EFCC Solicits For Zenith, Providus and Jaiz Banks Help in the Probe of the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry

The Group Managing Directors (GMDs) of Zenith, Providus and Jaiz banks, on Tuesday, honoured the invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), to hand over documents relating to accounts operated by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to the anti-graft agency.

A source from the Agency confirmed that the bank Czars, departed the Abuja headquarters of the anti-graft agency after the documents were handed over.

Multiple sources close to the banks, EFCC and the Presidency, clarified that the banks documents were requested by the anti-graft agency, to help in its ongoing investigation, into alleged financial impropriety in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, suspended the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, and directed investigation into her Ministry.

Edu, who was grilled on Tuesday, by the EFCC, had allegedly directed the disbursement of N585,198,500.00 grant meant for Vulnerable Groups in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Lagos and Ogun States, into a private account.

TB Joshua: Prophet Joshua Iginla Reacts To BBC report

The founder of the Champions Royal Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla, has expressed sadness over the disturbing allegations being leveled against the the late televangelist, TB Joshua.

It would be recalled that BBC had exposed alleged secret lifestyles of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, accusing him of several atrocities including rape.
According to a documentary released by the BBC on Monday, no fewer than 25 eyewitnesses accused T.B. Joshua of sexual assault, physical abuse, fabricated miracles, and trauma

Reacting, Iginla in a post on his official Facebook page on Monday, lamented how the social media is being used to peddle lies, saying “social media is now the Holy spirit of many”.

The Abuja prophet recounted the legacy of the late man of God, saying the “impacts will remain fresh in our memories unto generations unborn”.

Part of the post reads, “Nothing can erase your legacy, neither can anything puncture the greatness of your impact upon innumerable lives.

Those who have taken the position of God as agents of judgement, who feel they are without sin should keep casting stones, but the stones will still become the building corner stones to further announce your legacy and undeniable great impact.

“In such a generation where social media is now the Holy spirit of many, lies has become truth and truth has become lies—may God help us and lead us!

“As much as we don’t support or identify with sin, but what’s the essence of allegations on the dead? when they’re not there to defend themselves? Let the dead rest in peace.

You remain a great kingdom general of faith who reflects love and humility. Your impact is immense and outstanding. We cannot love you less, no matter what people say or think”

FAKE NEWS: GLO NOT OWING MTN

Facts have emerged to prove that the reports making the rounds about a phantom debt owed to MTN by Globacom is a fallacy.

According to investigations, the story is a campaign of calumny against Nigeria's fully indigenous telecommunications company that has redefined access to communications at all levels.

A source informed us that what was due in payment was N1.6 billion, and the said amount had been paid without any controversy, wondering where the peddlers of the fake news got their information from. Could this have been another case of deliberate falsehood and ineptitude?

"It is either the act is deliberate or gross ineptitude on the part of the detractors, who find it difficult to do ordinary cross checking of facts. Glo does not owe MTN, not anybody," the source said.

Nigerians have therefore, called on the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and President Bola Tinubu, to intervene and stop the witchhunting against Nigeria's only solely owned telecommunications company.

Recall that Glo is the first telecom that introduced the pay per second form of billing, thereby cutting the monopoly of the other foreign companies operating in Nigeria.

His vast experience cannot be compared to other Aspirants because he knows his onions and his chances of winning the election for the APC is extremely high. Having served in various ministries and government parastals, Dr Umakhihe with his expertise and experience ranging from Agriculture; to sports, Security, Finance, and so on. The good people of Edo will sure be thrusting the affairs of their state in the right hand.

Little wonder why Mr Lucky Ohiomai, a young entrepreneur in Edo State declared his full support to this course of taking Edo state and her people to another level by supporting the ambition of Dr Umakhihe. This declaration was made known during the Retirement Dinner organised in honour of the just retired permanent secretary and by the grace of the Almighty the potential Governorship flagbearer of the All Progressive Congress in the upcoming Edo poll.

JAPAN Earthquake/Tsunami: Another fulfilled 2024 Prophecies of Pro Kingsley

Prophet Kingsley Aitafo has been proven right again as the mouthpiece of God with the confirmation of his prophecies for 2024.

