Good afternoon everyone

Please I have a question and I would really appreciate everyone’s input, my husband traveled to Canada on a study permit on August 2023, he’s studying a two years course and currently in his second year, since the end of SWOP for diploma student we have been searching for the best way to join him over there, we have a 9 months old son.
We have decided to submit a visitor visa for both my son and myself, we used my Dad as sponsor with a bank statement of over 600 million naira, sitting balance of 18 million and my husband’s 6 months pay slip from his job in Canada, as proof of funds, I personally don’t have any substantial Money in my account and I’ve only been using my OPay account for about a year now, so we are planning to use an investment certificate I have stating that the investments proceeds will be deposited into my account at a later time, while including it in my statement of purpose that I will submit my bank statements when I get the investment
So my question is
1. Should I submit my OPay bank statements
2. Is an investment certified enough for my personal proof of fund?

Thank you

SouthernBreeze:
My application is almost 10 weeks mow and no response from IRCC. Submitted and had medicals on 17th May. Biometrics was done 23rd May. Upfront medicals passed since 5th june and since then no update. Eligibility has not started yet. I've sent several mails and webform yet mo response. Anyone with similar experience? I'm confused right now and my program will begin September 5th

Did you upload the document you were given after the medicals, that was what happened to me, I didn’t upload mine, you should get a response 6 days after you upload that document because that’s how they’ll find your medicals
