Politics / Foi & Whistleblowers Bills by jorem(m): 2:05pm On Nov 05, 2007 |
Below is an Open letter to the speaker of the House, Dimeji Bankole; "Hon. Speaker we and all the Nigerian people would be more than honored when you fast track and pass the FOI (Free of Information Bill) and Whistleblowers Bill into law. As a symbol of change it would be great if this is the first bill that is passed under your leadership. Finally we believe this will set a new era in Nigerian politics for us and for our grandchildren to come". Is this appropriate for Know, and should it be considered priority? what are the merits and demerits of these Bills? |

tunadel, you may be right, because I perceived he must have being a serious type at school fully devoted to get there, and now he's there. But, he is to deal with some people who may not be well equiped academically but were more knowledgeable in fraud achitecture(distinction). |

That's an interesting news, but what are the nairalanders' perception of the new speaker Dimeji Bankole, being a bachelor(37yrs) and highly intelligent, I strongly belief that for someone at that age not to have gotten married he should be able to handle the assignment efficiently, at least he has no much commitment. |
Sports / Re: Coach Yemi Tella Is Dead!!! by jorem(m): 9:29am On Oct 22, 2007 |
Hi friends, as far as i'm concern this is not the right time to pass unhealthy blame on either the government or any other concerned parties, but should rather give thanks to God that coach Tella lived a fulfilled life. May his gentle soul rest in :Perfect Peace and may God give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of their loved one. |
