Come now and read this thread and witness how Ibo, your so called christian brothers are disparaging and belittling a respectable Yoruba Christian, and incoming First Lady.

How will Nigerians massively vote for someone and you want him to accept this open day robbery??

Una no rate Nigerians shaaaa.

Stacey Abrams and the International community una dey shame me oo

Pat Utomi, same man who brought Obi to LP, was a Tinubu boy.

Obi is a puppet in Tinubu's strategy to defeat PDP against the monumental odds working against APC as a party.

Tinubu even worked a strategy that defeats him in Lagos but rewards APC at Federal Legislative elections. Think about that for a moment. Same election, same venue, same ballot. Tinubu was punished but APC rewarded, and Obi thinks his popularity won Lagos. So why didn't LP clear all the Legislative seats? grin

Obi's boss in LP is Tinubu's boy. Tell Obi to watch it, or we will raise another Ibo with political empowerement and end Peter Obi's political career forever. grin

Nobody can deny the fact that the Igbos have contributed immensely to the development of Lagos.

This is not true! It is the opposite.

Lagos is why Ibo is successful. Without Lagos, Ibo is a nobody.

Show me a successful iboman that has zero contact with Lagos. Just one!

So why the threats of Igbos should leave Lagos.

All those contesting for Lagos governorship seat are all Yorubas on the platforms of LP,APC,PDP.

Don't forget that the Alimi's in Kwara state choice of a candidate cannot be the same with some Yorubas yet, the Alimi's had never been threatened the way Igbos are being threatened..Why so?

Ibos are not threatened in Lagos. Ibos love attention. When people ignore you, you will find reason to be at center of attention. Yoruba people in Lagos are giving you attention, not threatening you.

Now that Tinubu has won, when are you renouncing your citizenship?

In other news...
How come President Tinubu now speaks coherently immediately after he was declared winner?
About 20 mins into his acceptance speech which he was reeling almost offhand, I had my mouth agape and had to ask myself "Is this Asiwaju, or a clone?"

His incoherence and gaffes and other dramas like people holding him from falling were all strategic stunts to take our attention away from what he was doing across the nation.

It has now been revealed that given the dynamics, Tinubu did not really care about winning any state, he just wants his 25% contribution from any 26 states. He got it from 30, but also turned out with most state wins and largest votes.

Shettima did same clowning with his first outing dressed in oversized coat, off color tie and some second hand looking tennis shoes. We were fooled. After his speech his mode of dressing did not matter anymore, people sat upright with attention.

Dont underestimate Tinubu. grin

I am sensing a serious turn around in Nigeria politics. I don't know what the elited are cooking against 2023 Election. Tinubu may lose at the end and also lose his business empire Lagos state.

Tinubu has more serious enemies in Nigeria than Abiola.

APC is not loosing Lagos State.

Obi got majority vote in Lagos because of Yoruba votes, that turned against Tinubu.

Next election is not for Tinubu, and Yoruba love Sanwo Olu, he will win.

Politics / Re: The Igbos, Lagos State & Kwara State? by ImperialYoruba: 11:45am On Mar 04, 2023
VOICEofORIENTAL:
The Igbos of South Eastern region of Nigeria, is the most attacked tribe in Nigeria, for the good & bad decisions they had made.

Probably, because the Igbos are much more closer to all tribes of Nigeria, more than they are closer to the Igbos.

The recent threat & attacks against Ndigbo in Lagos for pitching there tent with LP, is what I don't really understand.

NDIGBO,IS PART OF LAGOS & NOT THE OWNERS OF LAGOS...

If an Igbo man/woman dies in Lagos, his/her corpse would be transported to the South Eastern region for burial. No Igbo man/woman would want his/her dead relative to be buried in Lagos.NONE!...so,why the threats & attacks?

That some Igbos said: Lagos is no man's land, doesn't translate to Igbos owning Lagos.Ndigbo knows where they came from...no tribe in Nigeria celebrates XMAS SEASON in there native land more than NDIGBO!

Secondly, I'm surprised why no attention is been paid to Kwara state?

Kwara state,200yrs ago was 100% Yoruba land.
But today, Kwara state is being controlled by Alimi's relatives.

According to history, Afonja was betrayed by Alimi & since then Alimi's brothers has been IN POWER in Kwara state.

Finally, what would be the outcome if Alimi's brothers have the type of population Ndigbo currently has in Lagos State?...

