Let's lay aside the Bill Gateses, Richard Bransons, Michael Dells, etc. and celebrate our own Nigerian entrepreneurs who made it despite the harsh economic situation in Nigeria. Mention the ones you know and their major achievements. Please don't give names of military and public funds looters, we are talking of entrepreneurs here. ![]() Mike Adenuga Aliko Dangote you already know these ones very well. ![]() Razaq Okoya - The 'Eleganza' man. He is an industrialist. Eleganza industries produce biros, coolers, etc. Obateru Akinruntan - You must have been seeing Obat Petrol stations here and there. He owns all of them. He also has the largest privately owned oil depot and jetty in Africa. ![]() Folu Ayeni - He started Tantalizers and brought it up to become a formidable competitor for the widely popular Mr Biggs. Now the outlets are virtually everywhere in Nigeria. Quite an achiever there but umm, he needs to stop chasing small chics. ![]() Alex Ibru - The brain behind the most widely read Newspapers in Nigerian - Guardian Newspapers. I heard he (and his brothers) are also behind Oceanic Bank. Oladele Olashore - I don't know if Lead Bank has gone with the bank consolidation thing but he owns the bank. He is the king of Iloko-Ijesha. He also has a school there called Olashore International. Chidi Anyaegbu - King of the transport industry. All those big luxurious buses bearing Chisco Transport are owned by him. His company is the biggest in the industry. So add more. And please help us to look for women! If you put the name of a woman, you win a special prize from me! ![]() How come there are more Yorubas in that list? ![]() |

I got this in my inbox twice. So funny. ![]() |

I've been to a lot of Yoruba weddings and this is what they do: The husband's family, according to culture, brings out the bride price and gives to the wife's family. The wife's family accepts it and one elder in the family will stand up and say "Thank you blah blah blah but we are not selling our daughter. Therefore, we humbly return the money." *Everybody claps* But the husband's family must first give them the money, I wonder why that formality!!! ![]() |

Nawah, why don't you show some love to the crippled by marrying one? ![]() ![]() Dappy, hell yeah! It's good to be choosy! ![]() |
![]() |
I understand it can be annoying because I've been in that kind of situation before and what I learnt is that if you don't like it that way, clean it! If you can't clean it then leave it and enjoy! ![]() 1 Like |

As much as I love to check other people's phone, I don't like my phone to be checked! If my friend, not even boyfriend, picks up my phone to check I will quickly grab it from him/her. I am secretive. ![]() ![]() |

I understood what you meant and I was just saying that since you didn't watch the show then you can't really tell if the other girls too were not just looking different (better?) in their pictures. So I had to ask "or did you watch the show?" Hope we now understand each other. ![]() ![]() |

This extremely hot model in UK, Jordan proposed marriage to her husband. She actually asked him outright. But that's oyinbo, it's kinda awkward for Nigerian girl o. ![]() |

Chinani, when you say it's Miss Lagos' picture that is pretty and not her, how are you sure it's not the same with the other girls too? Maybe their pictures too are pretty and not them. And that means in the long run, she's still the prettiest. Or did you watch the show? |
![]() |
Lol, @Seun so someone that is pretty cannot find true love. That's quite funny. I've never heard that before. |