In his prophetic warnings for 2024, he revealed that there will be many natural disasters in the year 2024. It starts with water like a flood, the sun will be very hot, and many seas will overflow. Fire outbreaks will be much and earthquakes, and many world economies will start moving toward crashing.

And as a confirmation of his prophecies the year 2024 started with some natural disasters as japan experienced Tsunami and earthquake. Japanese rescuers were scrambling to search for survivors as authorities warned of landslides and heavy rain after a powerful earthquake that killed at least 62 people.

The 7.5-magnitude quake on Monday that rattled Ishikawa prefecture on the main island of Honshu triggered tsunami waves more than a metre high, sparked a major fire and tore apart roads.

The prefecture’s Noto peninsula was most severely hit, with several hundred buildings ravaged by fire and houses flattened in several towns, including Wajima and Suzu. Satellite before-and-after images released on Wednesday gave some idea of the scale of destruction.

Also, a Japan Airlines plane was in flames on the runway of Tokyo’s Haneda Airport on Tuesday after apparently colliding with a coast guard aircraft, television reports said.

The images on broadcaster NHK showed the plane moving along the runway before an explosion of orange flames burst from beneath and behind it.

All 367 passengers on board the Airbus plane were evacuated, broadcaster NHK reported.

The cause of the incident was not immediately clear, but television reports said that the Airbus collided with a Coast Guard Aircraft.

Terror By The Sea…Who Will Save Lagos Waterfront As Land Speculators Sand-Fill Ikoyi Bay For Housing Projects?

by Opeyemi

●How Illicit Sand-Filling Of Lagoon Fuels Climate Crisis By Land Speculators At Ikoyi Bay

● Residents At Risk Of Been Submerged

Disaster looms on the coastal belt of Lagos as Land Spectators swoop on the sprawling estates and luxurious neighbourhoods dotting the panoramic expanse of Ikoyi. Consequently, residents panic against the backdrop of the distortion of the city’s master plan by land speculators working in cahoots with estate developers. The latter flagrantly spurn the policies and programmes of the state government which are geared to address climate change, thus aggravating the flooding and possible submerging of the state’s upscale neighbourhood.

One businessman messes with Mother Nature, and an entire city suffers the brunt of his misjudgment. Yet most businessmen hustle to shield themselves from the effects of their error in judgment. While this may seem probable in ideation, it is impracticable.

Thus at the real estate mogul’s unsettling of mother nature, chaos ensues, and the truth dawns on society like blisters of eternal damnation; everyone gets to understand that there are neither rewards nor punishments for provoking mother nature, just consequences.

Consider the terrifying case of Ikoyi Crescent, in Lagos, for instance, since land speculators and developers swooped on its waterfronts, sand-filling the Lagos lagoon and encroachment on the beautiful waterfronts that adorn the upscale neighbourhood, the area has been exposed to protracted flooding and erasure of its once sightly esplanades.

Recently, the residents of the highbrow Ikoyi Crescent, in Lagos, were jolted to see their waterfront awash with sand courtesy of the operations of an upstream dredger, whose equipment bore the insignia of “Dredging Atlantic.” They watched in abject horror as the sand-filling operations of the land speculator brought down the upscale quality of the neighbourhood; they rued the probability of seeing the lagoon succumb to the unregulated and unauthorised real estate venture.

Mortified by the ensuing consequences in terms of a possible loss of the aesthetics the lagoon offers their properties and an outlet for floodwaters, the residents petitioned the Lagos State government.

In 2017, a group, the Coalition of Concerned Citizens of Lekki, Ikoyi and Victoria Island, expressed similar trepidation, with its representative Olusegun Ladega, an architect, exposing the distortion of the Lekki drainage regional master plan “caused by the indiscriminate sand-filling of natural waterways.” According to him, the sand-filling of Lagos lagoons and oceans is causing coastal erosion, forcing water back to land. The Ikoyi Crescent residents observed that the realtors and developers sand-filling the lagoon close to their neighbourhood had no proof of an environmental impact assessment report. Ladega believed the Lagos government could do more, stressing that the inability of the environment, waterfront and physical planning ministries to “work together” has resulted in infringement and breach of environmental laws by the ministries’ poor enforcement of environmental laws, building regulations and town planning guidelines.

