Hi Acunon, I have been away from town for quite a while and on my return I discovered that my LG 42" TV and strong srt receiver don't power on anymore. On inquiry I was told it was affected by thunderstorm from the wire connecting the LNBF. The receiver was connected to the TV with a HDMI cable. I bought it brand new at LG office in 2013. Here's goes my questions:
1) can the TV be repaired or it's completely damaged? If yes, how much will it cost?
2) If no, can I sell the scrap, add money and get another one from you?

Note: The indicator light shows when plugged to power but doesn't go off as it should when I press the power button.

I do just that it's blurry on wide screen that's the reason but 480p is always manageable.

It takes more than doing all these to get your phone secured, unless you want to be building the apps and phone you use by yourself, otherwise hackers will always find a loophole if you're their target.

Few more questions you really didn't answer, is your area covered by MTN 4G network, have you tried using another 4G enabled and trusted device to check (say MTN 4G MiFi) and have you asked a friend if they're experiencing the same issue around your area with MTN too?

I will suggest you do a test of the 4G coverage with a 4G MiFi as the ultimate test for confirmation.

First you didn't mention the network you're using, you didn't state if your area is covered by that network and you equally didn't state how you've tried to do adjustments on the settings to that effect?

Answer these, then I can know where to come in.

I bought the PC from US in 2013 for those who myt think it's stolen. It came with Windows 7 PRO, I upgraded it to Windows 10 Pro.

Try changing the USB/Dock panel to confirm your suspicion. I had a similar problem back then when I owned one, the problem started when I plugged the phone to charge overnight, I woke up and discovered it was changing from docking for music to charging by itself whenever a charger is plugged or when connected to PC. I got a new charging/dock panel fixed and that solved the problem.
