I find what you said about PHP faulty. It is guys like you that discourage a lot of folks not to learn it. Talking about how PHP is fading and relatively easy like HTML which is faraway from the truth.
As long as website remains, PHP isn't going nowhere.

Here's a survey for you to stop that blasphemy against PHP
he is right, more people are using Nodes Js. It is very scalable and can be used for both front & back end. It is better also than PHP

Fellow brethren, please I own my own firm for sometime now, but I also work for another firm. It is for this other firm that I am claiming my 3 years experience. However, my LinkedIn, Facebook majorly reflect my personal business. So, the question is, do I have to update my LinkedIn, etc with this other firm or leave my online presence like that. Needed urgently please!!

Agreed, a cruise. However what if men too should task women for their time, comfort, advice, direction and security they also provide. Is it not a relationship between two parties or is it a transaction? Is sex not enjoyed by both parties? Girls even like sex more than guys. Will girls love a 40 seconds man, or a man that does not pre-intimacy them before penetrating? In sexology 101 practical class, who shouts:“ Harder, baby!” Do girls please their men in bed? Is it not to lie down while men perform the theatrics? So, guy man, the idea of the guy you quoted is imbalance and if men should bill women for everything they have created, women will never be able to pay. Because men literally singlehandedly developed this world.

Do I still need bank statements salary entry if I can provide payslips?
I think you should not complicate things and make life easy. Elders, please confirm me o, if I am right or wrong.
1. IRCC does not ask for payslips
2. They don't request for employment letter
3. They don't request for Bank statement as per job reference
What they request for is reference letter in IRCC format. Any other thing they later request for, you give for clarification. State one salary on your reference letter and avoid back & forth. Make your application easy for your VO.

The high successes recorded by dubious politicians, fraudulent pastors and ponzi scheme operators in Nigeria are living proofs that Nigerians can be so gullible. We can easily be deceived. The astronomical hype on Canada is the latest deceit in town. Here are things you need to know before immigrating.

1. The list of richest Nigerians is filled with Nigerians living at home. You're more likely to make it into Forbes if you live in Nigeria. At least that's what the stat shows, whether people making into Forbes in Nigeria are engaging in corrupt practices is a story for another day. The odds of becoming a dollar billionaire favours those at home . No Diaspora Nigerian has ever made it into Forbes billionaire list.

2. There are more money to be made in a developing economy than in a developed economy. That's why as you're rushing out of the country, Lebanese, Indians and Chinese are rushing in. Only few will understand. You're sitting on the biggest market in Africa yet you haven't realize this but the Lebanese and the Indians knew this.

3. If you are the type who don't fancy working for others, it's much more easier to own a business in Nigeria than in Canada/US. Western countries were set up for the 99% populace to work for 1% elites. Their education systems were designed to produce workforce for the rat race. Not to create employers of labour.

4. It's stupidity to resign from a high-paying job in Nigeria in a bid to relocate to Canada/US. Your eyes will get clear up when you start facing the hard realities in Canada. Those who had made this mistake in the past are ashamed to come on social media to talk about it. The ones talking on Twitter are 'freshers' who just arrived.

5. If you want to secure 2nd passport for your kids, you don't necessarily need to immigrate to achieve this. There are other ways, one method is overseas child birth.

6. You're 5x more likely to be shot and rubbed in New York than in Lagos. Poor neighborhoods all over the world has more crime rates. The thing is, when you finally made it in Nigeria, you can move to high brow areas with lesser crime.

7. Nigerians are spending up to 8millions ($21k) and above to immigrate to Canada/US whereas an average canadian or American citizen can't boast of $10k in their bank A/C's. They live pay check to pay check.

8. Some Nigerians claims that they ain't relocating because of the money but because of good infrastructure, good health care system, value for their money etc. That's a lie! 98% of Nigerians who're eager to travel out are relocating because of economic reasons. There are good infrastructure, good health care system and value for money in countries like Kuwait, Russia, Brazil, South Korea, Chile etc but Nigerians ain't trooping there, indicating that their preference for Canada/US is purely based on economic reasons.

9. It's cheaper to live in Nigeria. Canada/US promises higher minimum wage but the system will still take it away from you. It's like giving you with one hand and taking from you with another. $2k (N760k) will pay for your one year rent of 2 bedrooms apartment in a good location in Nigeria but same amount will only fetch you one month rent of a match box apartment in Canada/US.