Lagos ministries at the heart of the matter

The Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development directly oversees the waterfront. The Ikoyi Crescent residents said they made their observations known to the ministry. Neither the waterfront ministry, the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development could tell what is going on in the Ikoyi neighbourhood. The environment ministry told THISDAY it did not approve the sand-filling of the lagoon, citing that it is not under its purview. The physical planning ministry did not respond to THISDAY’s inquiry.

However, the waterfront ministry replied to the newspaper’s inquiry, albeit unofficially.“They did not obtain approval from the ministry. The ministry did not give them any approval. When the ministry received complaints about their activity, a ‘stop work order’ was issued to them,” said an official of the waterfront ministry who spoke under anonymity.

The official did not state if the Lagos government would penalise or prosecute the trespassers. In October, the Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Yacoob Ekundayo Alebiosu, issued a ‘stop-work order’ on illegally built structures at Oyinkan Abayomi, Ikoyi, in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area, pending a review of any prior regulatory licences that may have been granted.Alebiosu had issued the order while inspecting several development sites along the waterfront corridor across Lagos, noting that the development violated the state’s regulations.

“The state government’s attention has been directed to the large unlawful development projects that have destroyed the area’s desirable waterfront scenery, putting the entire environment at risk of erosion and degradation,” said the commissioner. In November, the Lagos government announced that following the non-compliance with the ‘stop-work order’ issued earlier to a developer of an ongoing multi-floor residential building on Oyinkan Abayomi Drive, Ikoyi, it had sealed the site of the project ordering workers to vacate the building immediately.

While the commissioner admitted that dredging could be done in Lagos, Alebiosu emphasised that it must be done with control and caution not to disturb the ecosystem and endanger the lives and property of the people. Lagos is the smallest state in Nigeria, yet it has the highest urban population, 27.4 per cent of the national estimate (UN-Habitat). Lagos’ dominant vegetation is the swamp forest of the fresh water and mangrove swamp forests, both of which are influenced by its double rainfall pattern, making the environment a wetland region. The Lagos drainage system is characterised by a maze of lagoons and waterways, constituting about 22 per cent or 787 sq. km. (75.755 hectares) of the state’s territory. In 2020, the Lagos government, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and C40 Cities, took bold steps to address the climate change scourge, which has become a defining environmental challenge to the state and several other parts of the world. But, the clandestine activities of realtors and developers seem to undo all the government’s positive steps.

What lies beneath

By 2030, an estimated 108 to 116 million people in Africa will live in low-elevation coastal zones—defined as areas 10 meters or less above sea level, a figure projected to double by 2060, according to the Africa Centre for Strategic Studies, noting that in the near term, North and West Africa will be most directly affected, comprising 85 per cent of the projected 100 million population affected on the continent, though every region is threatened. Egypt and Nigeria, with high-density metropolises near the coast, are anticipated to face the greatest population disruptions.

Home to at least 20 million people and expected to be the world’s largest city “by the end of the century, Lagos, a low-lying city on Nigeria’s Atlantic coast, also experiences the triple impact of perennial fluvial (river), pluvial (rainfall), and coastal flooding.”The centre explained that adding up the damages to assets, economic production, and mortality, the World Bank found the total cost of “just fluvial and pluvial flooding in Lagos is $4 billion annually,” pointing out that rising sea levels combined with high urbanisation will exacerbate future damage. It added that between 2020 and 2030, Africa’s seven largest coastal cities—Lagos, Luanda, Dar es Salaam, Alexandria, Abidjan, Cape Town, and Casablanca—are projected to grow by 40 per cent (48 million people to 69 million) compared with the continent’s overall anticipated increase of 27 per cent (1.34 billion to 1.69 billion).“Smaller coastal cities may expand even faster: Port Harcourt in Nigeria, for example, is expected to grow 53 per cent over this decade. Globally, Africa’s coastal regions are anticipated to experience the highest rates of population growth and urbanisation in the world,” said the centre.

Public-private collusion?

