Thanks for your input, to answer your questions.
1. No change of any of those parts.
2.no work done on the shaft either.
3. The seal is intact, the leakages stop once the inner cv-axle is Puch back in the gearbox. And this stay ok for awhile
You'll need a mechanic to physically inspect your CV axle assembly (rod, cup, head, and the likes), hub, and drive axle.

Sorry it's Civic 06, and thanks for your quick reply. there hasn't been any recent change of this said shafts (Since the pass 3years).
I'll give you different likely cause remotely.
1. If you've changed the front hub, and shaft head (outer CV axle) recently, confirm if your mechanic used the right one.
2. If you've done any work on the car that would warrant you take out the shaft, confirm if there was any rubber or foam in the shaft cup or there was jam nut on the shaft thread. If there was any, then you have the wrong part and your mechanic would have to return those contraptions rubber back to as a temporary fix (do this kazeem style at your risk), or outrightly change the entire thing (an equally risky job for a careless mechanic)
3. Inspect if the seal is bad and replace (another dirty job for a careless mechanic)

Good day oga Gazzuzz and all. Plz am having an issue with my vehicle, the right side shaft head(CV axle) keeps pulling out (leaving alittle clearance) from the gearbox, causing loss is atf fluid. After pushing it back to it place (the shaft head) it will stop the leakage for awhile and later the pull out still occur. Please what is the cause of this pull out and how can it be fixed permanently.
You can as well do well by adding the brand and year of the car.
Possible you have a short shaft rod.

Good afternoon..
I have an observation to share . Hopefully some can help .
Just purchased an Accord 07 model.
I have a complaint about the AC system.
Anytime the compressor picks.. it comes with a violent shudder which vibrates the car seriously..
I'm at a loss cos I've never experienced such high level vibrations coming from a compressor..
The AC chills well anytime any weather .
Just when the compressor picks..
What could be the issue?
Any opinions?
Where is the RPM needle when it happens?

You've answered the question yourself.
Like I said earlier, if you can comfortably afford both, then go for the Mercedes as it gives you more luxury.
Just do due diligence and go with a trusted tech for prepurchase inspection.
If you have none and reside in Lagos, feel free to call 07089030689 for inspection and other car related services.

It's not fair putting luxury and durability in same sentence.

Pls I need help or clarifications on this idle speed of a thing.

After servicing my car few months, my Idle speed has now moved up and hovers around 1,000 to 1,100 when it's fully warmed.

But then, I also observed recently that when AC and headlamp is ON and at slightly high temperature (i.e a bar below the thermostat sign) the rpm will drop down to 800 when driving and 1000 to 1,1000 when in park.

Kindly note that it maintains 1,000 to 1,100 on driving without AC and 1200 to 1400 in park in the morning .

Like I have reported earlier, the only DTC code that is displaying is P0130 and I have been trying to work it out. I bought a new 02 but the code still showing.

Updated.

Cam I set this Idle Speed manually ?
Take a picture of your idle control system and post here so I'll show you what to likely fix.
Also what's the repair history? Did you work on your throttle body recently?

Good day guys,
Please I need your diagnosis,

I have a 2010 corolla that seems to have an overheating issue.
bought it with the fan wired directly so recently I had it reset in July.
now the temperature guage rises a bit above middle point (about 60%) when the engine gets warm,
fan working intermittently as it should, also found out thermostat is missing
scanning sometimes reveals P0128, it comes and goes, the only other code is P0037 - oxygen sensor related

notable coolant loss but no coolant leak, although now that I think of it, I never actually fully filled the radiator since I bought the car late last year.
I also noticed that the coolant returns to the reservoir during sunny days

my mechanic suggested gasket replacement but I want to be absolutely sure it's the cause.

heard about combustion leak test for bad gasket,
where can I do that in Lagos? I'm around Maryland.

Thank you
Start with the simple then move to the difficult.
1. Check your radiator cap
2. Coolant hose and pipes
3. Radiator
4. Water pump
5. Then gasket.

I have w202 C180 with a leaking spark plug wire in the 3rd cylinder that was sealed by a nylon tape. Car drives fine aside occasional noticeable jerks (not all the time) which shows that current is at times escaping or flow of current is being interrupted. As I said, car drives fine. Would you consider this an urgent repair or I can continue to manage the plug wire till I recover from school fees palaver? :'(
Do like some have done and park the car for now till you're fit enough to use the car comfortably.

The swerving is what best describes my situation.. Although, it doesn't swerve per se.. I just feel like the tires are not in agreement.. 🤣 It's hard to explain.

Meanwhile, after fixing a toks O2 sensor.. How long before the ecu adjusts? Although my fuel consumption is balance now.. But I still get a negative LTFT reading.. About -6.7 for a 20km trip.

Secondly, when my front exhaust was leaking, the panel stuffed some net inside where my cat converter should. I want to ask him to remove it.. I feel its choking my engine..

No vex say my story plenty.. As I get your attention like this, I won utilise am well.
So many factors can be responsible for the LTFT value as the computer relies on several feedbacks from various sensors to keep the car running at the perfect ratio.
You might want to look at the airflow sensor and oxygen sensors readings on live scan then compare values with manufactures specs to know if anything is off.

