The Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal has disclosed how he rejected a bribe from the All Progressives Congress, APC, in a bid to stop him from defecting to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Tambuwal disclosed that the APC-led Federal Government “hurriedly packaged” a road construction project in his village as a way of preventing him from dumping the ruling party.
He made the disclosure at a rally in Silame area of the state while flagging-off PDP campaigns.
The former PDP Presidential aspirant insisted that the hunger in the country was due to the incompetence of President Buhari led administration.
He assured that PDP would win every available position in the state to punish the APC for its hatred for the people.
According to Tambuwal: “When they realised I was about to leave the APC, they hurriedly packaged a road contract in my village to plead with me not to leave. We cannot continue to tolerate a government that has abandoned its people.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has described the Vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as a man who does not have respect for the truth.
Oshiomhole also warned Nigerians against voting Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, a man he said would sell Nigeria.
Oshiomhole spoke on Friday during the official flag-off of Governor Simon Lalong’s re-election campaign, held at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium Jos, Plateau.
The former Edo State Governor also received defectors from the PDP, led by ex-factional Chairman of National Football Association (NFA), Chris Giwa, while chairmen of 45 political parties in the state endorsed Buhari and Lalong for the 2019 elections.
He called on the newcomers to join the re-enforcement of the power of the broom in providing quality and purposeful leadership in the country.

R&B singer, Usher Raymond has officially filed for a divorce from his estranged wife and former manager, Grace Miguel.

This comes after Usher and Miguel confirmed their split in March following multiple lawsuits in which he was accused of infecting people with herpes. But the singer denied the allegations, insisting he had no intentions to cause harm. He also argued that the plaintiffs "assumed the risk" when they consented to have sex with him.

The battle for the song of the Year has been going on for sometimes now. While sections of the media are split in their decision to choose which song banged hard this year.
The fans too. Opinions are divided, everyone argues one song is better than the other and everyone does not come to a consensus and agree on a unified decision which song did well.

Brought food and I eat “we discussed like family, had fun, before bed time, I had only closed my eye for only 25minutes, when I started dreaming about “Uncle Peter”. “Wakeup, its Morning, time to prepare for school” Ohhhhh they just spoilt the fun I was having, I wish I never woke up from that dream, because I had the life, I always wanted, “but sha nothing spoil” I prepared for school, I was happy to go to school,

I was in school by 7:20, at the assembly ground, which seem as if I was the first to be in school, to my surprise uncle was already in school, i was just steering at uncle peter, I don’t know what had gotten over me, I could not explain what I was feeling inside, my attention was not in what the school, was doing, I did not hear a single word that was said on the assembly ground.
8:10 we were all in our various classes, and the most wonderful and surprising thing that morning was, we were having Biology class, I was seating at the back seat, middle role when he step in.

School was over, I waited for him as he asked me, for like 15-20 minutes before he came out, and was walking out of the school compound, he did not say a word till we got out of the school compound, my heart was beating fast, “ I hope am save” that was what was going in my mind, the way you called my name, was disrespectful, no teacher could call me by my name the way you did, you really annoyed me, is it because you paid for the food yesterday, here is your money, “ Am sorry Uncle, it will never happen again, it was a slip of tongue, “ I have heard” but he still insisted I collect the money, which I did for peace to rain, he thanked me about helping him find his wallet, “he was actually trouble about how to get a new I.D Card, ATM Card, and some important code that was in his wallet”, all thanks to me for my heroism, Loizxxxx

My name is Anita, Edo State in Nigeria, but base in the Northern East of Lagos. For security reasons, I am married now with 3 kids and this is my story. I was a 15year little spoilt girl in my S.S. 1, My parent was very rich, my father work in an Oil Company and my Mum works in a Bank. They hardly had time for me, and I hardly see or know much about them, my primary and secondary school days was a boarding school, that was after the Nanny was sacked from work. So after she was sacked from work my parents had no choice than to put me in boarding school because they didn’t have much time for me and the worst part of it was that I was their only child.
At first I was a good Christian who believed in God. So the boarding school where my parents put me was a school was a girl school, there were no boys in the school so I thought that the school was a good one. I didn’t know that I was going to change from a good girl that I was to a spoilt rugged and bad young girl. So in my room I had 3 roommates and me which made us four in number.
They were extremely bad, despite they were older than me, the time I spent with them, changed me, but as a little girl that fear was in me of not showing people of how bad I have become. So I do my things in secret. So when I got to my S.S.1, being a new student was the worst thing that could ever happen, if you are lucky you could make a friend that day, but if no luck comes your way, you meet those who despise you, or the bully type. So I was sitting alone in the class when a young man walked in with an NYSC uniform,
Unknown: What are you doing in class, when everyone is outside on break.
Me: I’m a new student, and I don’t know any place around the school compound.
“He walked close to me and said, I’m Peter, and your biology teacher”
Me: Uncle sorry
Peter: No problem, I am aware you don’t know. Have you eaten anything?
Me: I nodded “No”
“He took me to a fast food joint and bought me food, we charted while we ate, and his smile got my attention. I fell in love with him on our first meeting, after eating, he was about to pay the bills when he realized that his wallet is missing. He was confused; the smile in his face was fading away. I had almost N5,000 with me, so I quickly paid for the food to avoid anyone noticing and avoid embarrassments.
He felt a little ashamed for what just happened. I tried to bring up discussion to cheer him up, he tried to force smile out. So we got back to the school, he went into the staff room and I went back into my class. Approaching my seat, I saw his wallet and was happy to return it. I presumed that this would make him happy again. After the school hours, I went to the staff room, he was preparing to leave, so I called him by his name, the staffs in the office looked at me, and out of anger he shouted at me. I was filled with shame, “I’m sorry I only came to return your wallet which you misplaced; he became speechless
