How can I find any "meaningful fault" in an idle administration whose 2nd tenure focuses more on "War against PDP"?

You've got a problem?
There's no leader who is perfect. Do you even know why you are sentimental? It's because YOU have nt found any fault with him lately except the months old slip of the tongue. However, he also exhibited leadership quality when after the incident he realised his mistake, accepted it and apologised. If not for that, Adams Oshiomole has a good heart. Why nt stay on topic, by the way?

Honestly, these APC leaders baffle me with their unrestrained vituperations. In reality, that guy is calling millions of Nigerians hawks. How can a sane person vote for a man without self control who is abusive and calls humans hawks because of politics, even if he has a good notion? How does he qualify to be a leader then? Until I see an APC candidate who behaves maturedly and has very good conduct and leadership qualities(Adams Oshiomole would have suffice but ain't interested), my vote is still for GEJ.

Some people from the Niger-Delta see your comments on President Jonathan as critical. If eventually you get the APC’s ticket, how are you going to sell your candidature in that part of the country?
Some of you may be members of the press but you lack the real knowledge of South-South and other places. I don’t think there are no problems in the South-South. I don’t think it is only in the North that you have security problem.
They are many people from the South – that is, South-East, South-West and South-South – that are living in Kano, and they call Kano their home. Just recently, I met somebody at the airport. I asked him where he was going and he said he was going home. He is an Igbo man. I was surprised when I later met him inside the aircraft en route Kano and I asked him again, and he said he was going home to Kano. I said that was what I wanted to hear from him. I was so happy that he was calling Kano his home.
We have stories of many of them living here in Kano. They go to Abuja for business. They go to the East for business and they come back here, because in spite of our security challenges, here is, still, safer. The wouldn’t want to stay in places where they would be kidnapped or stolen.
Some would come and rob you or shoot you in your house. People think poverty is only here in the North, but the poor man here is as good as the poor man in Bayelsa State.
Despite the fact that the businessmen are flying to South-Africa and other places, their people are terribly poor. So, it is not like the whole of South-South or South-East or South-West is supporting a particular candidate, no. So, there is quarrel between us and the good people of the South-South who want better leadership. People in my village don’t care whether it is a Christian or Muslim who is their leader, their president.
We always give the example of what happened in the past so that people can understand our antecedents.
You will recall 1993 when we had election between (MKO) Abiola and Bashir Tofa. You know that I come from the same polling booth as Bashir Tofa, in Gandu Albasa, so, why didn’t he win there? He didn’t win in the ward. He didn’t win in the local government. He didn’t win in the state. Abiola, from Ogun State, won. So it was in 1999 when Abubakar Rimi from Kano State was contesting. He got close to zero delegates from Kano while (Olusegun) Obasanjo, a Christian from the South, got delegates and won the election here in Kano. So, politics here doesn’t have to do with sentiment; we are looking for the best. Once we identify the best man, whether he is an Igbo or Yoruba or Tiv or any tribe, we will vote for him. But in any case, if you look at history, you will know that this part of the country has always been very friendly with the South-South. It is only this group of people who came and stole everything.
We are only lucky that we have people like Rotimi Amaechi, Adams Oshiomhole and other leaders that are bringing us together again, while the godfathers there like Edwin Clark, people who should know better, are doing otherwise. Before now, when his memory was good, I think he was a good man. Now, he is fighting and destroying things, but we will always forgive him because we know that when we are close to 100 years, our brains will probably be in the reverse.

