You need to work on the images, they either stretched or compressed. You can't really see how good the design is with the images uploaded. I also think you should take some time and build an interface that will let the user design by themselves, just brainstorm. If you can achieve this you'll be really unique.

Hello Jabbi nice one. It is great you built your website from scratch.I notice Nigerians like to play with colour on some websites that needs to be simple but very effective. It is best to always compare what type of website you are building with what is already out there. For example you are building an eCommerce website for a supermarket it is best to check https://www.asda.com/ ,https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/ to see how things are done and take it from there. Except the customer states otherwise.

Also, this applies to fonts too. Try and use fonts used in the more global market.

I have been used to building website using wordpress themes ,here is one of my websites ( https://www.bespokiet.com/ )but now I want to do things from scratch like you. I am getting good at building everything offline. But my problem is how to I connect it to a domain name,so it can be viewed by everyone like yours.

So basically,I need step by step help on how to put all my files into the website name folder. Please let me know if you can help or if anyone can put me through.

yeah why not, just hit me up on chrisunum@gmail.com and i'll help as much as i can.

Nice site, but why not let users add what ever they want to the cart and only requires login during checkout.

thx for the tip, i've updated the site to let customers add to cart without login with the help of cookies, clear your cache to view changes.

Where is the link and what tutorial help you in sharpening your Javascript skill.

I read html, CSS and JavaScript tutorials from tutorialpoint and I also used w3school a lot too. For the firebase they have good documentation on their site and a YouTube channel. To visit site go to grocenda.ga

Nice. Its been long I coded in vanilla js. I use vuejs .makes coding easier and more efficient.

I'm pretty new to web development, I really want to have a good foundation of JavaScript before jumping into framework, but when i'm ready I'll go with react.

Cool, but I can't put items in the cart. Its showing some firebase auth stuff.

what framework did you use to develop it

On clicking add it will redirect you to login before adding to cart, I didn't use any framework actually, just pure vanilla JavaScript and firebase

ok. Actually i hav no job and my chances of getting anything non-menial/deadend is practically zero. I hav accomodation nd some crappy food to eat but nothing else. Broke as a joke.
It's definitely easier if u r eating free food nd not paying rent. Luckily for you your job mustnt hav been 8a-8p jobs like i see over here for some folks. Modern day slavery.
The newboston guy is no more posting on youtube wonder why but theyre now tonnes of other youtubers with tutorials on languages. though (mainly indians). (this unrelated but i'm wondering)So ... Now you are mature are you still on d same job or hav u quit to switch careers (assuming ur job was in an unrelated field).

I have had offers but I prefer doing freelance work, my current job is not that demanding and it gives me some room to do my side job.

What books n resources did u use can u list them. How long did it take you to go from red to green (i.e noob to (Master P the last) Don). Kidding about d master P part ... Share to encourage upstrts like us.

I started by learning html and CSS and JavaScript using tutorialpoint then I learnt java using thenewboston on YouTube. It took me 2 years beause I was going to work everyday. It should take you less if you have somebody paying your bills.
