Hello, people is there disadvantage in using same CHN across multiple stockbroker? Or is it better to just setup new CHNs per broker?

It is better to you use one CHN

1. Physical wealth ( health)
2. Time wealth (freedom)
3. Social wealth (status)

Money is already a given if you have the above three. I might not be financially wealthy, but I have the top 3 that money can't buy.

I would be able to meet my needs. I might not be financially wealthy or rich but I would definitely be contented.

Money can actually facilitate the 3.
From my understanding of social wealth, you don't need to struggle to get it if you already have financial wealth.

I really don't know much about the app and the procedures...but I am very sure of I what do. I personally operate from home and get to visit my clients at their place of business occasionally.

It is illegal to give loan with interest in Nigeria without having the license.
You are only allowed to give friendly loan (no interest).
Though........

Which kind culture when some people even collect salary advance, just thank God for your own. I thank God for my own too

Is a culture. You can only practice it when you believe in it.
How can someone who earn 1,000 a month manage it. If you really understand savings, you will know that the person can as well manage 900 per month.
In both cases it wont be enough to meet your basic needs but you can save to make your future better.

I think he meant family wise. Like I have a business here , which I shouldn't abandoned yet madam isn't earning much so can afford to leave for greener pastures with the kids but could this lead to the family breaking up.

I certainly owe my kid a better citizenship but they are too young to move on their own and moving madam away is risky......

Exactly.
Ahiboilandgas this is the area am looking at based on the question asked.

My oga, I need advice on this emigration issue, especially for my family.

Is it advisable, kids 4 and a year old.

Young wife 25yr. I fear the separation is risky for husband/wife and the cultural influence on the kids.

Then which country

Chances of regret is high. This opinion is based on cases I have seen.

Is the current rate 9.091% for 2yrs?
Again, if 5m is logged in for this rate, yearly interest I'm assuming is #454,550 and quarterly interest is #113,637.
Please someone should confirm this calculation for me.

Yes 113,637.5

Please, are you sure about the 10k minimum for FGN BOND? How and where can one access this instrument?

Thanks.

FGN savings bond has a minimum of 5k.
You can read previous posts to see the list of accredited brokers.

If a platform is setup where people can monitor all there Tbills using there BVN irrespective of where it is purchased from. It will solve the problem of fear.
Just like with shares and bond, it can be monitored on the cscs website.
Then you will be 100% sure who your fund is with.

You are right sir. Mutual fund and i-invest are almost the same. They both pay interest at the end of the tenor. I can't call it treasury bills.

Almost same. One of the main difference with mutual fund is at the point of investing, you choose a tenure and rate. So you already know what your return will be at the end of the tenure.

I call quarreling a waste of pages. Maybe you have not been following this thread. I know what am saying when it comes to the issue of I-invest app.

I have been following this thread for years now. At least I read up to 95% of the posts.
Yes I followed the discussion then. After that I decided to test the app with their minimum. I found out that most of the people who talked about it then have not used the app or made proper enquiry. They were just making assumptions.

Who conceived this I-invest and what makes him think I will leave my interest payable upfront for them to trade with. Imagine if I invest 10m at 10%, and someone keeps my 1m interest to himself all in the name mobile transaction.

They need to come up with something better

It all depends on the tenure you are going for and the rate you are getting. Most times if you are going for a short tenure, is better to use the secondary market. Even without the upfront interest, you can get a better deal on i-invest than the primary market. (Note: For short tenures)