Or which other tribe would my dear Yoruba brothers prefer to Ndigbo,to have a LARGER POPULATION in Lagos?

You make zero sense comparing apple and oranges.

Kwara Governors have always been Yoruba. Lagos Governors have always been Yoruba, and will remain so.

Compare A to A, not A to P

One thing that happens over the years is that after the Presidential elections, People get demoralised and the useless politicians get elected back in the States as Governors and into Houses of Assembly. That is one wrong thing about holding the Presidential elections first.
This time, we have been robbed and injured, we have been dragged, we have been laughed at, we have been challenged to do our worst. They are counting on the usual pattern, that is, people will swear not to vote again, but no. We will give them red nose.
We have a pound of flesh to cut, we must descend on those States that played dirty game with us, and then the power blocks that are proving stubborn. We must make sure their candidates bow to LP candidates and the Houses of Assemblies have full Coloration of Labour Party. Remember, this will help boost Obi’s struggle to reclaim is mandate. Me must make sure LP flags flies in the following States
1. Rivers State
2. Akwa Ibom State
3. Benue State
4. Lagos State
5. Imo State
6. Delta State
7. Kaduna State
8. Bayelsa State
9. Ebonyi State
Comrades!!! The battle is not over, rather the battle field is changed. Let us go there and get those corrupt establishments to their knees. Remembers, we were only challenged, not beaten. Let’s take revenge NOW!!!

You do realize plenty Yorubas love Sanwo Olu. I dont see how LP will win Lagos, not going to happen.

Tinubu pulled the most crowds at the rallies, but at the end, he struggled to win 12 states. Even lost in Lagos that his rallies were more like carnivals wink

You lost presidential election. You lost a competition at national level, and you here beating chest about a local win. This election was not about Lagos, it was about Nigeria.

The bus conveying Elders of Alaibo has almost arrived Abuja. Their arrival was delayed due to mechanical trouble with the bus. Spare parts for repair had to be rushed in from Aba, unfortunately the repairs were too complex for Chinedu skills, so after wasting plenty hours not getting a fix they sent an SOS to Ibadan. Fatai arrived on time and put the bus back together. They are back on road.

We tried to speak to Fatai to understand what was broke, but he is currently sitting over a bowl of amala and ewedu and guzzling the hydraulic like crazy. Expect to hear more later.

Politics / Peter Obi Forced Atiku Abubakar Into Political Retirement. by ImperialYoruba: 5:46am On Mar 01, 2023
Peter Obi betrayed Atiku.

Atiku elevated him politically in 2019, and stood by him against SE opposition and call for Atiku to drop Obi. When in 2023 Atiku needed support, Peter Obi did not only abandon him in PDP, he left for a different platform to compete against his trusted benefactor 4yrs ago.

Someone told me yanminri does not believe in serving under anyone. Rather than serve in a winning alliance, yanmiri would rather stand alone in a struggling loss. He would then turn around and proclaim his loss as a act of bravery, just before he would begin a regimen of complaining bitterly about his loss.

Peter Obi branched out of PDP when he saw he would loose primary. He went to LP and stepped over those before him to become boss. He has lost a winning strategy for PDP. He has lost LP.

Atiku will retire from seeking the Presidency. Peter Obi will not have a chance against the next generation of contestants in PDP. Saraki, Mark, Tambuwal, Wike, and so on. It is likely Yusuf Datti Ahmed will return to PDP to contest. Moreover, LP will not field Obi in next election.

Obi will become the new Atiku, spend the next 20yrs chasing Presidency and not getting it.

Hausa people go say a garin neman gira, an rasa ido. In the effort to beautify the eyebrow, the eye was blinded.

Politics / Re: Peter Okoye:. I Would Have Voted Yemi Osinbajo Against An Igbo Man (pics) by ImperialYoruba: 2:38am On Feb 28, 2023
care4you:
..
Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye has said he would rather vote for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo against an Igbo man like the Chief Whip of the Senate and senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu.

The 41-year-old made this known on Tuesday via his social media handle after revealing that he is not supporting the presidential candidate of the Labour Party because he is Igbo.

"If you think I am supporting PETER OBI because he is Igbo, try replacing him with Yemi Osibanjo against Orji Uzo Kalu and see if myself and Igbos won't massively vote for Yemi Osibanjo," the singer wrote.

