Police will not do anything bcus the big ogas in politics are their patronizers..To discover the dens is not too hard, just use a helicopter and patrol the forest then track any building inside the forests.

Nairaland / General / Re: The Monitor Lizard And Snake Killed At A Construction Site (Photos) by jerk: 3:55pm On Nov 24, 2016
ThePlumbers:
I am a plumber. I have a job going on a construction site in Ajah where I am posting this from at the moment. My workers and I got to the site this morning to start working, one of the labourers who I asked to bring a sewage pipe screamed out like Sango's thunder, I rushed to see what happened, and it was a snake crawling out from one of the 4 inches pipes seen in the picture below. I immediately grabbed a big stone and hurled it at the serpent's head, before I could bend down to pick more stones, other workers on the site have scattered its head in a split second.

Just 5 minutes later I heard the same guy shouting 'obe' 'obe' (Obe is SOUP in Yoruba). I went to see what was happening again and he had killed a monitor Lizard. Everyone wanted us to smoke the rare reptile for some garri consumption later in the afternoon, but right now as I type this a man is negotiating to buy the giant lizard for N2,500. The labourer's daily stipend is N2000. Sellng it for N2,500 wont be bad. But I have told the man to check back in one hour.

But I am thinking, since I am the boss on the site, should I just buy it for like 2k and we all roast it for garri for lunch. What do you think?

Thanks to my Gionee M5 plus for the clear pictures
2k for the two? grin

Nigeria will never develop without the government assisting these kids with such talents. The abound in different tribes and places within the country but our leaders are just selfish. Let it start with the governors by enrolling these kids in the school. They can build schools and hire experience teachers to train them in such fields, i believe we can start producing like china if these steps are taken.

It is better to be left privatised for the following reasons
1. [s]Discos are now more efficient than the defunct NEPA[/s] wrong
2. No more political interference. Not our concern
3. Government are raising more revenue than before. right
4. More jobs have been created. wrong
Politics / Re: Why We Won’t Reverse Power Privatisation – FG by jerk: 3:34pm On Nov 11, 2016
They will not reverse it bcus of the big Oga's that bought it including Uncle Jo..
The Fed.govt. profit more now than when they are controlling the disco's.,remember that they pay their salaries from the federation account but
reversing it will favor the common man or the masses.(An adage says that when u marry two wives u then know which is better). The common man has known that old Nepa is better than this private one reasons.:
1.Electricity bill will be minimal than what we are paying now.
2.The guys during the old Nepa were more considerate than this presents ones working with the private sector.
Everyone thought that wt the privatization that we will start to enjoy longer period of power supply but we are faced with even severe epileptic disease power of the old Nepa.
Going back to the status quo is better for the masses, my thought o!.

Mourinho is one of the reasons I dislike Chelsea as a football club and it started when he took charge of them till present. I think its bcus of his big mouth and boasting and that was equally passed to his players and fans. They are noise makers, rough and eager to fight in slightest provocation to defend their club. U will easily identify them in every viewing center bcus of their attitudes.
Am a confirmed United fan for a long time and our tradition is one of the reason I love the club. The players, fans and managers are responsible and have a good sportsmanship where ever they are upon the clubs achievements in trophies and huge fan base.
The news of Mourinho becoming the next manager wl not be welcome by many United fans who dislikes Chelsea fans attitutes most especially in Africa and Nigeria. Mourinho will now turn United to another agbero club with his huge fans that wl decamp Chelsea to United if appointed the next manager.
Am never a fan of Jose even if he ended up in United and I wish he never does.

i no know for you, i only watched the 2ndhalf of the game and mata played well, Smalling should be made captain. Depay was okay, but his crosses were too heavy and he seems to be relaxed even when we are in need of goals.. Martial is destined for greatness. I won't blame jones though, he was exposed due to the absence of capable defensive midfielder (morgan comes to mind) thats where L.V.G fvcked up and that's where we lost the game.

Does everything ve to be solved by signings??
This team we ve, bar LVG is capable of finishing in the top 2 come May...
Right, we have a good team to win the league only a good manager will bring out the potentials in this players.
Depay will flourish under a good manager that loves attacking football bt not Mourinho. We do rather appoint Giggs on interim for Pep or Carlo in summer,am not a fan of Mourinho and I dont see him doing well in old Trafford. He too plays boring football.

Foreign Affairs / Man Wakeup After Car Crash Speaking Another Language. by jerk: 10:29pm On Sep 19, 2014
Ben McMahon was involved in an accident
that almost claimed his life and when he
woke up from a coma, all he could speak
was Mandarin. He remembers how on
waking up, he saw an Asian looking nurse
standing by his side and told her in Chinese
“Excuse me nurse, I feel really sore
here.” He then asked her to give him a pen
and paper and wrote in Mandarin, “I love
my mum, I love my dad, I will recover.”
His parents and doctors were baffled by his
newly found language skill. Doctors told his
parents that it would be a miracle if he
survived.
“ We got the call from the hospital and
[the hospital staff member] was saying
‘Oh Mark, look I just wanted to ring and
let you know that Ben's actually started
to come out of the coma’...and she
said, ‘I don’t know how to say
this...he's speaking Mandarin'," Mark,
Ben’s father told Channel 10’s, The Project
“Neither of us can speak Mandarin so
we just nodded but deep down quite
concerned about what’s going on.”
Ben had been taking Mandarin in school
but wasn't fluent at the language yet.
“I wasn't consciously thinking I was
speaking Mandarin, it was what just
came out and it was what was most
natural to me,” he said.
It took him about two to three days to recall
his English speaking skills. His new found
language has since brought him huge
opportunities. He now leads Chinese tours at
his hometown and hosts a Mandarin TV
program. He has also moved to Shanghai,
where he is studying commerce at the
University. He is grateful for being alive and
that he can speak a second language.

I hv a golf mk3 which came wt custom 195/50 15 tyre bt I noticed that the driving is harsh and the ground clearance is awful. I changed to 195/60 15 bt noticed a drop in my fuel economy, it touches my arches when I turn the steering to full and my speedometer has changed to greater acceleration compared to what it used to be.
pls shld I raised the suspension a bit and maintain the custom size (it is also scarce to get a new one in that size) or should i raise it higher and go wt d later which is above the vehicle specification.
Will also like to know the pros and cons in doing each one.
