blaqoracle: igbo kill igbo for money, case closed. For those clamouring for the state of biafra, this can only be the least of what to expect.
so you want to remain in the same country with killers rather than them leaving ? common sense is not common indeed.

When she told me that she was coming to Lagos to buy some goods for her boutique in Abuja, I invited her to Casmillo Hotel, Amuwo Odofin, where an incident led to her death. It was not planned that way. It was a big mistake.

“She arrived in Lagos from Abuja on Sunday, July 21 and I took her to the hotel. I gave her a pack of Ribena juice, which had been injected with a drug I use on women that makes them dizzy, weak and wipes their memory afterwards. I have used the drugs on four girls but it did not kill them.

“I stayed in the room with her for about 12 hours. We talked; I used a vibr.ator (se.x toy) on her. I noticed that she did not drink all the juice and so the drug was not as effective as expected.

another story, nigerian journalist and police should all be lined up and flogged, damm cant we ever get a clean clear story , very soon another source will deny they even met her.

They were arrested and have confessed that they killed the lady,” he added. Facts about the case Manko said that on July 22 this year, in FESTAC, the police found a lady dead in her hotel room tied and chained. He stated the police discovered that “somebody called demanding that the body of the bastard be removed.” Manka said when the body was found, the police had no details about the identity of the deceased.

From the yellow card that was found’ we got her passport number from the internet and the Nigerian Immigration Service was able to link her up and was able to establish her actual identity’, he said. Manko noted that the suspects told the police that they started with the deceased on the internet which they were able to establish that she is a businesswoman who comes to. Lagos to buy and goes to Abuja to sell and concluded that she must have money. He said that one of the suspects gave her a flight ticket and an accommodation in the hotel.

The suspects, Manko said, drugged the drink, which they gave to the deceased. The drug, he explained, got the deceased knocked off and the suspects settled down for what they were there for, but that unfortunately, she died in the process. “She struggled before she collapsed and got her killed’, he added.” Suspects’ confessional statement The suspects confessed to journalists that they actually met the victim on Facebook and that their intention was to dispossess Cynthia of her belongings and did not intend to kill her. Okume said that they drugged the deceased with medicine, which they injected in three of the drink they gave to the deceased.

He denied having intimate intercourse with her, adding that the condom that was found in her hotel room was not used by them.He explained that they only used a intimate toy (vib.rator) which they found on the deceased. Okume, the 100 level Accounting student admitted that the deceased was their fourth victim. ‘We always meet with our victims in different hotels in FESTAC,” he added. He, however, denied killing the three other victims and that the death of the only daughter of the retired General was quite unfortunate. Posers The suspects who were smartly dressed were brought to the command headquarters Ikeja in a sleek car.
who do we believe. i dont trust all these news papers especially pm news and sun. they should do an autopsy to confirm this

people will always travel to meet strangers - there's nothing bizarre about that...we have all met with strangers at one point or the other in our lives. your best friend today started as a stranger - there's no biggie! however, my point is if the hearts of men aren't evil, there shouldn't be any danger in meeting whoever we want to meet! people are blaming her for meeting them in a hotel - she could have also been drugged in the car if she had refused to go into the hotel with them!
but at least as a girl she is vulnerable ,she least she can do is tell her best friend where she is going to and who she is meeting and why. not judging her am just trying to send a message to nairalanders , let this incidence be an eye opener for all of us that evil people are everywhere.

Thank you very much, my thoughts as well. Whoever buys this story is just plain dumb. Me thinks her father is trying to cover up the real cause of her death and save face. Its almost certain that she was there for reasons other than business, paper business at least. She very well may have been in that hotel for Runs or was used for rituals. The way and manner her supposed killers were found; the confusion over who exactly took her to the mortuary and when; the fact that the parents didn't make any public appearance before or after their daughter's body was discovered, probably because they knew how she died; and finally the time lag between her disappearance, the discovery of her body and the arrest of these guys.
anything is possible, sadly we might never know the truth.

people also get killed in their own houses - what happened to her could have happened to any of us here! why are some people passing judgement on what they know nothing about? the blame lies at the feet of the killers - they do this for a living anyways and no matter what security measures their targets must have put in place, they would still strike!

