You have lost election, lost petition.

Go and find something to do. Obi will never be a President of Nigeria in his lifetime.

Disperse and see how you can benefit under Tinubu's renewed hope for Nigeria.

To hell with this youth movement!

Nobody cares if they are at war or at peace, but since it claims to be the forefront voice of ndigbo it ought to have the influential presence, assuming their intention in this statement is true, to rail back its citizens on internet giving ibo bad name and image.

Ibo has left bad taste in people mouth around the globe.

That kind film does not exist. Yoruba don't see south East as organized region where you can make it.

That's why yoruba don't travel to that landlock region that's full of pain and agony.

For Igbo, it is a other way round, no Igbo man can make it without coming to Yoruba land.

Show me one if you disagree.

In a sane society, the NPF and Fashola will be made to pay for their actions, you don't trample on innocent people fundamental human right because you possess power. I trust a human right activist is gearing up already for some cash out on this case. The law does not permit the offense of A to be transferred to B.

But in your autonomous village the law permits you to defame your elders? Correct?

Politics / Re: Meet OPC The Terrorists In Yoruba Land A Thread by ImperialYoruba: 7:36am On Sep 04, 2023
Uyomiya:
The OPC has been responsible for numerous acts of violence and its members have killed or injured hundreds of people. While many of their most serious attacks were directed against Hausa, or people suspected to be northerners, their victims have also included Igbo, Ijaw and people from other ethnic groups. There have even been cases where they have attacked Yoruba, both civilians and policemen. Most of their victims have been men.

Numerous eye-witness testimonies gathered by Human Rights Watch confirmed that contrary to their leaders' denials, the OPC have used a variety of weapons, including fire-arms, machetes, cutlasses, knives and daggers, which they are often seen carrying openly. There have also been several cases where they have poured acid on their victims. Frequently they set fire to the corpses of those they had killed, sometimes after mutilating them. It has been difficult to confirm the sources of the weapons used by the OPC. Small arms proliferate in Nigeria and it is easy to purchase guns and other weapons. In addition, the OPC have sometimes seized weapons belonging to the police or to suspected criminals that they have apprehended during their vigilante activities.

In the cases documented below, the victims and witnesses interviewed by Human Rights Watch confirmed that the perpetrators were specifically OPC members, as opposed to other Yoruba. They had been able to identify them in a variety of ways. In some cases, the OPC explicitly identified or announced themselves as OPC. In other cases, witnesses identified them by the clothes they wore: although there is no full OPC uniform, their members typically wear a red or white cloth tied around their head, and wear charms and fetishes. Some wear T-shirts or head-bands with the words "OPC" printed on them. In some cases, they arrived in large convoys of vehicles bearing OPC banners or flags. In a few cases, the victims or witnesses recognized local individuals known to be OPC members.

Most of the incidents in which OPC members have been responsible for killings fall into one of two categories: large-scale ethnic clashes, creating many casualties, or isolated incidents in which individual OPC members have attacked or killed other individuals, for example in the course of vigilante activities or attempts at extortion or theft. In addition, there have been situations where the OPC has intervened or been used in political disputes, such as that in Owo, Ondo State, where it has ended up attacking supporters of rival political factions.

Believe this OP at your own risk.

Yoruba people have no liver to do this kind atrocities, they are cowards. Hausa/fulani kill them and they dont retaliate. This concocted story is a bull and cock tale.

Yoruba are so docile that even Babangida said if anyone woke him to say Yoruba are waging war he would just lay back and return to sleep. He meant Yoruba is no threat to anybody.

It's either IBB doesn't know what he is talking about, or this OP is a fabricator of lies and propaganda against Yoruba.

Johnjustice:

Lagos was conquered at a point, at least the marina axis, down to Island only epe was not. The story of Benin being Yoruba is lies, the Benin ancestry and throne traces back to ogodomigodo, then Ogiso dynasty, far beyond the Oba times. The story of oranmiyan is myth, as no empirical facts, fossils or cultural exchanges were observed to ascertain this. Edo people maintained their kingship, history and culture from ogodomigodo down to oba dynasty, no interference from outsiders till the British came.

Marina axis ke? Where is that? What's the name of the war leading to conquest?
Politics / Re: An Igboman Was Once An Oba In Benin Kingdom(how True Is That) by ImperialYoruba: 6:42am On Sep 04, 2023
phyllosilicate:
On the contrary, Benin Influence has been understated, why did you think Benin republic name their country Benin?

Originally, and before colonial influence, Benin Republic was known as Idaome.

White people had plenty confusion and suffered lack of knowledge about Africa. At one point they believed Benin River entered the ocean at Popo ( Renamed New Port, or in french Porto Novo). So they called the new French territory Benin Republic. Named after the river Benin. When their confusion cleared, which was much later, they realized Benin river was far away. Not to create a new set of confusion they left it that way. Years after independence, the people returned their independent state to the origin of Idaome (Francosized to Dahomey).

