be very careful dude, else u'll be acused of serious involvement with the boko dudes of having a hand in d bokos......is GEJ the manager of the bokos..let look at this word in two ways: in one way, being the manager, GEJ cud be a controller of the bokos or on the otherhand, he has the bokos under control...so what exactly does helrufai mean?

Family / Re: See What A Woman Had To Pass Through To Support Her Family. by iebelieve(m): 12:55am On Apr 02, 2012
u call dis risk? I call it the way of life for many local rural farmers..... Reading the comments of many nairalist makes me laugh as many of them are city dudes and chicks...i grew up in d rural part and still in touch and i knw how we live...i promise u all. If that okada falls, nothing will happen to that woman.

On the otherhand i express my total disatisfaction for those using insultive words on that woman or the okada driver....its uncalled for......that, this is risky to u doesn't make it risky for others.such dudes should go read up the basic principles of philosophy on right and wrong.

Business To Business / Re: Start A Cyber Cafe Bussiness For as slow As 250k by iebelieve(m): 9:58pm On Mar 03, 2012
sadNO offence intended:::: i don't subscribe for anybody to really go into cafe bizness ful time cos of mobile technology. Gone are the days when pple go to cafe to browse and do everything, Since the advent of blackberry and smart phones, any one going into cafe biz can't break even cos of generator cost, network subscription cost, system maintenace, Rather as a business consultant with more interest in startup strategy: i advise any one with 250k to go into computer bizness centre training, game centre and then d cafe can then come in as an extension of the computer school, cafe bix is now seasonal, the only profit making period for cafes is during UTME registration periods, pls don't use or invest 250k into cafe bixness, u won't make it.

Education / Re: Whats Your Thought On Vocational Education In Nigeria? by iebelieve(m): 3:39pm On Feb 28, 2012
I think being self empowered is the key to reducing unemployment, as it is, the ministry of education recently, starting from January 2012 with SS1 students included COMPULSORY 34 vocational courses to the curriculum and mandated schools to pick a minimum of 3 of these courses and to be offered as compulsory subjects, this implies that every student leaving secondary school in the next 2years must have learnt atleast 3vocational courses and can do something worthwhile while in school, after school or when still waiting for admission, this is a welcome development even though the govt has shifted the burden to the school onwers to bear. With every Nigerian child having a skill or vocation, chances are that there will be drastic reduction: in the number of students seeking admission into higher institution at the same time, crime rate and joblesness,
Any one/teacher or school in need of the new curriculum and vocational course guide, seminar outline and implementation guide from the ministry of education should pls contact GENIUS SKROOL CONSULT via email:geniusskroolconsult@gmail.com or call 0809 375 9013.
Thank you.
Education / Re: Nigeria Union Of Teachers (nut) Protest Downgrading Of Tai Solarin University by iebelieve(m): 10:14pm On Feb 27, 2012
sincerely any body supporting the ogun state govt for scrapping TASUED should rethink and obviously doesn't knw anything about the Nig edu. Sector,
Take for instance, as a teacher recruitment agent, everyday i have 10s of mails and calls from proprietors seeking teachers for vacant post and am way behind target cos no one wants to teach, if you're supporting the ogun govt then read my book, I HATE MY JOB:the irony of the teacher, how many youths in nairaland wants to be teachers?, a country where education is not even encouraged, if u then scrap its only uni of edu and turn it to a mere faculty of a school with highly inconsistent carlender, then ibikunle amosu and it advisory team are leftbrain.
Pls for the first time lets support the NUT to kick against this visionless out of touch leaders and demoralizing policies for the sake of my unborn children,so that there will be teachers in the classroom to teacher them, atleast NUT is not fighting for salary increment

Education / Re: Covenant University Fuel-less Car Unvail! by iebelieve(m): 1:01am On Feb 24, 2012
i was there at the 30th anniversary when this car was unveiled, and with the presentation i witnessed, its a step in the right direction,
The reason am commenting on this issue is because am an educational researcher, from experience, every school is set up for 1. Reesarch 2. Teaching 3. Community services.
If am to criticise objectively, i'll only fault the hype given to the effort, when CERN discovered Neutrino, they placed it in public domain for any researcher to fault find and come up with suggestions.
The school shud have done this to see more suggestions, and sincerely, making a rechargeable for the nigerian public is not adisable for now considering our power supply. Beyond that, let the engeering gurus on nairaland give further suggestions on what best to do about this PET PROJECT''
and truely SEUN the owner of nairaland will help get the msg across cos he is a product of CU.

Education / Re: Fg Stops Diploma Programmes In Varsities by iebelieve(m): 12:30am On Feb 16, 2012
Am happy about this development and concurring with everybody's skeptism, i hope the dons will stick with this derective.
Appropriate sanctions should be given to the defaultng schools to serve as deterrent for others, i just hope this will not be like every other policy in Nigeria that has been swept under the carpet.
There had been times NUC in their attempt to enforce their satutory rights ordered unversity to stop post-utme, till date no school obey.i just hope they'll obey this one.