Recall that the singer on Saturday had questioned Osinbajo's stand on the new Naira scarcity for which some aggrieved APC governors sued the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government.

"In all of these, where does the vice president of the Federal Republic, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo stand?" He tweeted.

He further lamented the hardship brought upon the people by the Naira redesign policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), saying the policy will prevent APC from buying votes in the general elections.

"Dear APC Governors, We the Nigerian people are not complaining about the policy. As a matter of fact we are so used to the hardship APC has brought upon us. We actually stand with Buhari and Emefiele on this one. We still have N50, N100 and N200 Note in circulations! Desperados," Peter wrote in another tweet on Saturday.

The singing twin brothers have openly pledged their support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi whom they are confident will win Nigeria's presidential election on February 25.

Election Updates...

1. Peter Obi wins "Tinubu's" Lagos. But you are still saying INEC is rigging for Tinubu just so that when Tinubu wins Katsina, you will say it was rigged.

Oh wait. Atiku won Katsina, Buhari's State.

So really how many persons do you want to accuse INEC of rigging for? Why not accept where your candidate lose?

2. So Obi can win Lagos, it is not rigging. But Amoda Ogunlere cannot win Osun that you said he is from, it is rigging.

Oh wait. Tinubu did not even win Osun. Atiku did. So what are you saying please? You thought Obi will win Osun??

3. Obi went to Kano and went straight to Sabon Gari where you have Igbos and minority Christians.

That is the divisive campaign Obi ran yet you will shout rigging if Tinubu wins Kano.

Oh wait. It is Kwankwaso that is winning Kano despite being an enemy of the sitting APC Governor!

Again, what are you saying

4. In the South East where Obi is from, Obi is winning by 90%

In the South West where Tinubu is from, Obi has won Lagos, Atiku took Osun. But when Tinubu takes Ekiti, it is rigging.

What is wrong with you guys?

5. Obi is winning in Edo State. If you add PDP and APC votes and times it by 2, Obi is still winning. This is a State where there is a PDP Governor and a Former APC National Chairman.

But it is rigging anywhere Obi is not winning. How can a people be this bigoted?

6. I have read, on WhatsApp, people saying they will poison food and give to Northerners for not voting Obi.

I have read people here saying they will never give a Northern beggar any money for not voting Obi.

Meanwhile Obi is clearing the South South and South East and Northerners are not threatening anyone. And you will call them uncivilized?

7. An unknown Labour party candidate for House of Rep, defeated the APC and PDP to win Etin-Osa Fed. Constituency in Lagos.

The APC guy was Obanikoro's son. The PDP guy was Banky W the musician. Both floored by a Labour party candidate people didn't know.

But the election was rigged is coming from the mouth of Labour party supporters.

8. Another unknown Labour party candidate defeated the APC and PDP in the major Senatorial Election in Edo.

The gap was almost 200%. If you add the PDP and APC votes together, the unknown Labour candidate still beat them with over 50k votes and these were not small candidates. They are the two most influential people in Benin!

But Labour Party supporters are still shouting rigging, failed election. Does this make sense

9. Obi is heading to 500,000 votes in Enugu. Whereas Tinubu has less than 5,000 votes in the whole Enugu.

This is not rigged, but wherever Tinubu wins is rigged.

10. Atiku's VP is the GOVERNOR of Delta State.

In Delta State, Obi has won 11 out of the 16 Local Government Areas annoinced so far.

But his supporters are still shouting the election is rigged. Is that not madness?

NB: If you cause the war you are using to bully everyone we will all suffer it. Pat Utomi that is encouraging you will carry his oyinbo face and seek asylum somewhere in America or Europe where he will collect cool breeze and return after your demise to claim hero of democracy. Use sense.

Muslims in the North told their people to vote Muslim-Muslim ticket to show christians they own the country while the rest wanted Atiku their Muslim brother. In revolt and also the suffering and persecution the Christians are going through in the country, Northern Christians voted en mass for Peter Obi. Down South, SW to be precise, Christian States like Ondo and Ekiti voted for Muslim-Muslim ticket and the rest voted for Muslim Atiku.

Now the Northern Christians who were thinking SW Christians and indeed, all christians or majority Christians would Vote Obi to give him victory are now left stranded and betrayed by their counterparts.

Apart from Lagos that's a cosmopolitan State, Can SW Christians explain why they voted Muslim-Muslim ticket and Muslim Atiku?
