All visiting visas are processed and issued at lagos (including the 'almighty' 10yrs visiting visa)- irrespective of whether you submit at Ikeja or Abuja

This is not true. Visiting visas are processed both in lagos and abuja

As a Photographer, i can prove it to you that the only picture in all those pictures that is 100% photoshoped is Wike's wife picture.

Completely photoshoped.

True, photoshopped. But still pretty

Seattle poe? That's some very serious and long journey. Unless you are coming in from canada?

It's not that long. Example, London to Seattle is shorter than london to Houston.

Hello everyone. Thank you for all the useful information posted on this thread, I have learnt a lot. My questions which is the best airline to take from lagos to houston and what is the average cost of this flight for a roundtrip. Anyone with Qatar experience will be appreciated especially on the 9- 12 hours stopover.

There is an airside hotel. It costs about $220. But if you are staying for 8 hours or less, you can get it for $180 or so

Also I read there is a lounge you can access for $50 or so

For all.

Once we get to Cincinnati airport, will it be easy to get a cab to Dayton, Ohio. ( both Dayton and Cincinnati are in the same state, ju about 1 hour drive to Dayton) but my question is that will it be easy to get a cab to Dayton ?

You can use an uber. The fare estimate is 87-117 using uber. Use the uber app to get a ride and track the driver. However it is a cashless service,so you have to link your debit/credit card

I don't think he is a Nigerian but he might be resdent in Nigeria, the only people that I have heard with 5 years visas to the u.s in about a year are non Nigerians residing in Nigeria ,because I learnt the standard became two years ever since.

Only a few countries like saudi/Jordan/Pakistan/egypt and ghana I think get 5 year visa. Others get 10 years, others a year or even less. And some, like us 2 years.

He said he is in the UAE

You can use the prime class lounge. It's 35 euro I think. But they only accept cards not cash. There's food (buffet) ,shower ,children's play room. So u can relax there

Oh, you mean I should have done a longer layover and pass the night or something of that nature?? I'm getting worried again cos I'm gonna be coming back with baby.

The short return layover was a cool point with me before now cos I'm not a patient "waiter" and also not a fan of wandering around airport lounges, what options are there?

You should try and break up the journey especially because you'll be coming back with a baby. Spend a day or 2 in istanbul not just airport layover. But if you feel you can manage, then give it a go

Your account is enlightening but the bolded is really helpful to ME,( booked TA cos it was the cheapest of ALL abuja airlines by about $500+ for my July date to chicago). I've been skeptical about them cos the Yelp reviews about TA had me scratching my head &asking myself if they are really licensed to fly in EU & USA cos they are HARSH.

Though I've flown a few intn'l airlines, I don't have a high standard cos Arik & Aero will cure you of any illusion about flying and lower any bar you set but the reviews were scary.

Pity I won't be able to enjoy the one night lodging on the return leg cos the layover is just about 75mins, wish it could be extended to the 7hr layover 1st leg to US part of the journey, the meal tix is an ok compensation.
Better than nothing.. Thx.

Turkish use 737 for abuja and kano routes. Small plane with tight leg space. You should have broken the return journey though, I did that and I almost passed out(new york -istanbul-kano 17 hrs)

Congrats to you and baby!. Please help us ask people around for name and location of affordable accommodation with kitchen/kitchenette (between $700 - $1200 per month) even if it's one hour from the hospital! Most very cheap hotels are not usually online. Thanks and sorry for the trouble at this time but I really need this info. I don browse taya.

Check www.airbnb.com. Better yet, download the app and you can use the map to search for accommodation closest to hospital

California is expensive though.

No. Only naira debit cards. It's better people get domiciliary accounts. Rather than go with cash in bulk
