Bestmanfornow: Forbes is not a tool to measure wealth and market screener is? 🤣 Would you have said this if it said Arthur Eze was worth more than Dangote or Adenuga? So you know, Dangote's refinery is worth more than all those companies put together. Just one company. Stop acting like a bushman! |

Bestmanfornow: Go and fight Forbes oga! I don't care for Azudialor. Taylor Swift does not own a dredger or deal in Oil and Gas, yet she is worth Billions-- real Billions, not your fake type. So stop displaying your inferiority complex here! There is more to money than buying and selling. You don't see other tribes or nationals of other countries jumping around seeking one false validation. If e didn't dey, e didn't dey! 1 Like |

MXrep: The same Lagos that Yorubas exported slaves from for hundreds of years is what they migrated to in 1931? Or the same coastal city from which they imported weapons for the Yoruba wars? 🤣 Also you compare Lagos to Calabar or Onitsha? 🤣 You should start comedy! You realise Lagos alone, was made a Colony. For Britain to think it worthy of being a stand alone entity shows it was not a jungle like you so desperately claim. This is Olaiya house, built in 1855. There were also many buildings like this in that Lagos. Mind you the British came after. ...and they only took Lagos after a Naval bombardment with Warships. You only use that much firepower when your enemy is worthy.

caracas: There you go again... 🤣 Your region was not ahead in anything. How many secondary schools were in Igboland to start with? Not to talk of Higher Institutions. You lot keep concocting lies to suit your narrative. If you were ahead, you won't keep fleeing your backward region. Awolowo gave free education to catch up with who? 🤣 I am sure he started WNTV and built Cocoa House to catch up with Igbos too. Clown! ...and so you know, nobody fears Igbos. Not in Nigeria, not anywhere in the World. Deluded lot! |

Zool6: Showing what superiority? 🤣 You compare a people that organized themselves into a Kingdom that ran through several countries to yours-- that lived like cavemen until the British came? 🤣 So let's measure dicks a little bit. First Nigerian Dr-- William Davies 1858 First Nigerian Lawyer-- Sapara Williams 1879 First Nigerian Engineer- Hebert Macaulay 1893 First Nigerian Chatered Accountant-- Akintola Williams 1949 First Architect-- Michael Onafowokan 1952 First Nigerian Female Dr-- Agnes Savage 1929 First Chief Nursing Officer-- Abeni Pratt I am sure you know Ajayi Crowther since you mentioned him already. I can give you many more names if you wish? 🤣 About Olaudah Equiano, not sure what you have to brag about it. He was captured, he was taught to read and write... and he had an exciting life. I would belive there were quite a few more like him, who ended up the same way. Besides he never came back? He was an outlier and not the norm The only reason you know about him is because he wrote a memoir. There must havr been others who didn't write, so...? How can you then claim he was the first person of Nigerian extraction to be educated? You realise the Hausa-Fulani have been reading and writing in Arabic for centuries before this? If you want to pick and choose, to brag about professors. You can quickly go through this list. Also Iyalodes and Iyalojas have been activists for centuries even befor Mama Fela. It has never been new to us.

SpatialKing: That's bullshit! 🤣 You provide your fake data. I went to medical school in South West Nigeria. My Siblings and some in-laws too. All in different Universities. I can count how many Igbos we had. So your concocted narrative holds no water. It is just plain hogwash. Some years back Igbinedion was admitting up to 1000 students into Medicine. Imagine Edo state now bragging about it? Just amusing! 🤣 No wonder your medical schools are poor. Quantity, but no quality. |
Education / Re: 2022 Medical Students Intake By Geopolitical Zone by HBB1(m): 7:44pm On Mar 27 |
SpatialKing: That is a lie? What spread are you talking about? I can count on my fingers and toes, how many classmates where Igbo. ...Out of a class of above 250. Same with my sister who schooled and did her Residency in 2 different Teaching Hospitals. I have 4 other siblings too including my Parents and they had no such spread. I also served in the North and was in a few Teaching Hospitals there. Igbos did not populate anywhere. I have friends that trained in the North and they were mostly Yoruba Muslims. Stop lying oga. You twist any narrative to buttress your delusions of grandeur. It is very evident your schools admit above the required quota. No be today. |
Education / Re: 2022 Medical Students Intake By Geopolitical Zone by HBB1(m): 6:36pm On Mar 27 |
SpatialKing: Oga, no Yoruba is willing to go to the East for University. I personally only know one Yoruba Dr that finished from UNN... and I know lots lf Drs. Yorubas, however, particularly the Muslims are willing to go up North. I repeat, asides UNN, there are no other reputable Universities in the East, so why will any sane person leave an OAU or UI or Covenant or ABUAD for there? Don't you get it? They would rather go to ABU or UNIMAID or UDUS Also, so you know, medical education in the East is generally inferior to the South West. I know people who have complained of not being able to do basic tests when they trained there. Even the Teaching Hospitals dod not have CT Scans... ( I am not willing to give you screenshots from a private group I belong to, to prove this). So what are they teaching. Besides, how can Imo state with few medical (and deficient) medical schools admit more medical students than states with more and better established medical schools. The joke is on you! This paper published a few years back was talking about your people. 🤣 Keep deceiving yourselves.

caracas: Number of Professors does not reflect education? Are you a joke? 🤣 Ok, will ranking of Universities reflect how well a region is doing? So you know, there was no time, I repeat no time, the Igbos did better than the Yorubas in Education. As at the 1800s the Yorubas already had Dr, Lawyers... Ajayi Crowther even had to translate books for your kin. Stop capping oga |
Education / Re: 2022 Medical Students Intake By Geopolitical Zone by HBB1(m): 5:55pm On Mar 27 |
caracas: How can Igbos be the highest? Tell me you have never left your region, without telling me you have never left. Your delusions of grandeur are amusing! 🤣 |
Education / Re: 2022 Medical Students Intake By Geopolitical Zone by HBB1(m): 5:42pm On Mar 27 |
wiseoneking: Stop digging up imagined stats from your lala land. The reason Igbos 'dominate' your region is because nobody wants to come there. Simple. Also, it seems nobody can win with you guys. If they do not allow you somewhere else based on merit, you scream nepotism. When they allow you, you brag about how you are going to dominate others. What a mindset! So Federal and Private Universities in the South West are now to blame for allowing people deserving of admission to get it? Won't you start bleating again if they don't? Also, it is a big lie that your kin make up 30% of the admission in the Univerisities you mentioned. I schooled in one of them, so you know. ...and in no time are you dominating shit! 1 Like |

wiseoneking: Give me one reason why a South-Westerner would want to go to the East to school? Just one! Asides UNN, is there any other proper Uni? So what are you bragging about? Besides, your kin fighting tooth-and-nail to come school in the West are not fleeing any dumb competition... They know where the best schools are. Stop chatting shit! 1 Like 1 Share |
