We are not in Advanced Economics Theory class here. You should take the pain to read it up. The World bank uses Human Capital Index to rate Economic development. Economic growth is just a fxn of the size of GDP. Hence, we can have Economic growth without Economic development cos EG is a subset of ED. But we can't have ED without EG. I hope I m making sense.

Economic growth and Economic development differs from each other. I can't school you on this but try n read it up. The last administration claim on Economic growth is highly fictitious. I believe this administration is laying a good foundation for all round economic development of which economic growth is just a subset of it. Thanks