Thank you for your reply. I topped the gas at least 5 months ago, if it were leaking won't it have leaked finish, I don't know. Why I topped the gas then was because passenger side was not cooling as well as the driver side. Now both cool properly when the AC is working. but the cut off still happens,
Get a technician that knows how to use a manifold gauge and has a good scanner to scan the AC system (if it's still stuck and not abused)

Thanks for your response . The new oil {Mobil 2000 5litres) I changed to last week Sunday before traveling from akure to Osogbo, though the car has been used for errands everyday from morning till night since I got to Osogbo. On checking the oil this morning it is now at the middle gauge . Just got to middle. I’m confused and scared at same time. 2 different engineers have checked now and said no single leakage that my engine is in perfect condition.. It will become a week tomorrow since I changed to the new oil {Mobil 2000 5ltrs)
Run a compression test on your cylinders to know if you're burning oil through worn rings.
Also check your PCV system to know if you have a bad PCV. An oily air filter is a telltale sign of excessive crankcase pressure.

The Audi A4, specifically in the B8 generation (2008-2016) and B9 generation (2016-present), has a belt-driven fuel pump system. The serpentine belt in these models powers various components, including the alternator, power steering pump, and fuel pump, ensuring proper fuel delivery to the engine.
I'll appreciate if you add pictures to this claim.
Hope you even know the difference between a cam driven pump and a belt driven pump sef.

Well first of all I apologize if my previous response was not clear enough . Pls Allow me to explain even further.😝

In many vehicles , the engine is equipped with a serpentine belt that connects various components, including the alternator, power steering pump, and in some cases, the fuel pump. The serpentine belt helps transfer power from the engine to these components, allowing them to function properly.

If there is an issue with the serpentine belt, such as it being worn, loose, or damaged, it can affect the performance of the components it powers, including the fuel pump. A damaged or loose belt may not be able to rotate the fuel pump effectively, leading to fuel delivery problems and potentially causing the fuel pump to not function well.

Are we on the same page now ? lol 😂
Mention 1 morden car that has it's fuel pump powered by belt sir.
No morden car uses a belt driven pump. Car manufacturers have switched to a more efficient electrical pump and a combination of cam driven high pressure pump for GDI engines.
Belt driven pumps are for older carbureted vehicles with mechanical pumps driven by the belt.

Yes, a belt issue can potentially impact the performance of the fuel pump, as it is responsible for powering different components of the vehicle. However, a hard steering wheel could be due to a separate issue related to the power steering system, such as a problem with the power steering pump, fluid levels, or a mechanical issue. I generally recommended you accurately diagnose your vehicle to address the problem.
Kindly explain this.

Can a belt cause the fuel pump not to function well?
My Car steering is not soft again. I have checked the power steering oil and there is oil there but the steering is hard when the car is stationary or moving slowly.
There's no relationship between the fuel pump and your belt (except through the alternator which powers all your electrical appliances) unless you wanted to type power steering pump.
If you have a loose power steering belt or any accessories belt as the case may be, you'll have slippage accompanied with a squealing noise.
If it squeaks, then your belt is bad; but if it doesn't then you have the issues elsewhere.

Thanks for the reply, what you said makes perfect sense. But this cut off of the AC also happens when im driving normally, sometimes not even moving. I will have to turn off the AC, wait like 5 seconds and turn on again and it works. On trips I sometimes do this multiple times. I have been managing for months. Since I got the car in February, Ive only touched the AC by filling gas once, coz then, driver side was cooling more than passenger side. When it's cooling, it cools well. Never touched the AC system apart from filling gas that one time
What happens when you top up the gas?
Does the compressor work fine with cool air?
If it does, then you definitely have a leak in the system that needs to be detected and fixed.

Likewise, only a wicked woman will marry a man when she knows she intends to implement a thrice-a-month sex timetable.

God has used orgasm donors like us to save lots of unhappy marriages and it really takes a level of selflessness to be able to do this.

Nothing brings me more joy than giving another man's wife an orgasm because I know that is one less woman considering using Sniper as Maggi for her husband.

1. Open up the valve cover after removing the Intake manifold, inspect the camshafts.
You can also inspect the oil pan or oil sump.
2. It does burn, but not as much as conventional oil as stated, as it requires a higher temperature to do so. Same time if your engine burns synthetic oil, it needs proper work.
Even during oil change after 5k miles, it'll still have that clear oil color, I think I'll start changing it after 10k miles sef.
No be by who told me, I did switch personally from regular to synthetic, and I'm telling you what I observed, you can also do research on it.
The only con is if you're using it on a high mileage engine, and you haven't changed the factory crankshaft seal which is now worn out, it can seep through causing minimal leak, because it is thinner than regular oil at normal temps.
The guy later used 5w 30 semi synthetic which is a synthetic blend oil which is closer to synthetic oil than that oil the other guy was recommending.
And if you did notice, he replied 5w 30 semi synthetic oil is "also good", implying that the 20w 50 mineral oil is good as well but
5w 30 semi synthetic and 20w 50 mineral oil cannot be both good for the same engine as they are way different.

Lass lass be like na Kazeem apprentice full here. grin
I don see why peeps dey fear buy naija used cars

So you're saying you'll have to do all what you stated in your 1st point just because you want to perform an oil change?
Are you a technician or a DIY type?
Also have you worked on any engine and understand how it works apart from what you read online?
