milehigh06: You only suffered in naija because you chose a life of crime, doing yahoo yahoo in cybercafes. Only lazy people will channel their energies negatively while oppertunities stare them in the face. What will you teach your children when you get old? Maybe you teach them that "crime pays". |

daywatcher: Why Lagos? I have never lived in Lagos and dont even like the hustle and bustle of that city, only go there for few days on business. There are cool cities in naija. Have you tried Calabar, Enugu, Abeokuta? |

darozz: Keep trying if thats what you really want. You may try the desert route, walking from Nigeria to Europe with a backpack for company. The determined always win. |

sulad82i: There are no countries where Nigerians are not treated like lepers. Ask those in Cotonou, its not about the country where you stay, its about abandoning a fight because you think the battlefield is bloody and another battlefield will be easier. Thats the mentality I have problems with. |

amor4ce: Sometimes I think about this, some people just think about themselves only. Some stay 19 years without seeing their mums and family, 'enjoying' the London cold instead of helping their mums who saw them through infancy and school. |

Abroad is a huge mirage, those that made the mistake will rather pretend to their friends like a person who married the wrong person, but the truth is not far away. The pictures with monuments they take is all they cling to. |

@redman44, you are right, its not just about not regretting leaving naija, how many of them come back better than they were when they left? Its not right to say you dont regret yet you come back to naija and use my car here and squat in my BQ. Some even beg for flight ticket money to go back. Your 85% stats is wrong, more like 95% are suffering there. |

Horayce: I will never leave naija, unless in a coffin. The type of opportunities I jam everyday is surprising. My tap root is digging deeper into naija and making it impossible to leave. For those outside, goodluck. |

And they go there and continue to loot, steal, hack, dupe, cheat, lie, extort, bribe and sell their bodies? No they better stay here, the ones that ran away should be caught and boxed in containers and sent to Nigeria. |