THISDAY contacted Dredging Atlantic, whose equipment was sighted working at the lagoon. There was a denial of involvement in the ruination of the lagoon beyond a commercial hire of their equipment by an unnamed realtor or developer.“That is false information (that Dredging Atlantic was the firm sand-filling the lagoon). I just made an enquiry, and it’s not Dredging Atlantic. They hired our equipment,” a representative of the company said. “But if you want to get clearer information, then go to the Lagos State Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development. We don’t have any permit to work there. It’s not in our name.”

When the Dredging Atlantic official was told that the dredger on site belonged to Dredging Atlantic, his response was: “They hired our dredger.” However, “the company also undertakes various marine construction projects and geotechnical works; excavation offshore reclamation contracts; services for developing water installations for marine facilities and excavation contracts; drilling and deepening waterways, ports and marine installation,” according to information on its website.

A marine expert, Hakeem Ogunbambi, told THISDAY that it is unlikely private investors, realtors, and developers are carrying out the surreptitious sand-filling of the Ikoyi Crescent lagoon without the active collusion of Lagos government officials.“This reclamation is not being done by the private sector alone. They have their collaborators in the government. So, nobody can just take their dredger to the lagoon and begin to dredge or begin to do reclamation without the backing of some government officials.” Ogunbambi suggested that “those close” to Sanwo-Olu are not unlikely to be at the top of the food chain.

Nonetheless, the Lagos government is committed to the ideals of climate change. Last August, in a bid to combat and mitigate the effects of climate change in Lagos, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu restated his administration’s commitment to working closely with experts, organisations, and the global community to ensure that Lagos remains at the forefront of climate action in Nigeria, admitting that “while we have made significant progress, there is still much work to be done since the challenges faced demand continuous innovation, collaboration and adaptation.”

The clandestine sand-filling of the Ikoyi Crescent lagoon will require “much work” from the Lagos government to stop unauthorised developers and realtors from wreaking havoc on the Ikoyi axis and its waterfronts. Lagos Lagoon is receding, no thanks to so-called speculators and developers illegally assuaging the appetite for upscale real estate with little or no regard for watercourse, town planning codes and safety, according to several Ikoyi residents.

Apprehensive residents worry that the indiscriminate sand-filling of the lagoon will aggravate the already perennial flooding in Ikoyi. According to THISDAY checks, several dredging activities along the lagoon shoreline are usually carried out at night, surreptitiously encroaching the waterfronts of some Ikoyi residents.

Realtors and developers are forming landmass by illegally sand-filling the Lagos lagoon and selling the land to unsuspecting affluent and sometimes influential figures.

In my vision, l saw something like a transparent glass and I saw a chimpanzee fish and human being in the same container. And God said to me there is something going on in the scientific world, like an experiment and the backlash of this will cause a lot of shaking . It's like a white community and this caused a lot of death. It's an evil agenda. The next battle that will shake the world is not physical battle but biological weapons.

The cryptocurrency world will grow big and take another turn, especially in the next four years between 2024 and 2028. That those who are in that world will become multi-billionaires.

The Arab world will grow very strong. I meant countries like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Dubai. Don't undermine them.

China - I saw in my vision that China will wax stronger and will be feared by the super powers. I saw insurrection and an attempt on the life of president. He has to pray between 2024 and 2030. Pray against a triangular conspiracy. There will be attempt to overthrow him.

Putin- President Putin needs prayer for his health and his life. His candle light is burning very fast.I see manipulation , a Messenger and I pray the power of a woman will not destroy a great giant.

America: President Biden means well for US but need to pray against internal enemies especially for this reelection. The female VP has a bright star with a strong political future. A lot of drama will happen in the political climate of America. And president Biden should pray to finish well.

Donald Trump - He is not someone I love as a person ( I meant his ideology) but as a prophet I will say he should not be undermined or looked down . I saw a white horse and an American flag with nobody on it and i saw him closer to the white horse than other contestants. He is a factor that should not be undermine. If he picks his Republican ticket, what is ahead will shake the world. I will throw more light on him later.

African leaders should take the youth serious to avoid revolution that will chase them out of their palace . When this revolution starts the power of the gun and bullets won't be able to stop them.

African leader should take care of their security operatives. Else, the news of coup will be like rains. The coup last year is not the end.

His excellence, President Tinubu should focus on his health to prevent medical emergencies twice. We pray God's agenda for him will come to pass.

