Rental income is not erratic. It is more dependable if you know how to do it or give it to those who know how to.
Wrong tenants owe, while right tenants don't. Still boils down to doing it right from the start.
You don't use rent for repairs as long as the property is occupied by a tenant. Only external repairs are carried out rarely.
Only major repair/restructuring of property requires govt approvals which do cost some money to process.

Now, no matter what, your property never lose value, even your empty land. Your rental value too also keeps going up, and astronomically too especially in the major city.

You don't generalise only with your experience.

While am yet to receive fund or an acknowledgement mail from CSL.

Kudos to Morgan

Modification:
Below is what happened after I posted the write up above.

After few hours I made the post above, I was contacted by CSL and the fund was later credited same day.
More of this type of review is needed here.

STANBIC IBTC na big men's broker......
Starting from their minimum investment amt.......to buy/sell fees.
Guess it's most suitable for value investors.
The big ogas using it here may be of help anyway.

Concerning the minimum investment amount, I think it has been changed.
It was discussed here (around sept, 2021) when someone posted the link below here.

FOR ME, the above post means standing in the middle. If you see the way currentprice and few others drop their tip, you will know where they stand.
This is not to discredit you. Most times when you mention a stock, you put one leg "north" and the other "south".
For commentary though, you are very good at it.

My account was frozen due to inactivity. Someone sent 70k into the account, and I can't make use of it. I was directed to contact customer care on: 07008888328, but since on Monday, the number is not going through.

I really need to make use of the money.

Try sending email.
If your account is linked to a pos machine, try making at least 8 withdrawals from different cards.

After pledging enough collateral with a good security cover one should not be compelled to buy stock from a list which they change every quarter, I may be wrong but I see Stockbrokers who do that as Monkey Hunters

rote author=essentialone post=120596763]3 reasons why I will be completely quitting the use of Meristem stockbrokers by Q3 of this year.

1. Of all my stockbrokers, only Meristem stockbrokers deduct #50 from the money I deposit into their account, per deposit.
2. Of all my stockbrokers, only Meristem stockbrokers will not allow you to use all your deposited money to buy shares. They will always hold back N100 to themselves. The money is small but the reason is unclear and most likely invalid.
3. Of all my stockbrokers, only Meristem stockbrokers does not have the option of placing an order that can remain valid for 30 days. The maximum number of days that an order can remain in Meristem stockbrokers is 14 days.

I have tried to complain about these three things to them severally, but I think their Management does not care about feedbacks and complaints. Please if their agents are here, tell them ooo.

I agree with you.

Of all the stockbrokers that I do business with, it is only Meristem that will give you a margin loan on insist on the shares you must buy. These shares are reviewed every quarter.

Once I have provided enough security cover I should buy whatever stock I want to buy. You will hardly make money from their margin loan facility, I believe they are always late to the party as per the stocks on their list

For the 3 reasons he stated, I think they can be easily overlooked if other services are okay.

I do take personal loan from my broker. When the fund hits my account, I can use it for whatever I like. I can also move it to another broker and buy what ever I want to buy.

I bought it on 18 Nov 2021 and demanded for the statement on 9th December 2021 but was not reflecting on CSCS statement of account.my money was deducted with regards to quantity purchased and price limit.
My order number is 707272 that was sent to my email.

No contract order but purchased order

Please I needed help to resolve it.

When you login to your account, go to your transactions to see if the purchase went through. If it is not there, it could mean that the price limit you selected was not met that day. The money might have been liened pending when the price limit is met.

Are you serious ?

I have upto 2.8 million naira in my Opay Owealth Wallet.
I was thinking opay is licensed by CBN.

The money in your Owealth is safe just like the money in your Opay account.
So if you think your money is safe with Opay, it is same with Owealth. The reverse is also the case.

Better for them.
Due to their high opening account balance then, I was unable to open an account with them.
If you don't receive me when am small I can't go back to you when am big ( unless you are the only option left).
I guess they are getting to understand this.
Thank God "boys" are now "men".
