This is a very good question. I have noticed too that if youre the type that rarely talks and hang around them, these hoes get very insecure and think you're judging them. It's not a good "place" to be in since you would be kept in the dark a lot.

The solution is to put up a Machiavellian show. Chat with them about those things you know they are insecure about and make them see that you're cool with it. If you keep quiet and don't talk about those things, they would naturally feel you're judging them. Make a few "friends" among them. When the others see this, they too would begin to loosen up around you. You're only doing this because it's necessary for business.
The test here for you would be maintaining frame while you do this.

We do like to think that with the power of positive thinking, a positive mindset, discipline, determination, consistency, everyone can achieve whatever they desire. To some extent it's true but there are more to it.

Genetics (IQ, immune system, facial outlook, height), socioeconomic status, family background, race, country, politics, economy, are an important determinants more than positive mindset on how successful every individuals will turn out. What about unforseen circumstances like sickness, war, natural disasters, fire outbreak, accidents.

This is a sad reality the populations of humans are oblivious to. Humans that are highly successful are those that were favoured on the positive side of the aforementioned factors. The majority at the bottom of the hierarchy always think those at the top got there by a positive mindset which is false.
And after adhering to a positive mindset with nothing in return, many do resort to criminal activities while others finds solace in religion.

Imagine in a third world poverty nation like Nigeria, where the only mode of escape out of penury, pain, hunger, useless politics is via the internet (either for good or bad purpose). What then would have happened to the entire population had it been the internet is absent?

Only few will eventually struggle their way through to the top(even the top got categories. LoL)! While the majority will never make it except by pure serendipity. Acknowledging this with a weak heart can either drive one to misanthropic, nihilistic or pessimistic tendencies.

Positive mindset is good. However, if you eventually get to the top, kudos. And if you never get there, kudos too, you tried even though the universe never favored you.

Normally, I understand why women are kept out of war. This is simply a measure taken to ensure that a whole generation doesn't get wiped out -- a measure taken to ensure a quick population growth after the war. Only few men are needed to impregnate countless numbers of women.
It would be almost irredeemably devastating if both women and men equally go to war, because when almost all the women of a people get killed, growing the people's population again would take ages and they would run the risk of going extinct when you have just few women and few or many men. But that wouldn't be the case if you have few men and a lot of women.
In the olden, this is why polygamy was in fact a necessity. After war, it was a civic duty for the men alive to court as much as possible women.

So, as we can see, naturally, from this reasonable point of view, there can't be such a thing as equality. True equality would lead to extinction.

Now, since men understandably sacrifice themselves during hard times for life to continue, in order to balance things, it is only reasonable that they get a large portion of the cake available during the good times they secured.

The issue now is there are too many sentimental men who choose to put their women (sisters, wives, daughters, etc.) in positions of power forgetting or deliberately neglecting the fact that it's against the natural order of things. Positions of power require people who will be there when it's good as well as when it's tough. Women will be there when it's good but understandably can't be there when it's tough. So, why give them the mantle?
Men get these top positions simply because of the sacrificial responsibility which nature has bestowed upon them. These positions require sacrifice which, generally, women are not made for. I hope men, especially the feminists, learn from the Ukraine war.
