Question is who are the brands behind the gigantic mall project at Akachi?
At least we know next mall is at Onitsha road.

In my view i believe Imo state need to invest in the hospitality sector very well many people come to owerri to have a good time if they can capitalize on it the igr of this state would boom , build more pleasure parks where youths can hangout and have good time and have fun, fully utilize oguta lake by bringing cruise boats and other things let spread developments away from Owerri to other places

the transportation business in imo state needs to be looked into they is money there I don't know why they are building a mall in ekonuwa market at Douglas tho it's not needed at all they need to discongest that Douglas market its making Owerri so dirty and criminals are back there .

Owerri recreation park is taking shape shelters are been fixed there

Health care is been worked on

New integrated plastic plant is under construction at Umuneke Nguru road Ngor okpala and a host of other industries.

The only downside is housing and security, though security improvement is on a steady rise.

We pray more infrastructures are put into shape in order to attract more investments

••••• The New Signature Projects Of His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma.

The Imo State Government is gearing to set new standards in road construction in Imo State.

Towards achieving this goal, the Imo State Ministry of Works will on the 17th June 2022 perform the opening ceremonies of tenders for the under-mentioned road infrastructures.

1. Rehabilitation/ Dualization of the Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia road.

2. Design & construction of Interchange Bridges (Flyover) at the Assumpta Roundabout Owerri.

These key projects of the Shared Prosperity Administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma will complement other infrastructural milestones already recorded in Imo State.

It will be recalled that the Governor Uzodimma led administration had embarked on the reconstruction of major highways that serve as entry points into the Owerri Capital City.

Already, work is nearing completion at the Owerri/Orlu dual carriageway and the Owerri/Okigwe road.

why not reconstruct the ones at orji and amakohia instead of building new flyover at assumpta