Tinubu meant well but be careful of those he relies on as I see faithful people becoming unfaithful and betrayals. Friends before can become an enemy today.

PLATEAU: The governor should pray. I saw his seat being occupied by another person. He should pray to finish what he has started. The governor meant well but the forces of darkness in Plateau state will not want him to succeed. He should rise not to only sustain his seat but his life too. He is a star in this country despite the issues surrounding him.

Kano: the governor should pray for his health and grace to sustain his seat. I see future riots and civil unrest due to the court judgenent coming ahead.

River State: the governor is a good man and where God is taking him is big. He should be careful of his advisers. He should continue to follow the path of peace with us former boss. I see another storm coming ahead and I pray he finishes his term. There will still be storm that will try to thwart the path of peace he is towing.

Wike- The political destiny of Wike is very strong. I remember God sad he is a factor is the scheme if things not because he is righteous or perfect but because if certain things attached to his destiny. He will face strong betrayals at the federal level and will face betrayals. Hard times are coming ahead of him. Will he survive it, yes he will.

Kogi- the newly elected governor will try to fulfill his electoral promises but there will be strong battles between him and his boss influence by those who wants him to fail earlier. No matter the prayers it will still surface. He will have trying times ahead.

Botswana- the current president will retain his seat in the 2024 election and will break more ground economically. He meant well for the country. He will see a lot of betrayals but it won't stop him. The rift in the opposition party will deepens because of selfish reasons and greed.

Namibia- I see the hand of God in that country. God will raise great prophets and will raise a lot of harvest economically. I don't know why I see a female at the helm of affairs after the current president. She will cause a great turn around.

South Africa - Like I said in the past Julius Malema will be a president or leader one day because it's in his destiny once he holds on to God and listen constructive ideas and advice. In the forthcoming election the ruling party,ANC, will still hold the presidential seat and lose some strong holds to the opposition party. SA should pray against earthquake and natural disasters. I see a lot of fire outbreaks and civil unrest between 2024 and 2026 so they won't be seeking for Aids from nations they once helped.

Rwanda- the ruling party will still hold power but this re-election will bring a serious battle to the incumbent. I see insurrection and coup attempt. He should pray that what happened to other nations wont occur there.

South Sudan- there is already a revival coming to the churches in that country. They should pray against premature death of men between the age of 35 and 45. I see outbreaks of sickness without adequate provisions or medical facilities. The incumbent president will still be there but pray to finish what he started. He should pay attention to his health. It's only the living that can rule a nation.

Mozambique: There will be revival in the churches of that country but there is a need and a cry against division among ministers and churches. The key to turning things around is in their hands . The women should pray for their rights to be protected. I see massive violations of human rights of women. Most political leaders should ask God for mercy and great fall of some politicians unless they repent. The economy will grow strong but not as expected. The ruling party should not underestimate the opposition. I see a crop of young men in politics coming out strong but it won't stop the ruling party from winning if they seek God's face.

Togo: the pastors should pray as the watchmen are no longer watching. I see a great leader of the church being called to glory. The president meant well but will suffer betrayals and pray against poison attempts. Hard times are coming for him but he should guide against overconfidence.

Gabon- the leader that emerges through coup will try to fulfill his promises. He should pray against against another coup attempt .

This is applicable to Burkina Faso too. The leaders of Burkina Faso should watch the month of June, August, November and the dates for Burkina Faso like 22nd, 1-3rd, 8,9 and 10 of the months I mentioned.

Zambia- Pastors in zambia should pray against marine world agents sent to cripple their works. I saw greatness coming out of zambia- and the spiritual fathers in Zambia should come out in unity and pray for that country. The key is in their hands. The government of the day should not look down on the spiritual fathers. Important goverment officials should pray against accidents that can claim their lives. The economic situation will still be harsh. The current president will try his best because he meant well, but their is a force in the state house that battles presidents. He should pray for the state house and fulfill his promises to citizens . God loves Zambia. He should spend his democratic dividends he promised zambians and avoid distractions. He should not make the opposition popular by his direct or indirect actions. He is not the David but the saul. The real david is coming but i dont know when.

Angola: I see a serious rainfall. I see great men being called home.