You see that Nigeria and Niger were both also named after Niger river. The white man was confused about that as well, when they initially believed River Niger was a part of River Nile.

Another one of their mess up is the naming of the country known as Burkina Faso. They named it after River Volta in Ghana, called it Republic of Upper Volta.

So, long story short, Bini does not possess half the glory wrongly associated to it as a result of ignorance of white people, and also the laziness of black minds who refuse to think independently.

Mrs Odili has followed submissions, presentations and arguments of both sides at the PEPT. If she was still an active Justice in Supreme Court and this petition came before her, the statement she made at this event is a guage of how she would vote. She is convinced petitioners lost the election fairly.

If Obidients have any sense, Justice Odili's summary is a therapy, and a warning against risk of multiple suicidals when PEPT release a verdict proclaiming their candidate a looser.

Travel / Re: 132,000 Nigerians Got Visas To The UK In First Half Of 2023 – Jonny Baxter by ImperialYoruba: 8:10pm On Sep 03, 2023
I don't trust the statement from High Commissioner. How many applicants do they interview per day, and how many out of that are approved? If they approved 132,000 in 6months, it breaks down to average of 1,000 a day. Is this reality? I doubt it.

They know our culture very well, we trust any statement given to us by a white person or from a white culture. They know we will never interrogate to the root of the statement to verify them.

The High Commission is reacting to the biting viral message that shared reality on ground. People on the ground in UK are telling us that migrants are duped into entering UK on promise of ready-to-work and warn people to stop entering UK.

This message means less applications, less revenue to the commission. You can imagine the amount of income to the Commission that will dry up with significant reduction in applications.

The 132,000 approved statement from them is a hook, thrown out to entice more people to apply, a false hope of success.

These Westerners are some of our enemies.

When you are at that level in society, people like Wole Olanipekun should not open mouth and say too much. Their spoken words must be measured, not confronting. At the end of the day the wisdom hidden in it will be self-evident.

But you see people still in their youth like myself can open mouth and speak in confrontation, even use our tongue to start a war.

Where Baba Olanipekun is going is that yamree has destroyed this name Nigeria, and it's time to separate Biafra so Nigeria can bu cured....or if that's not possible, rename Nigeria altogether and redeem us from international humiliation resulting from crimes labeled as Nigerian, when in reality it is Biafra.

Mossadd:
Wike dare pdp because he knows that they are too weak to take action against him,if not that they are too weak how can they allow wike to be doing anyhow without sanctioning him? Pdp has turned to the party of weak old men thats why they will never smell aso rock again because apchit have learnt the game from them and they have mastered it more than them

Very good point. You can reflect on your input to understand why it was a good outcome that PDP lost election. They are weak! We dont want weak party governing Nigeria.

Moreover, Abubakar Atiku lack leadership skills. Under him, everyone in the party is just doing anyhow. He is focused on acquiring the title of President of Nigeria, he lacks competency to lead and influence. A stark opposite of Tinubu, who packs ambition, leadership and influencing all under his arm and uses it to manage and expand.

If Tinubu was the one in Atiku's position Wike would never had left PDP. To stress this point, look at Aregbesola for instance. If Aregbe allies had pulled off a win for APC in Osun he would have demonstrated that he is an asset, and Tinubu would recognize and grab him closer. That's what he did with Ambode in Lagos. They pushed him away...but he turned around and showed them how valuable he was to the party. Without doubt both Sanwo and Tinubu now embrace him.

Problem with Atiku is he lacks capacity to assess risks, to filter liabilities out of his basket of assets before they drown him.

Give it to Jagaban, the master strategist, a eminent visioner.

Can people just be disciplined about their source of income and please honor agreements. This program is called lease-ownership program. For anyone serious and value the govt this is one very good program to applaud. Why are people defaulting in their agreements in the program? Govt can always find replacement operators.

Complaints should not be entertained, the public must stand with the govt on this one and condemn people that were too indiaciplined to abide by the simple rules.

No be everything we go blame govt.

Unperturbedpota:
A lady named Bola A. Tinubu attended Southwest College in Chicago, a 2-year college program. Then a man who claimed to be Bola A. Tinubu appeared with the lady’s transcript to gain admission into Chicago State University, and also claimed to have graduated in 1979. When CSU was asked to share his records, they became defensive and argued that the request was irrelevant for a foreign country’s election matters.

At least, Southwest College shared the SSN, gender, name and address of the student who attended their school as shown on the transcript, but CSU denied vehemently not to have any record of their student.

That’s really what this is about!

You go get sense by force.

For Bola Ahmed Tinubu to pull that off he would also have accessed Social Security Administration office and forge social security number and gender to match from Bola (F) to Bola (M).

Abi una no get sense ni?