We have all these issues on the ground and certainly, sentiments will not work in 2015. All the antics of dividing the country based on religion, based on North and South, based on ethnicity and class will certainly fail in 2015. And I want to advice INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission) to be cautious, because somebody was telling me about suspected tricks of INEC using computer to help a particular political party in 2015.
But we will keep our eyes open and make sure that every single vote counts next year.
If you become president, what are you going to do differently in addressing the problem of security in the country?
First and foremost, as a former Minister of Defence who has been associated with the army and the air force and the navy, I feel so much concerned about what is happening with the military today. The military must be supported by all Nigerians. They have done us proud over the years within the country and across Africa. This was a military that was respected by its friends and feared by its enemies. Unfortunately, over time, things have begun to change.
That glory must be restored. We should have a powerful military in this country. No country in the world can be proud of itself if it doesn’t have a strong military. Any country without a strong army, a strong air force, a strong navy, is a failed state. Therefore, our administration will never take the issue of the armed forces, the police, the SSS and all paramilitary organisations lightly.
What we are lacking today is the political will to provide the necessary ammunition, kits, welfare and, of course, training and retraining. I think these are the issues, otherwise we have seen the performance of our military. We saw what they did in Darfur, Sudan. We saw their performance in Sierra Leone and Liberia
Those people in Abuja want to remain there but they know they are not performing. We only see them perform on electric poles on the streets of Abuja, telling us funny stories and people are laughing at them. They need to know that people are laughing at them. You should tell them when you see them that people are not only laughing, but they are also very angry with their leadership. You know, they don’t know what is happening on the ground.
They are there in Abuja, in the air; they don’t know the realities on the ground. The realities are that people are not eating well, they have no jobs, they are afraid for their lives. Many have been killed and the killings continue.
This is what is happening on the ground, not what they write on their posters, billboards and say on the national television and their privately-owned TV stations. Only God knows how much they are spending. I was asking my friends who are sponsors of that TAN (Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria)? Before now, no one among the members had N1 million, but now, look at what they are sponsoring. The money must come from the Villa.
Recently, some people threatened bloodshed should Jonathan win the election in 2015. What is your take on this?
What many people don’t understand about democracy is that we have so many people in this country with different backgrounds and understanding of things. You see, this is the first time that we have had democracy for a long time like this. Before now, within a period of two years, somebody would come and truncate it. But now, we are having a real democracy where people are coming out to express their opinions, and that is part of democracy. Today in Kano, on the radio, you hear people raising all sorts of allegations against me and other people. As long as that doesn’t cross the line drawn by the law, I don’t think anybody should worry because they are just opinions. But we will continue to pray for this country. Bloodshed is not good for anybody.

KanoState governor and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rabi’u Kwankwaso, spoke with journalists on issues ranging from his presidential ambition to the state of the nation’s economy and other matters.
By Leke Adeseri
GeneralMuhammadu Buhari, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Sam Nda-Isaiah and you are the leading presidential aspirants in the APC. How is this situation being handled for the sake of the party in the coming general election?
We are communicating with one another. Atiku and I have been together for over two decades. We were both under the political leadership of the late Major General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua. We were together during the constitutional conference, in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and now APC.
I consider him as an elder brother. Although Muhammadu Buhari and I had never been in the same party until APC, I have always respected him. We will continue to communicate as a family. We will agree on what to do, whether to leave it for one person or go to the primary. Whichever way, I want to assure you that whoever among us eventually emerges, we will rally round him to ensure that the party succeeds because the success of APC is not only for the party members, but also for the country.
We have seen what has been happening in this country for over two years. Insecurity has taken over. Every day, you listen to the radio, watch television, read newspapers or monitor the social media, the issue has always been the same: people being killed, maimed or displaced. We now have about four million internally displaced people.
File Photo: KWANKWASO DECLARES— Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola (M); with his Rivers State counterpart, Governor Rotimi Amaechi (2nd right); Kano State Governor and presidential aspirant on the platform of APC, Dr Rabiu Kwankwaso(right); APC chieftain Audu Ogbe (left), and Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje (2nd left) during the Presidential bid declaration of Kwankwaso at the former Parade Ground, Abuja.
There are thousands of Nigerians seeking refuge in Cameroon, Chad and Niger Republic and the leadership of this country doesn’t even talk about it. Recently, we sent seven trucks, that is, two trucks of rice and five trucks of maize to Niger, and five trucks each to Borno and Yobe states. Now, we are sending some to Adamawa and other places where you have so many people who are being displaced. I want to appeal to the Federal Government not to keep its eyes away from Nigerians.
The government and the entire citizens should realise that these are our brothers and sisters who have found themselves in this mess. They didn’t bargain for it. I am sure many of them voted for this government in 2011 but this is what they get from them — insecurity.
What we are saying is, it doesn’t matter who started this crisis or who is executing it, what is important is that this government stops it. People are sick and tired of these killings and destruction of properties. The primary responsibility of any government, either in Nigeria or elsewhere, is to protect lives and properties but this government is far from carrying out this responsibility.
What gives you the impression that if you become APC’s candidate you can defeat the incumbent ?
I don’t know why (President Goodluck) Jonathan and I collected our nomination forms the same day. Maybe the indication is that both of us are going to slug it out in 2015, and once that happens, I am sure you know the answer – he is going to lose.
I don’t see anybody who will be happy to vote for him apart from the hawks in Abuja and of course, those contractors and others who are stealing crude oil and oil money. These are the ones that will be happy to vote for him again so that they can continue milking the economy of this country. But the masses, the talakawas of Kano, Enugu, Zamfara, and Bayelsa will be very happy to have a change, a change that will guarantee security of lives and properties of Nigerians, no matter where they live, no matter their religion or ethnicity. These are going to be the issues in 2015, security, economy, not minding the fabricated figures that come from Abuja, indicating that all is well. All cannot be well where you have crises, where you have insecurity, where people are scared of bringing their investments into the country. All these cannot help the economy anywhere in the world.