South Korea: God is raising four people who will break ground than Pastor Youngi chow. The churches will begin to experience a great revival. The ruling powers will still hold on to power during the election but the person elected should pray for his health and to finish well.

Ghana: John mamah is a factor in the election and should not be undermined. There is a star on his head. Hard times are coming for the incumbent president after finishing his tenure. The prophetic is coming back to Ghana.

There will be climate change between 2024 till 2030.

There will be a surge of female ministers with strong Apostolic and prophetic mantle and will use the foolish things to confound the wise.

Religion / Why Iginla Is The Most Accurate Prophet Of The Year by Hunter2009: 8:06am On Dec 29, 2023
Why Iginla Is The Most Accurate Prophet Of The Year

The year 2023 started with palpable fears and anxieties as Nigerians were eager to know what the year had in stock for them especially since its general election period. These trepidations were further heightened by heart-quacking predictions from notable clerics who churned out diverse prophecies on why President Tinubu will not win the election. However, one notable voice stood out like a voice in the wilderness who insisted Tinubu will win the election as revealed by God. He said God revealed to him during his 2023 prophecies that there will be a win and gain here and a loss there and that concerning the presidential election, he sees the most criticized and hated candidate emerging winner under the permissive will of God.

That lone voice in the wilderness that has been adjudged the most accurate prophetic voice in 2023 is the clergy with the prophetic mantle and Abuja-based General Overseer of Royal Champions Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla.

Interestingly, even when most major religious leaders were prophesying something else, he stuck to his revelation that Tinubu is the major factor in the equation of things in the 2023 election.

It would be recalled that during his prophetic release for 2023 said God told him Tinubu would be a great factor in the forthcoming 2023 election. "God said something to me that is very deep. The man called Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a factor in the equation and you can not remove him and you cannot push him aside. You cannot drive him backward or push him aside, except God pull him out of the equation. You cannot remove him by human means. If you push him aside, you will know that a factor has been removed from the equation, the only thing that can move him is God. Only God stops him. I'm not speaking in favor of anybody but I'm saying what I've seen and will leave the rest for God," Prophet Iginla said.

And of a truth, the road to Victory for Tinubu in the just concluded 2023 election was tarred with twists and turns. It was a journey filled with betrayals from loyalists. At a point, his Victory looks like a mirage but the clergy's message keeps resounding clearly that Tinubu is the major factor in the equation. And it came as he accurately predicted.

Aside that, Iginla had predicted that Governor Wike would be a major factor to reckon with ahead of the last election. Wike’s name ricocheted audibly as the APC presidential candidate won the election in Rivers State in what many analysts ascribed to Wike’s impact. He had noted that the governor would play a major role in deciding Nigeria’s destiny. “Wike’s political destiny is not yet over; he will play a major political role in the destiny of this country, the star is on his head somehow. He should watch over his health too and avoid being poisoned. Like I said, Wike is a factor,” the prophet said. Infact, as stated, Wike was the first governor to have become a minister in the ruling party after leaving office despite being a major voice in the opposition. Also, his political relevance became obvious with what played out in Rivers state.

Furthermore, his prophetic warnings concerning Kaduna state, Benue State, Plateau state, Enugu state, Abia State, Cross River came to pass as he warned that as the election goes, the parties holding those states should be prepared and not be over confident so that we won't have surprises, and that the parties ruling the States like Rivers, Lagos, will retain the seats.

Another notable fulfilled prophecy of Iginla was the issues of the former CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele. IN his prophetic release in January 2023, he revealed that the CBN Governor should pray well because he sees hard times coming ahead of him. And everyone could attest to the inglorious exit, shameful arrest and detention of Emefiele.

Interestingly, Iginla was the prophetic voice who accurately predicted the major waves of military interventions we witnessed in several african countries in 2023. Aming his prophetic release for 2023, he said, “I see military interventions in most African counties between now and 2028’’. He specifically mentioned the incident in Gabon will occur arou nd August 2023 and it was so. Coups in Niger republic, Gabon amongst others attest to the fact that Iginla has become the most accurate prophetic voice in 2023.

Truth be told, Iginla has been a consistent accurate prophetic voice for a while now. He has become a global voice that is fearless, daring and unshakeable.

