Is it just me or it's same with other guys, the embarrassment I feel is as if I'm the one doing something embarrassing, and I can't help the feeling, because of that I shy away from buying foodstuff or other stuff that will make me bargain.

Bargaining is part of education. I guess you never come across the term consumer behavior . Have you ever buy an item at a very expensive price due to your failure to price only to get home and start getting angry with some feeling of regret ?
