Sipho Christian a South African has come on instagram to express how hurt she was after her sister was killed by the boyfriend. According to her, her little sister, Smangele was admitted to hospital a few days ago because her boyfriend Nkosana siphon Prince poured paraffin on her and set her on fire.

Today at 2am Smangele pearl Mahlangu died in hospital after suffering huge amount of agony.

Islamic New Year: Kano state declares Tuesday sept, 11 public holiday.
Ahead of the Islamic New Year the Kano state government has declared Tuesday sept.11 as a public holiday to mark the new Islamic year 1440 after hijra.

This was issued in a statement signed by the state commissioner for information Malam Muhammad Garba.
According to the statement, Abdullahi Ganduje the governor of Kano state was congratulating the Muslim faithful for witnessing the Muslim New Year which commences in the first month in the lunar Islamic calendar.

In the statement he assures his people that the government is determined to work hard towards improving their lives. He urged Muslims to use this period to reflect on their activities and deeds and as well pray for the peace and prosperity of the country.

Three local government chairmen in Zamfara state has been reported dead in an auto crash in Saudi Arabia, Said the Hajj commissioner. All the local government chairmen belong to the All progressive congress APC .

Malam Yakubu-yahaya  Talata- Mafara who is the public relation officer of the commissioner told the news agency that the accident occurred around 3:00am on Friday , while they were travelling from Makah to Medina, Saudi Arabia.

Yakub- yahaya noted that six local government chairmen of the APC from the state were involved in the accident. And that the other three are now receiving treatment at Saudi Arabia Hospital.

The remains of the three deceased chairmen will be processed for burial by the Saudi Arabia authorities. The zamfara hajji officials are making necessary documentation to join the Saudi Arabia authorities to give the deceased befitting burial, Talata-Mafara

Reacting, the state APC Chairman, Alhaji Lawal M-Liman, described the death as a great loss to the state and Nigeria as a whole.  M-Liman described the deceased as loyal members of the party who had been in good relationship with their communities
