It is necessary for children to go to d church so as not to be wayward...........parents do force their children at certain age in order for them not to go astray, after all children are d heritage of d Lord but at times it work for some parents but It's not a guarantee of being a good child cos some children wil stil manoeuvre their way............forcing children to do things is an African way of life!

Yes it has happened around the world............U can love d person U hate so much.......time and circumstance might make U to like d person back U hated at d initial stage e.g he or she can do something significant to U that might turn ur life around for good which has eluded U for a long period of time so in turn he or she will like U for good.........even enemies do become friends by resolving their differences!

Culture / Re: African Time: Who Invented This Phrase? by holums(m): 3:03pm On Nov 17, 2014
African Time is a phrase or slang in Nigeria depicting lateness or time wasting...........poor time management has been part and parcel of Nigerians e.g long sermon and long church service.....sundays should be a resting day at least 4 hours is enough for church service, road transport workers are poor in time management, they waste passengers' time a lot, events and programmes in most places don't usually start on stipulated time(maybe 10a.m)it might be 12 they wil start and lastly most civil servants are fond coming late to work unlike their private counterpart that are mindful of time for fear of not loosing their job or income reduction...............I'm guilty of this at times, may God help us to be time conscious

Afam4eva: There's hunger in the land. That's why. What inspires a lot of Nigeria programmers is money and not really passion. The passion may be there but it's minimal. The situation of things in the country rarely encourages one to setup up such applications that will shake the web world.

Yes U ar right......our economy is so harsh, our environment is hostile coupled wit poverty....these factors is not allowing African to think in terms of technology we are just consumers.....only time will tell when we will get there!......