Joan Marques said It’s easier to take than to give. It’s nobler to give than to take. The thrill of taking lasts a day. The thrill of giving lasts a lifetime. Jesam Micheal embodies a selfless and sacrificial giver whose major focus is putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged, lifting people, reaching out to the forgotten and forsaken, and helping people interpret their dreams.

As his usual practice, Jesam Micheal celebrated his festive season with the patients in UGEP General Hospital in Cross River State. The humble and caring Philanthropist showed all the patients love each other and equally paid the hospital bills of all patients running into several millions. The joy and excitement on the faces of the patients, their wards, and the management of UGEP General Hospital was epic.

Like Leo Buscaglia once said too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Jesam Michael truly embodied this when he visited the Virtuous women orphanage home at UGEP and brought tears of joy to their faces and ensured they experienced true love at such a time like this. He gave them a sum of 5 million naira and additional 750k by increasing the salary of the staff from 15k to 30k for six months.

To Jesam Micheal, giving us not an act but a lifestyle. Interestingly, the DPO of UGEP police station visited him and like a barrier breaker and line crosser he is known as, Jesam Micheal ordered the immediate fencing of the police station that has not been fenced for over 20 years. This also elicited joy from the security agencies and they showered Encomium on him.

My mentor is Apostle Joshua’s Selman of Koinonia Abuja, and my Role model remains Priyanka Chopra. Even though others like AMB Beauty Sudar Aliyu, Naomi Cambel, and others alike moist my nature and personality.

My manager told me about it but I had encouragement from someone special (Charles)to contest.

My second project is on youth skill acquisition/Agriculture. My Third project would be projecting Cross River State and Nigeria at large as a tourist State and Country by traveling to different places while doing documentaries...

Leading Fintech Expert, Jesam Micheal Applauds Tinubu For Lifting Ban On Cryptocurrency, Charges Nigerians To Embrace AAS Token

https://saharaweeklyng.com/leading-fintech-expert-jesam-micheal-applauds-tinubu-for-lifting-ban-on-cryptocurrency-charges-nigerians-to-embrace-aas-token/

Leading Fintech expert in Nigeria, Jesam Micheal has applauded the President Tinubu Led government for the official lifting of the ban by the CBN on Cryptocurrency in Nigeria and charged the Nigerians generally and the youths, in particular, to take advantage of this and buy into the Afriq Arbitrage System which is the leading global cryptocurrency platform in Nigeria.

Interestingly, Like a financial prophet, Jesam has been at the forefront of the push for the Nigerian government to embrace cryptocurrency which is the trending financial system in the world. While receiving an award presentation from the Nigeria Media Masters a week ago as the Fintech Expert Of the Year,, he said God’s kind of money and government paper kind of money is no longer in vogue but the people's kind of money which is crypto is the most viable form of financial empowerment everyone should embrace now.

He reiterated this stance when the Presidency of NANS inducted him into the Hall of Fame and also awarded him the Icon of Hope. He charged the youths and the Nigerian government to embrace cryptocurrency which is the antidote to global economic inflation.

Interestingly, the Nigerian government listened to his voice as the Central Bank of Nigeria changed its stance on crypto assets in the country and asked banks to disregard its earlier ban on crypto transactions.

This is according to a circular dated December 22, 2023, with reference number FPR/DIR/PUB/CIR/002/003, and signed by the apex bank’s Director, Financial Policy and Regulation Department, Haruna Mustafa.

The circular is titled ‘Circular to all Banks and other Financial Institutions Guidelines on Operations of Bank Accounts for Virtual Assets Service Providers (VASPS).’

The apex bank stated that current trends globally have shown the need for crypto regulation.

It said, “The CBN, in February 2021 issued a circular restricting banks and other financial institutions from operating accounts for cryptocurrency service providers in view of the money laundering and terrorism financing (ML/TF) risks and vulnerabilities inherent in their operations as well as the absence of regulations and consumer protection measures.

“However, current trends globally have shown that there is a need to regulate the activities of virtual assets service providers (VASPs) which include cryptocurrencies and crypto assets. Following this development, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) in 2018 also updated its Recommendation 15 to require VASPS to be regulated to prevent misuse of virtual assets for ML/TF/PF.