At least more than 92 people have been confirmed dead and also more that 126 injured on Friday when two suicide bombers blew themselves up and gunmen opened fire during weekly prayers at a mosque of one of Nigeria’s top Islamic leaders.
AFP reporter confirmed that 92peple dead at one hospital morgue
The attack at the Grand Mosque in Kano, the biggest city in the mainly Muslim north of the country, came just as Friday prayers had got under way.
The mosque is attached to the palace of the Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II, Nigeria’s second most senior Muslim cleric, who just last week urged civilians to take up arms against Boko Haram.
The blasts came after a bomb attack was foiled against a mosque in the northeastern city of Maiduguri earlier on Friday, five days after two female suicide bombers killed over 45 people in the city.
National police spokesman Emmanuel Ojukwu told AFP that the bombers blew themselves up in quick succession then “gunmen opened fire on those who were trying to escape”

Perhaps. But according to uniuyo's academic calendar, the present 100-level students are scheduled to commence their exams around late January to early February. Logically, lecturers cannot be conducting exams and simultaneously registering and screening students. So obviously, the registration and screening are what will commence February 16 and not the lectures. Seems like 'patience is our pillar' for now, yes?

Politics / Re: Oshiomhole: Six Years After by hod898(m): 3:49pm On Nov 17, 2014
Before the coming of his administration, Edo State economy was in ruins. Though oil revenue was high, the greater part of whatever accrued from it found its way into the pockets of those elected by the people. It didn’t matter to them that the people they represented suffered. For instance, roads and public schools became so wrecked that an urgent surgical revival was needed to avert total collapse. Midway into the administration, roads in the city centre, including Akpakpava, Five Junction, Mission, Airport, Sapele roads, etc, became self-evident proofs that the administration meant business. Further from the capital, there are too many to be mentioned here. In addition, the administration embarked on a deliberate renovation and reconstruction of public schools, public health institutions and streets, designed and completed with covered drains, walkways, street lights, etc, also in all the 18 local government areas. The health sector witnessed the same level of turn around.
Remarkably, the administration kept the momentum despite dwindling returns from federation allocations and internally generated revenue.
With the accruing monthly allocations from the federation on the decline, from N3.8 billion to N2.8 billion, the administration took to the internally generated revenue option which moved up from its less-than-N300 million revenue before the advent of the administration to its present status of between N1.4 billion to N1.5 billion. Yet, Benin City, the state capital is about the cleanest compared to some of its neighbours with over N10 billion monthly federation account allocation.
In the education sector, the new narrative is known as the red roof revolution. Public schools in the state only compared with poultry farms before the advent of the Oshiomhole administration. At best, most of them had no roofs, making teaching and learning near impossible tasks during rainy seasons.
All that has changed as the administration went on a deliberate education rebirth policy that resulted in the rehabilitation of old and construction of new school buildings, complete with red roofs and every other facility necessary for conducive environment for learning. The new structures are found in all the 192 wards of the state. Education is not only free for both primary and secondary schools, the administration also made transportation free for all uniformed children both in private or public schools riding on the Comrade buses.
Definitely, Edo State ranks as one of the state with the best network of roads. However, they were hardly motorable until the current administration took effect. Since then, things changed for the better as roads from the capital down to the local governments have become a beauty to behold in terms of their look and functionality.
Oshiomhole has taken upon himself some ambitiously near impossible tasks and turned them around. The Azura/Edo Independent Power Project and Edo Water Storm project are obvious examples. The former is a $100 million project and the first Nigerian power project to benefit from the World Bank’s risk guarantee status, covered by the global bank’s Partial Risk Guarantee structure for developing needs of emerging global markets. It is very credible evidence that the state is a viable centre for global investment hob.
The latter is a vast labyrinth of huge drainage system under construction to serve as a permanent solution of the endemic drainage challenge in the state capital.
It is designed to empty the water deluge from all over the city to either the Ogba or Ikpoba River.
For all his efforts, the Benin crown prince, Eheneden Erediauwa, described Oshiomhole’s performance in the following words. “I don’t know of any governor that has developed Edo state in terms of infrastructure as Oshiomhole.”
Ernest Omoarelojiee writes from Benin City, Edo State.
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/11/oshiomhole-six-years/
Politics / Oshiomhole: Six Years After by hod898(m): 3:48pm On Nov 17, 2014
ON November 12, 2008, Adams Eric Aliyu Oshiomhole, was sworn in as Governor of Edo State. It was a special moment for the state and its people for several reasons. Remarkably, it was the culmination of the resilience of the people, who voted and stood by him when anti-democratic forces tried to rob him of the mandate they gave willingly to him, and the judiciary that resisted machinations of the powers-that-be to give a verdict in favour of a popular choice.
The nation became better for it as the judiciary stood resolute on the side of the people. In addition, it was a turning point for the entire state as it marked the beginning of what is now popularly referred to as the ‘new narrative’.
While making the solemn pledge to turn the state around like never before, he underscored his desire to be a people’s governor by seeking their consent to be referred to as “Comrade- Governor.”
Uniquely, his pledge was an unambiguous desire to give the state a fresh breath in terms of people-oriented, physically verifiable development projects that will stand the test of time. The pledge became necessary because the supposedly democratic administrations before him ruined and wrecked the state economy without any attempt to upgrade basic public infrastructure on the pretext that the state had no money.
A few years into his administration, Oshiomhole eroded the ‘no-money’ myth by proving to be a man of his words. Decades after the historic performance left by Dr Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia, who, as military administrator of old Bendel State, left a telling record of infrastructural development, Oshiomhole recreated that long gone era as structures, after hope-rising structures began to fill available spaces in all the nooks and crannies of the state. It was not a surprise that the people decided to give a unanimous second term endorsement in all 18 local government areas despite subterranean sabotage by those put to shame by his performance.
Importantly, Oshiomhole was not given an unassailable second term approval by the people on flimsy grounds. Between his inauguration and the end of his first term, they witnessed an unprecedented, self-evident and widespread development projects spread across every sector, including economy, education, works, health, environment/public utilities, etc, in every senatorial zone, every local government area and every town. With him, the people became convinced that the state had truly become a very positive new narrative.

