looking to consumate the full range of candle stick for the month of July and probably August ofcourse if market condition doesnt change... grin grin
gauging an entry is the most difficult and strenous part of this thing but when it goes your way far away from entry , then you could go relax and reap the reward later. cheesy cheesy

Lol 4000 pips is like underutilizing my capital for me cheesy cheesy even this 2000 pips which I use is still under contemplation cheesy cheesy but I think with that 4000 pips your account can never get drained which is some how the most important thing ... stil at that this model applies to those who knw what they are doing .. elese they blow their account even with 10000 pips leverage .. grin
Feshizzy:
@Jorel1 a bottle of larger beer for you. grin
Your trading style is very impressive, I understand it took quite a while for you to get there. But that's what someone people don't understand.
Sir Jorel, didn't get there over night.

For me, it's 4000 pips to blow account, till I become very much like Sir Jorel grin

BTW, someone making fundamental and technical analysis is a rare gift. *thumbs up*

@sir Jorel1,like I said yesterday
Gold has just broken the minor resistance at 1325 to target the resistance at 1332
The break of 1332 on gold will give way for 1368 to come on board, then 1400.

*this is not a trade call but personal opinion*
yeah, true..and I don't think gold 'll smell this zone again for quite a while grin

GBP Pairs , weekend gap filled . I think London and American session guys already sent a clear no-go message , and I believe the Tokyo session guys would follow by sending price down further.
Please, dont chase those bullish moves grin grin

You are right, probably decision was as a result of greed , wanting more and more and more cheesy cheesy just an experimental decision anyway .. I would give it a rethink .. thanks for watching my back grin grin

@jorel1 you are making huge percentage gain to your account and now you realized a wide portion of your capital is dormant grin grin I know you have good appetite for risk, but are you sure this is the right move considering the fact you don't use SL?...you are not doing bad with your 2000 pips risk...There is always a first time for any outcome in the market.
Business / Re: Forex Trading Alerts - Season 16 by jorel1(m): 1:11pm On Jun 30, 2016
I dont think GBP pairs can cross current level upside (too much uncertainty in buying).. to much pressure to go down...
.Gold is now due for a buy i suppose , Just bought for long term .. since current level was difficult to break
eyes on SP 500 for a sell.
But Monday is a holiday in the US , so now might not be a good idea to initiate a long term trade on a USD related instrument .
Business / Re: Forex Trading Alerts - Season 16 by jorel1(m): 8:32am On Jun 30, 2016
Increased my risk level from 2000 pips leverage (Not the typical broker meaning of leverage) to 1000 . I realized considering the fact that I take only quality trades, my previous risk mgt model left a wide portion of my capital dormant.so now worst case scenario if I lose 100 pips 4 times (hardly happens) I recover all my losses + 10% bonus in the fifth trade , if I lose 100 pips 5 times (hardly happens) I recover all my losses in the sixth trade, If I didn't lose at all then I make full returns. So now I would have to lose 100 pips like 10 times to blow my account. cheesy cheesy
Hope this helps someone here trading high lot sizes without taking into consideration account equity.
I would post my excel simulation of money/risk management model.
@D1trader waiting for me to post losses to bring smile to his face, sorry its not gonna happen grin grin

Was busy monitoring GBP while the SP500 already recovered almost 80% of post brexit losses...
I believe where the American traders ended price is good spot for a sell entry..
NB don't trade this instrument between 11:30pm ( price halts after American close ) and 1am .. it gaps during this period.. on reopening in Asian .

GBPJPY just added another sell from current price - 3X previous lot size cheesy cheesy... its obvious on the 4HR chart where to SL. presume this to be the high for next months bearish candle. (If compromised then next resell level would be #139.834 zone)

Article 50 go hit you soon grin grin but seriously you are right but as a potential physical investor would you like to do bussiness with the GBP these days or have a stockpile of GBP ?? I guess not.. even you yourself would be scared to change your naira to GBP these days because you might likely be shortchanged afterwards and I guess the same sentiments is applicable to the market.. ..My take is that floor traders would likely send it down further forming another bearish candle for the month of JULY just before the summer holiday then consolidation would occur during the month of AUGUST. followed by a very big sell from the month of September which would continue to the first quater of 2017 during those sell period there would be lots of short term buy opportunity. but buying it now just few days after the brexit shock isnt such a good idea. Although this is just my objective opinion not necessarily correct cheesy
Lifecontinues:
Are you thinking because brexit happened, pounds will continue to fall, hence you want to sell..............If that thought is for today, pls THINK TWICE

I opened my chart today and saw a high tendency of Gbp rising throughout today.

No one gives a fhurk about percentage loss or gain. it's not anybody's business. when he blew about 26% of his account did anybody assist him with cash? if he makes 500% he will equally not share with anyone so what's the point exactly.

posting account summery will only put psychological pressure on his trading because he wouldn't want to look like a failure. weather you agree or not.

besides my opinion is not law but a mere opinion.

BOE pumping more money to the economy would devalue the GBP , GBP becomes too cheap. Even the BOE boss didnt sound so confident as he gave the speech as if someone stood beside him pointing a gun to his head cheesy cheesy uncertainty still in play maybe for a very long time..
harizonal123:
I expect GBP to continue its downward movement on Monday trading sessions except BOE comes to its rescue by putting a peg on it but this is only going to be tempral for some few days before selling resumes. For long term traders this is a great opportunity to sell GBP. Monday could go either way for short term traders that would be coming with a mindset of selling..

You are right, a broker that restricts trading during such event are the types that doesnt want their clients to make money . I think reducing their leverage is more than enough to protect their bussiness and not going too far as to freeze platform..
Karlebolu:

I thought so too.

I believe a broker that isn't bucket shop should protect it's interest as well as it's customers' interest.

All the characteristics some FTraders mentioned up there perfectly depicts a bucket shop.

Let's wait till Monday before I ask for your brokers name.

periods like this you test the reliability of your broker , if you are with a bucket shop or ?? So far mine has been superb..no manipulations , spreads changing but didnt go beyond 30pips , no artificial spikes, no trade restriction . margin requirement remains 1:50. this is good ,grin grin

Will verify this by monday if my trades dont get stoped out due to slippage or spread ...

In as much as Volatility is good , it can wipe your account .. whereby each 1min candle prints 50 pips grin grin .. not entering any trade again ..too risky volatile .. keep GBPJPY and GBPCHF running over the weekend and long term or until volatility subsides... cheesy