10. This is not to stop you from traveling out but to inform you on the true realities. Economic immigration should be left for lower or working class who're struggling or to young lads who wants to school abroad and thereafter further their career overseas. Not to deceive Nigerians already earning good in corporate offices in Nigeria to resign and relocate where they will be employed as security guards or to deceive business owners who's businesses are thriving in Nigeria to close down business and relocate. Don't let them deceive you with the hype. Money don't grow on trees anywhere in the world.
Have you been to the US/Canada before?

Come back 15 years later and share your Canada experience with us young man cheesy. But when you come back, hope you'd not hide when you see your friends and mates you left behind Progress grin.

Nigeria is a land of opportunities to only those who have the inner eyes to see one. Nothing can ever make me take such a decision of relocating. If you want to go, bye-bye but you'd spot the difference in later years if you choose to remain there . Why not apply same spirit on developing yourself here? Go there for studies and come back with opportunities. I'd like to cite a few examples below on some of us who came back, against all odds.

1- I've been around the globe, even acquired certificates, up to 4 different ones and some training skills in amazing facilities. I came back with an opportunity which is seriously proferring solutions to our problems in Nigeria. No manager in the leading oil and gas company in Nigeria can match my worth...no be bragging matter. I don hobnob with world leaders, including Barack Obama. I'd have regretted it, had I stayed back.

2-Anyone who goes to one of the old generation banks would see an inverter with battery banks on one side of their banking hall, powering their atms... its as a result of an innovation brought home by my uncle. He left union bank for Atlanta in the 90s, got employed at Walmart as stores officer. One day, as he was going home branched at a newspaper vendor( a mexican) booth to read papers as usual and there he spotted an Inverter company located in Arlington. I'm mentioning it as it is so people could check it out. Its called Trace Engineering, later changed their name to Xantrex. He applied to them to be their rep in Nigeria to solve the epileptic power supply in critical sectors but they refused his application for 3 reasons. One, that the product was new to Africa and 2ndly, that being black, it would be impossible to convince his people on adopting the technology. 3rdly, that they weren't ready to expand beyond the shores of America as at that time. He felt disappointed. 2 months later, they called and told him they had reconsidered his application and invited him for 2 weeks training after which he was asked to come to Nigeria with demos to show to his prospects.

Long story cut short, his friends of Nigerian decent blasted him, they said his village people had come calling. He summoned courage and left America with almost nothing. On getting home, he started from his 1-room apartment he left behind. He went to companies, the CBN and other places in government too. CBN told him they had constant power supply with 3 standby automatic switch generators so, they'd not need his ideas. He told them but its free, they now allowed him to install one at their IT dept. 6 months later they had issues with their generators as there were a major power outage from national grid so they over fired the generators. They all packed up within same time. They had to order parts from abroad but then they needed to keep their IT dept running to prevent loss of files. The moment the 3rd gen stopped , all the directors were panicking, rushed to the IT room only to find out that the staff were working as normal with lights on. The called my uncle over, thanked him for saving them a major disaster and gave him a contract to install the inverter on all the CBN branches nationwide. Shortly after that, the atm revolution came and CBN recommended this man to all banks starting from the old generation banks...this man won a global distributor of the year 4 times and was invited with family to the USA for an award each time. His colleagues back then can't even near him in anything. Rather he gives them money on each visit. If you want to go...go and school or you spend a little time and while you're there, study the environment, study our challenges back home and you'd not regret leaving for home ultimately.

A friend is talking with sanwoolu on ocean transport from ikorodu to lagos Island now and discussion is at advanced stage . He's worked with a similar company abroad for some years now and now he wants to tap into the opportunity and the company is ready to fund this project 100%. When you see his private jets or copter hovering ahead of you tomorrow you see him on forbes list, don't say money why...while working in the biting cold over there.

Kenny and D1 would have stayed put and remained stagnated. See the duos balling today. Their contribution to the entertainment industry is invaluable. These are the people we know. There are several other successful guys out there who took a similar decision.

My 50cents had been given...
may u remain here as u wish

Please where can I locate this in my result?

Your response will be highly appreciated. Thanks
Du courage! However, guys let me share one of the tips I was given in my French school: Spread your efforts. C2 parallel, C1 parallel are all good & noble if you can.A B2 parallel is superior to C1/C2s with one B1 or low B2 which will spoil the result.
So guys, let's learn to spread our efforts to cover all the modules. You did brilliantly but you have only 15 pts. Just refresh, refire and try again. All the best !!!!!
Family / Re: How I Met My Wife: Love Is Real by Joshmuch: 10:25pm On Dec 20, 2020
Lovethaa:
Love is a beautiful thing, I still remember the first time I fell in love, I was 28 years old. I have been dating but have not really experienced Love ..

