come back.

I am not a hater, just a proper music lover.

She is rich, hire song writers, get a team to put her on the map. I no understand the gal wahala.

She should just cook beats as a DJ and put some musicians on the song.

She obviously has not talent.

Go and ask those Buhari Media Cows (BMC) how far with their lives. After defending Buhari for 8 years, many of them are now kidnappers, many of them are everywhere on internet begging for food and money, some have relocated to Republic of Niger, Chad etc .
It is better you learn from their calamities now before you end up like them after 8 years of Chickenubu