“Furthermore, Section 30 of the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022 recognizes VASPs as part of the definition of a financial institution.

“In addition, the Securities and Exchange Commission in May 2022 issued Rules on Issuance, Offering and Custody of Digital Assets and VASPs to provide a regulatory framework for their operations in Nigeria.

“Given the preceding, the CBN hereby issues this guideline to guide to financial institutions under its regulatory purview in respect of their banking relationship with VASPs in Nigeria. “

The apex bank noted that this new guideline supersedes its old ones referenced FPR/DIR/GEN/CIR/06/010 of January 12, 2017, and BSD/DIR/PUB/LAB/014/001 of February 5, 2021 on the subject.

It also affirmed that banks and other financial institutions are still prohibited from holding, trading and/or transacting in virtual currencies on their own account.

It added that all banks and other financial institutions must immediately comply with its new guidelines.

In its circular with reference number BSD/DIR/PUB/LAB/014/001, dated February 5, 2021, the apex bank reminded banks that dealing in cryptocurrencies or facilitating payments for cryptocurrency exchanges was prohibited.

At the time, it asked banks to identify persons or entities transacting in or operating cryptocurrency exchanges within their systems and ensure that their accounts were closed.

And as predicted, President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, sacked the heads of various agencies in the aviation sector, replacing them with acting and substantive heads.

They include Mr. Kabir Mohammed of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria; Mr. Tayib Odunowo of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency; Akinola Olateru of the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau; Prof. Mansur Matazu of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency; and Alkali Modibbo, the Rector of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology.

He also suspended the Director-General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Musa Nuhu “to enable the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to conduct an unfettered investigation into the activities of the suspended Director-General and other senior officials in the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority,” a statement signed by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, revealed Wednesday night.

The statement is titled ‘President Tinubu approves leadership changes in the Aviation and Aerospace Development Sector.’

Consequently, the President appointed Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku as the substantive Managing Director of FAAN; Umar Farouk as the substantive Managing Director of NAMA; son of former Chief of Air Staff, Mr. Alex Badeh Jr. as the substantive Director-General of the NSIB.

Tinubu also named Prof. Charles Anosike as the substantive Director-General of NiMET, Mr. Joseph Imalighwe as the Acting Rector of NCAT, as Mr Chris Najomo assumes office as the Acting Director-General of the NCAA immediately.

Furthermore, he approved the commencement of the process—to be conducted by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo—to recruit a substantive Vice-Chancellor and other principal officers of the African Aviation and Aerospace University.

The move is “In line with the President’s determination to bring world class standards to Nigerian Civil Aviation in consumer protection and the promotion of the wellbeing of Nigerian passengers and other sectoral stakeholders,” said Ngelale.

The president said he anticipates that the new leadership across the aviation sector will uphold the safety, convenience, and comfort of Nigerian people as primary and sacrosanct in all of their administrative activities.

Due to the high cost of underperformance in the sector, the President also demanded the immediate establishment of world-class policy design, implementation, and regulatory frameworks to reposition the sector in alignment with his Renewed Hope Agenda.

Ngelale affirmed that all the directives of the President take immediate effect.

Kaduna Bombing: How Prophet Kingsley Warned Against Military/civilian Issue

Prophets are the mouthpiece of God and when God speaks through them, the wise listens. Weeks back, popular Prophet, Kingsley Aitafo released a Prophetic warning against an ugly incident of military/ civilian issue.

And to confirm the message there was widespread outrage on Monday over the accidental bombing of Tudun Biri in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State by the Nigerian Army on Sunday, which left no fewer than 85 villagers dead.

Residents of the affected communities said they were celebrating Maulud, an Islamic event when the bombs were dropped by the military, a development that triggered both local and international condemnation.

The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Hadiza Balarabe, had to visit Islamic clerics in the state to douse tension, as the Governor of the state, Senator Uba Sani, ordered a thorough investigation into the bombing to forestall future occurrences.

As the state government moved to douse tension, the Christian Association of Nigeria, Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, Human Rights Watch, and Amnesty International, among others, condemned the recurrent erroneous bombings by the military.