In his early school days, Albert Einstein was so slow in learning and comprehension that he was considered a little bit dim-witted.
Thomas Edison always came last or close to last position during his early school years at the age of 7 that his teacher told the mum to withdraw him from school.
Isaac Newton was considered to be the most absent-minded man to have ever lived. He was easily distracted by whatever interests him and always came last position in class, they had to withdraw him from school. It is said that his mother sent him to the farm one day-- he was still very young--to bring a donkey home. Isaac Newton got distracted by his thoughts that he only realised when he got home that the donkey had slipped out of the rope and ran away!
Your child is special...all children are, but do not handle him with iron hands because of his slow learning. There are things he's interested in. Make sure you spend more time with him and tutor him personally in a playful manner. Teach him through what he loves doing and not through what you want him to do. Children love it when they learn something new. They'd recite it to you just to buy your affection. By the time he starts understanding, you'll be marvelled at the creativity and brilliance hidden behind his tender heart and eyes...

3 out of 4 young Christians abandon Christianity!

The statistics are alarming: over 70%, that is almost 3 out of every 4, young Christians walk away from their faith when they are in the first years of college! These are young adults who were born and raised in Christian families. They went to church with their parents and likely attended church classes and youth groups. Perhaps they even went to Christian schools or were home schooled. Still, by the time they get to ‘live on their own’, which in most cases is when they go to college; they walk away from their faith, likely to never return again.

2030: The Year Atheists Overtake Christians… in Britain.
The study conducted by the British Parliament showed there were 41 million Christians in Britain, down nearly 8 percent since 2004. Meanwhile, the number of nonbelievers stood at 13.4 million, up 49 percent over the same period.

“If these populations continue to shrink and grow by the same number of people each year,” the study said, “the number of people with no religion will overtake the number of Christians in Great Britain in 20 years.”

