Do note I'm an avid traveller that's been to Tanzania, UK, Kenya, Mauritius, South Africa, UAE all on vacation.

What went wrong? Is it the Italian denial? Could he have made a decision on that even after travelling to other places after the denial?

I intend to reapply at a later time but someone please point out what wasn't done properly.

After the interview and a thorough review of the application, you were unable to present credible evidence of sufficient socioeconomic ties to Nigeria that would compel you to return to Nigeria after a short stay in the United States. The interviewing officer determined that you did not overcome the statutory presumption of intending immigration and was therefore refused under section 214(b) of the Immigration and Nationality act.

So dis is my little advice; just go with them and if you are not that buoyant to pay for the visa fees, that might cause you a pause because they have your previous DS-160.........

1) I guess been nervous earned you that.
2) You are married and u av a kid and you are going for a vacation? Am sorry to say this I thought vacation was meant for family, that is if u are married.....while single you can also claim the vac, but it's not right leaving the rest of your family at home and you are applying except they have the B1/B2 before you went.
3) Have you travelled before? Just give a yes or no and let her do the asking where and when if she wants to know.
You played right into her hands when you gave a list of country you've been.

Well! If you wanna reapply I advise you go with your whole family since you are married and you have a kid.

Hello house, a friend was denied last year base on reasons known to him because the agent made some entry without his knowledge But now he is ready re apply. The challenges now are.
1. How to retrieve his previous information using his application number because the agent did not telll him detail about it
2. How to change the email address because the agent was in charge of all correspondence hence denying him access to info.

Good afternoon house, my family and I applied for B1/B2 and our interview has been scheduled to august but am worried because my hubby have appeared in different occasioned, he appeared twice in 2014 with interval of four mouth in lagos and we appeared as a family(with my a year old son then) again December 2015 in abuja, my hubby was invited for new orleans jazz festival and he appeared twice with interval of a week plus because the invitations was still valid (1st interview was abuja while the second interview was lagos). My hubby was nervous for his two appearance but the family appearance was my fault because the agent package me that am working with one company and when d VO asked me about where I was working I mistakenly mentioned my hubby place of work but we don't really known why my hubby was denied for the new orleans jazz festival. But now my hubby status still remain same but mine has changed because am a business woman( fabric store) also me and my hubby have a farm(poultry n fisheries) that we runs together now but we didn't included it on our DS160 our plan is to tell them on the day of our interview. we applied to go on vacation as a family to new York and we have made a reservation for an hotel where we will be staying for 10days. Pls I want to know our chance on that day plus we have not summited our form for now. Pls I need all of you advice. Thank you

You stand a chance of getting the visa this time but, You have to be very careful this time because your past information must tally with the present, to compare....but its good for you since you are now a business woman and you guys are into fabric store and poultry business, try to lay more emphasis on that business let the consular believe your job is so important to the extent of if you exceed that 10days you might suffer for it.

But the consular would have to really look into your DS-160 because he or she wants to know much about your past job and she might not even ask, vis a vis......

But please you don't need to be nervous.
Tell them more ties you have in Nigeria for you to come back ASAP.

You might be spending just 5-7mins but that time can make you happy or happy otherwise. So no fidgeting, stay calm, smile, and if u can't do that keep kissing your baby.

You will get it because it is your time to shine.

NOTE: don't waste your time and cash consulting an agent because during my time and my mom I personally filled the form, mom for it but I didn't because we went separately.

Depending on what you are going to the states for.
If you are going on vacation its a good shoot because you will be given with authentic documents from your school and ID card.

But if you plan on schooling there ....well! I will advise you finish here o, but u can apply for the visa and once you are been given. Just go for vacation after that vacation tour own don better.

Speaking about ties, I was at the US Consulate in February, the consular asked me 5 qsts which I know I answered perfectly well.

2. What's the relationship with d person am going to see?
Ans : Brother

And: Yes, South Africa, France, UAE
4. Am I married?
And: Yes
5. Do I have kids?
And: No

I was surprised after this he told me he was sorry he couldn't grant me a visa to his country and I asked him why would he do such a thing he said I wasnt able to demonstrate a tie with my country.
