A netizen shared his experience with Nigeria hawkers in Abuja. He was in a generous mood and decided to give back to the society. However, what his eyes saw during the whole exercise left him feeling weak and restless.

Just 2 out of million hawkers.
A larger sample size is more accurate because the study gets closer to the actual population size.

Since you don't have the full T fare go for attachment. Budget 20k or less (attachment is the small chair they place along the walk way in the middle of the bussca bus). Then for accomodations go to your place of worship/church closest to the school. Go to Jibowo or maza maza. Get there by 4pm

Family / Re: My Wife Always Threatens To Leave Our Marriage Anytime We Have Issues by joinnow: 2:06pm On Apr 30
Valoromega:
I've been married for 2 years now with a new born baby. the issue now is that anytime we have issues my wife always threatens to leave.
she will arrange and bag and say she's leaving. this has happened more tha 4 times, basically anytime we have issues as a couple.

She will say she's still young and she can't take any nonsense in marriage, Mind u i have never hit her before so this isnt a case of domestic violence, just normal couples issue.

I'm tired of this and i'm thinking about my options right now, I want to tell her to leave but she should drop my child for me. she can't use our marriage as a threat everytime we have issues
here are some suggestions for addressing the situation in your marriage:

1. Communication: Encourage open and honest communication between you and your wife. Let her know how her threats of leaving make you feel and express your desire to work through issues together.

2. Understanding: Try to understand the underlying reasons for your wife's behavior. She may be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or lacking support. Understanding her perspective can help you address the root cause of the issue.

3. Counseling: Consider attending couples counseling to improve communication, address conflicts, and strengthen your relationship. A trained therapist can help you both navigate through your differences and find constructive ways to resolve conflicts.

4. Setting boundaries: It's important to establish healthy boundaries in your relationship. Let your wife know that threatening to leave is not a constructive way to address issues and discuss alternative ways to handle disagreements.

5. Focus on the child: Keep your child's well-being as a top priority. Ensure that any decisions made are in the best interest of your child and create a stable and supportive environment for them.

6. Seek support: If the situation feels overwhelming, seek support from a therapist, counselor, or support group to help you navigate through this challenging time in your marriage.

Nigeria enlists 120 experts to help develop a framework for AI adoption. The Nigerian government has announced intentions to engage 120 experts, including researchers, startups, and stakeholders in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) community.

Nigeria to Develop a Framework for AI Adoption

The goal is to collaboratively establish a framework aimed at promoting the adoption of AI technology within the country.

Nigeria to Develop a Framework for AI Adoption
Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, unveiled plans to establish a framework for Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption in Nigeria. The announcement was made on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Tijani stated that a National Artificial Intelligence Strategy Workshop will convene in Abuja from April 15 to 18, 2024, where experts will collaborate to develop this framework.

The purpose of the framework, according to the Minister, is to help the government achieve its objectives, focusing on priorities and strategies for implementing AI applications to enhance lives and bolster Nigeria’s economy.

Since assuming office in 2023, Tijani highlighted the ministry’s efforts in advancing AI initiatives. Among the initial actions was outlining a comprehensive Artificial Intelligence Strategy for the country.

The Importance of Leveraging AI’s Potential to Propel Nigeria Forward
Tijani stressed the importance of leveraging AI’s potential to propel Nigeria forward, viewing it as a crucial step towards utilizing technology to boost productivity across various sectors in the nation.

“AI offers us the opportunity to leverage technology to solve some of our most complex and urgent challenges in education, agriculture, healthcare, and so much more,” Tijani added.

Contributions of Nigerians Living Abroad To AI Research and Innovation

Now, the development of the new AI framework marks the government’s continued collaboration with these experts.

In a previous announcement on X dated August 28, 2023, Tijani encouraged Nigerians to nominate AI researchers within and outside the country with experience working in the Nigerian market. The goal was to engage them in co-creating a National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy.

The Ministry has Identified Over 6,000 Nigerian AI Researchers Worldwide
Back in 2023, the Minister revealed that the ministry had identified over 6,000 Nigerian AI researchers worldwide. These researchers are crucial for the nation’s goal of using AI to create jobs and integrating it into every sector of the economy.

The Ministry’s Objective to Leverage AI
The Minister reiterated that the ministry’s objective has always been to leverage AI to enhance productivity through smart infrastructure, a goal that remains unchanged.

Romance / Re: My Back Feels Like It Will Break [PICTURE] by joinnow: 11:28am On Mar 25
FaithELEFAN:
Good morning.

Yesterday, I went to fetch water because we don't have running water in my place. I went with this yellow jerrycan.

After fetching the water, I tried to carry it by myself only for my back bone to make a cracking noise.
Immediately, I dropped the jerrycan and couldn't walk well.

My back is aching on the left hard side and I can hardly work a distance. I'm feeling hurt.
Please what drugs can I take

I also noticed since this issue started, I have been sweating in between my eyebrows and forehead and it doesn't use to happen to me like that before

Please don't say I should go to the hospital now because I can't afford to.
You strained your back while lifting the jerrycan. Here are some general tips that may help:

Medication:
- Over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help with the back pain. Always follow the recommended dosage on the packaging.

Home remedies:
- Applying ice or a cold pack to the affected area for 20 minutes at a time, several times a day, can help reduce inflammation and numb the pain.
- Resting and avoiding activities that worsen the pain can also aid in the healing process.

Monitor your symptoms:
- If the pain persists or worsens, or if you experience any unusual symptoms, seek medical attention as soon as possible, even if it's at a community health center or clinic.

Remember, it's important to prioritize your health, so if the pain persists or if you have concerns about your symptoms, please seek professional medical advice.