The latter article was written in the year 2010, four years ago. The percentage rate of decrease in Christianity in Britain upon which she once stood might have increased rather than remain stagnant. The Netherlands which was once considered a Christian nation in the 60's and early 70's today has about 50% of its population claiming to be atheists, the remaining 50, of which there are more practicing Muslims than Christians.
Turkey which has a very strong foundation of Christianity, where about 3 of the churches Jesus sent letters to in the book of Revelation and where apostle Paul stayed mostly, now has a Christian population of 0.2% from 98%!
But these alarming statistics are not restricted to the yonder lands. Here in Nigeria, the number of disciples of Jesus is decreasing rapidly. We only have 'Christians' and not Disciples. For some reason, Christian youths of today are conforming to worldliness and secret sin. By worldliness, I mean loving earthly goodies to the extent of forgoing eternal life. Let me show you a simple realistic mathematics:
A =(1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). Assuming 'A' is a Christian couple brought up in the faith and the numbers represent Christian values. If A give birth to children called 'B' and fail to raise them up in a very godly manner, then it will be:
B = (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
Also, if B fail to raise the children, 'C' up in a godly manner it will be:
C = (1, 2, 3, 4).
If C does the same for 'D' then:
D = (1, 2, 3).
Again, if D does same for 'E', then:
E = (1, 2).
Again, if E does same for 'F', then:
F = (1).
After that 'F', who has very little Christian faith will do same for 'G', then:
G = (null set), an atheist...
This is a practical example of what is happening in Nigeria and the world in general today. Parents don't watch their children's fate. They are more interested in academics and 'satisfaction' for their children than securing eternal life. It cannot be denied that to many 'Christians' today, the statement, 'eternal life' is somewhat a mystery which they only know its literal meaning without its importance. NO MATTER WHAT, WE WILL STILL DIE AND LEAVE THIS WORLD and all goodies in it. Most 'Christians' of today forget that without completeness, they cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven; without wholeness like
A = (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
we cannot make Heaven. In the next 20yrs, Christianity will be something of a mystery bereft of true doctrines in many countries.
If we don't save our children from the enemy, we are bound to lose them, which we will be held responsible for. We have to change our ways. The world is in the state it was before Jesus saved it--we sin despite knowing it is evil--only this time we'll be guilty because Jesus died for us.
BY NATURE, THE TRUTH IS
1) INTOLERANT
2) DOES NOT HAVE TO BE LIKED
3) DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THE MAJORITY OPINION.
But we need to repent and change our ways. I'll round off this article with one Bible quote:
Matthew 24:22-- But God has already reduced the number of days; had He not done so, nobody would survive. For the sake of His chosen people, however, God will reduce the days.
Politics / Boko Haram: An Open Letter To The UN And The Global Community by hod898(m): 6:15am On Oct 14, 2014
Breaking News, Trending
(LONDON, England)
Today, more than 200 teenage girls will spend their sixth month in captivity, somewhere near the border between Nigeria and Cameroon, scared, hurt and alone.
Luguina Samuel, Kauna Lalai, Hannatu Ishaku – these are just some of the names of those girls held captive by Boko Haram, the Islamic terror group, who will spend another night away from their families and loved ones. Many have been tortured, raped and forced to marry their own captors.
Some aspired to be teachers, doctors and nurses. Others engineers, pilots and scientists. They represented Nigeria’s future. That is why their plight is so important and significant.
The days have turned into weeks and the weeks into months. The world was too slow to act when on the night of 14 April 2014 evil descended on a secondary school in the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria. Boko Haram terrorists, disguised as soldiers, kidnapped 276 female students from their beds at gunpoint. We stand here together, united with our Commonwealth partners, the Nigerian government and the international community to do all we can to help bring them back to their families.
Boko Haram is waging its evil war designed to divide and conquer parts of West Africa, threatening to plunge the region into chaos. Nigeria, Cameroon, Niger and Chad have all suffered at the hands of their brutality and violence. Their impact thus far is just a small taste of the turmoil that will ensue if the group realises its goal of securing an African caliphate in the west of the continent. According to intelligence agencies, Abubakar Shekau, the group’s leader, has already secured the backing of Isis who are sharing intelligence and giving strategic advice and guidance. Emboldened by the success of Isis and equipped with modern small arms, heavy artillery and armoured vehicles, Boko Haram now operates like a conventional army, occupying towns and villages across the Northeast of Nigeria.
Boko Haram and Isis form a key part of a growing, well organised international terror network that poses a direct threat to UK national security. They must be stopped.
We, the undersigned, call on the UN and international community to support:
*.International inquiry into the role, impact and financial networks supporting Boko Haram;
*.Co-ordinated Commonwealth-led military assistance for the Nigerian security forces in their campaign against Boko Haram;
*.Increased international intelligence support and training for the Nigerian government and military;
*.Better co-ordination and focus at an EU level of foreign, defence and aid policy towards West Africa to help combat terrorism and extremism and supporting the Safe Schools Initiative in Nigeria;
*.Following the successful Paris and London summits with Nigeria, Cameroon, Niger and Chad, closer liaison between France and the UK with regards to a more co-ordinated strategy to assist in the fight against terrorism in West Africa.
Signed:
General Sir David Richards, former Chief of the Defence Staff
Colonel Tim Collins, former UK military commander
Admiral Lord Alan West, former Minister for Security and Counter-Terrorism
Lord Ashdown, former leader of the Liberal Democrats
Sir Malcolm Rifkind MP, former Foreign Secretary
Rt Hon Bob Ainsworth MP, former Defence Secretary
Mark Simmonds MP, former UK Africa Minister
Henry Bellingham MP, former UK Africa Minister
Lord Alton
Andrew Rosindell MP. member of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee
Laurence Robertson MP, member of Foreign Affairs Select Committee
David Davies MP, member of the All Party Nigeria Group
Jacob Zenn, associate fellow, Henry Jackson Society (signing in a personal capacity)