It was a Tuesday and I saw that babe walking by with her friend. My eyes were locked onto her and my senses flown away.

I was admiring God's beauty in a human. Like a man under a spell I immediately left what I was doing and started pursuing this babe like a lion after a prey..

I don't know where the courage came from but I walked up to them and started vibing with both friends without letting them know who I was into.

She got near her house and told me to go back, so I collected the numbers of both of them. Deleted the friends own immediately and saved my crush. Her name was Bukola.

Then my mumu started .. First I bought mtn card 400 to load so I can call her .. at first she gave me tough time , I'll call in the morning she won't pick , call on the afternoon same thing. Then in the night she would pick and then tell me "sorry I did not see your calls "..

Infact when I knew I was in love was the day she flashed me by mistake, I was hungry as hell that day, and me and my friend was already drawing map on how we are going to spend the last 200naira with me.. i'mmediately I saw that call. Hunger flew away . And because I don't have credit to call her back I quickly used the last 200 to buy card so I can talk to her ...
Only for her to pick and tell me "Pls I'm very sorry you're not who I wanted to call "..
I was disappointed but still want to talk to her then she told me "I'm busy right now , maybe later "...

Omo I received insult from my friend tire that day.. infact that momth was hell .. my friend was so angry with me that he called me woman wrapper..

But still yet I love her the same .
One day I texted her that it's mu birthday and that even if she won't call she should at least text me happy birthday..

After about 2 hours she called me for the first time , wished me happy birthday and ask if I'm celebrating it . I told her m not celebrating but I would be happy if she would follow me to a fancy restaurant..

She agreed..

And it started from there. From tastee fried chicken I took her to ShopRite and we did small shopping..

After that day she started picking my calls and I never stopped showing her how much I love her .. I make sure I always send her Good morning and good night text .. I also make sure every time I buy airtime I buy her own too..

But with everything she told me she's not interested in a relationship..

One day I stopped.. no more calls no more text .. o forced myself to stop talking to her .
After about a week I woke up to a text from her that says "I miss seeing your text messages and missed calls "...

I was happy so I called her back and like a miracle she came to my house that day and we kissed .. the whole skyrocketed from there .. after a while she allowed me into her paradise and I realized she's tear rubber .. long story short we are married now with 2 beautiful kids ...

MODIFIED

Marriage with her was heavenly.. I remember I was working at GTBank when we got married, while she works with a private firm...there was no kids involved yet
.
We were so close that you would mistake us for siblings,,we do have our fight sometimes but anytime it happens. She knows my mumu button And I know hers too.

We eat and bath together... There was this time I traveled for a week.. Before I came back she fell sick cos she's not used to staying without me .
Life is so easy with her .My car is her car .most times I go to work with Uber while she drives ..
When I'm broke we eat what we have no pressure...
..

Pls dear youth Love still exists
congrats. You are favoured

Hi guys

So ,I am planning to start learning french in January. For starters ,I will join AF classes and see how it goes. I have zero knowledge in french.Reading through the thread ,I downloaded some apps already .I started today with Duolingo.

I am 26yrs. I will be starting my WES evaluation soonest .I have two or more degrees . The last time I checked my score using CRS tool , I had 464.(IELTS =7.5)

I honestly want to leave naija Jan./Feb. 2022

So ,a part of me is thinking, I should not bother to learn French considering the kind of money and energy I will be putting in or minimum CRS score might reduce

Another part of me ,wants to put in all work and make sure I leave Nigeria lastest Jan./Feb. 2022 (God willing) and besides ,the CRS score might keep going up with different regulations and guidelines Also ,I am not fan of writing IELTS many times (cos , what if one never gets the desired results . English is tricky)

Putting all my conditions and criteria in mind , will you advise me to go and learn French?

Guys ,I need advice from you .I am a single lady.
No short cut to Mapleland young lady. You have age advantage, max out your IELTS and simulate again if you will be in a favorable CRS score. Secondly, get ready to learn French, if you are a fast learner and your number of hours/week in class time is high like 15hrs+ apart from your personal efforts hours, you may need 7 months( +TEF prep). If not then consider more months. French is not a walk in the park either. Both IELTS & TEF are mad. You got to be madder & strategic to pass them. But, babe YOU CAN DO IT. Start with either of the said options and let's see what happens. Cheers.