it's nigeria we are talking about where virtually everyone can be bribed - from cab drivers, to the policemen and to the hotel manager - its a hopeless country! these boys have killed 5 women before now and i am sure they met their waterloo because they killed the daughter of a general!
i agre with you but we must also try our best to protect ourself, this is not the first time such is happening but for some reason this one caught social media attention, these things are very common if you actually live in nigeria ,people traveling to meet strangers and never making it alife or get into serious trouble that change their life forever.

bittyend: Why do sick fvckers do ritual killings in Nigeria? And why do Nigerians worship money?
the world worship money and go any lenght to get it from wars against oil countries by us and nato to the explotation of niger delta oil , sierra leone diamond, drug kartel killings in mexico , colombia , world bank / imf and developed countries poicies against underdeveloped countries, curruption in governments while the people starve to death. the list is endless. you cannot stopit , you only protect yourself, your family or your nation.

bittyend: So, people are feigning ignorance and acting like the poor girl was robbed and killed, no? Are you guys ret.arded or something? Or is it that some of you can't read properly??

The girl was killed for RITUALS - and she was the 6th victim!!

I'm starting to get scared of Nigerians - some of you're sick in the head!!!

if they are ritualist and have killed 6 victims ,they should be rich enough not to continue, am begining to think there's an underground human spare part market going on in africa especially nigeria maybe sold to indians and other asian countries for transplant surgeries.

they didn't pay for her flight ticket or hotel room - that part isn't clear...stop speculating.
she comes from a rich background and she's into business herself - so what makes you think her flight/hotel was paid for by the thugs?
anyway the story get k leg, and trust nigerian police and what they are capable of, its even possible these people are not the killers but we will never find out . if you dont have strong back up in naija anything can happen to you.the best solution is for everyone especially girls to protect themselves and be ver very careful where they go and who they talk to plus we should always give accounts of our movements.

comments like this one tells me the average nigerian is mentally-challenged! where in the write up did it say the victim intended to pass the night with strangers? what is wrong with with nigerians for feck's sake?
if you think they paid her flight ticket and hotel bill and wont sleep with her then you are definitely not a nigerian or dont know nigeria, both her and the wicked men should be blamed. it is the height of carlesness on her part and wickedness on their part

ochukwuma15: In Nigeria, a lady travelled from imo state to abuja, to meet her facebook boyfriend only to end up lossing her #120,000 brackberry handset to the young man.

Secondly, in badagri, lagos state, a 31 years old man that visited his facebook girlfriend was raped to death by a group of prostitutes who were sex starved.

Thirdly, in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, a young man that visited his twitter girlfriend ended up spending 9 months in prison when his girlfriend's neighbour identified him as one of the robbers that attacked the neighbourhood two nights ago. A case of mistaken identity.

The list is endless, all over africa and the whole world, the negative impacts of facebook and other social networks keeps on hiting us like tsunami wind that blows no man any good.

My advice for youths is that before you accept someone as your friend on facebook, view that person's posts. People that are sick in the brain reasons sickly and also writes sickly. When they become your friend, give them some hurdles to jump, if they fail, unfriend them. Finally, view their photos, they always dress the way they are addressed.

May the soul of the general's daughter rest in perfect peace, amen............ Chucks writes from Enugu, Nigeria.
plus several that die on road accident all in the name of going to visit a stranger, port harcourt mortuaries alone are filled with unclaimed corpses, i have a female friend that was raped by 5 men , she went to visit one whom she met on facebook but ended up being ganged raped by all of them, they took her fone and jeweries and left her stranded in benin , of course they deleted their account. i dont understand what our women and young men have turned to these days.

nigerian girls be carefull ,stop going to visit strangers in other cities, it has become a norm among nigerian girls to meet strangers online and before you know it they go visit them during the weekend, pls stop it. they are many casses like this , including those that ended up inhands of rituals, rapist ,kidnappers. let this be another eye opener.
Politics / Re: Opinion - The Destruction Of Northern Nigeria By Simon Kolawole by htajz: 1:10am On Aug 21, 2012
PointB: When the bigger picture is broken down into its component part, Kolawole is right, the north is being destroyed by active collusion of its people and elders. If the Northern elders want to solve the problem, they very well know what to do. They should take the lead, while we follow.

'Tomatoes' can be grown in Green Houses, while fish, and chicken are better substitute for 'red meat.'
gbam, worse case scenario we import from ghana or cameroun. thread closed.