Politics / Re: Nigeria: Why America Is Confused by hod898(m): 7:44am On Oct 13, 2014
I hate America's "human rights violation" excuses, truly. Like I always say, the U.S. does not want to see Nigeria surpass them. Their analysts have foresaw the rate with which Nigeria can develope if and only if there is no terrorism and zero tolerance to corruption and that's the reason they try to surpress Nigeria. This was the same thing they tried to do to China but China resisted at all costs. Last week, I heard that China has the Largest economic GDP of 11trn Euros, while U.S. has 10.8trn Euros. Statistic experts said that China has a growth rate in two digits and that with such economic growth rate, their economy will be almost double to that of U.S. by the year 2030! America hates rivals. Israel, Russia, China, Britain, France and co. are enough for them and will not want an African nation, especially Nigeria join the trail. Nigeria is one of the fastest growing economy in the world such that even with the high and fatal rate of corruption, oil theft, not-fully-harnessed Agricultural sector, all of these in the face of deadly Terrorism, she still in number 26th in the world and still growing faster; how much more with the very lack of these? Nigeria will be among top ten by 2030 then, right?
A bill from the National Conference that was recently passed into law is the security of Nigerians in the Diaspora. The implication of this is that Nigerian professionals will now be willing to come and invest in Nigeria. Nigeria will develope faster than anticipated. We don't need America to survive. All the countries where America's troops tread have been left with chaos! Arms purchasing regardless, We have the capacity to develope our arms; you know how sophisticated Nigerians can think. The more they do this, the more we crave for true independence. The more they do this, the more we gain experience. The way countries studied the containment of Ebola, so will they study the defeat and eradication of terrorism and corruption. The truth still stands--NIGERIANS ALWAYS SURVIVE...

Largas:

It is well bro. Bro Hod898, what is this basic all about? Is it same as pre-degree? Or does it guarantee amdission into 200Level for successful students of basic programme? And also, when is deadline for basic programme registration? The fees? Method of registration and requirements. A girl needs it.
Thank you.
Good morning Largas. I'm afraid the registration for the Uniuyo screening excercise for the Basic programme will end today by midnight. The Basic programme is specifically a one year degree programme which prepares students for the Joint University Preliminary Examination Board(JUPEB). Holders of the JUPEB certificate can subsequently be admitted into 200L of the degree offered by Uniuyo through Direct Entry JAMB, provided they meet the admission criteria.
Candidates who seek the Basic programme should possess at least five O'Level credits in not more than two sittings.
The charge for registration is N15,500 in either Uniuyo microfinance bank, Skye bank, Wema bank or First bank. Registration procedures are similar to that of post UTME.
Also, the documents to be brought are the same as those brought during post UTME only this time it is the Basic exam schedule instead of post UTME's. The exam date is scheduled to hold in the CBN auditorium(Town Campus) on Thursday, 16 October 2014 at 8:00am.
Sorry the question came very late...
