Lots of catholic priests were killed even Pope Johnpaul ii narrowly escaped death.I will give you the name of the most popular one St Maximillian Kolbe.use google and read up about him
Who is the liar here? Kolbe was not killed because he was a Priest. He made a deal with the Nazis to die in place of someone else! True or false? stop spreading lies. |

Henrick007: thnks bro, this is my main issue, am jst dis guy dat My bro, from first hand info, Austrians are paranoid about records! If your friend is legally in Austria, ask him to send an EVE or letter of guarantee for you. Or else, my brother, I will be frank,it will be tough to enter. A couple of my friends has their student visa applications rejected over flimsy reasons. They are very suspicious about your intentions in their country. Perhaps, 123over can throw more light on your case! |

@ Ubenedictus, a treaty is a collection of agreements. The Lateran Treaty of 1929 has a section called the Concordat. It contains deals between Mussolini and the Church. The Church was made a State religion, and Fascism was given a free hand to operate! I dare you to post the contents of the Concordat in the treaty,if there is a single mention of land! It is on record that no Nazi was excommunicated by the Church. I am really sorry for making you to be on Wikipaedia, burning your precious megabytes. When you are free to visit Europe, pm me and I will direct you to the nearest Holocaust Centre for more information. |

@ Ubenedictus, since you believe the hands of the Church is blood free, just Google the role of catholic priests in the rise of anti-semitism starting from Russia,France to Germany! Excommunication was an option that was never followed, even when it was public knowledge that Hitler was a firm believer of Aryan Christianity and Volkism. |

@ ubenedictus, I dare you to name a single Catholic priest that was killed by the Nazis in Germany! Only two "stubborn" bishops were arrested and reinstated due to public protest! I told you to search for transcripts of the Nuremberg trials of the Nazi criminals and read first hand of what happened. Go and read first hand account by Pope John Paul of his experience in Poland. You have conveniently forgotten the ruckus that was raised about Pope Benedict's role in the war,and his subsequent explanation! I dare you to paste the exact apology by Pope John Paul for all to read, and then, all can judge if you are more catholic than the Pope! |

@ ubenedictus, Martin Luther was excommunicated by Pope on what grounds? He challenged the Pope to a debate and pasted 99 questions on his Church gate. The Pope ordered the sale of indulgence, forgiveness of sin by payment of money! I dare you to answer true or false? Is it different from Pastors who deceive their members to "sow seeds"? |

That is the rule, perhaps a private school might accept your documents for admission, but I bet you that when you apply for visa, the embassy will likely reject your documents! They do not accept unverified personal documents,to the best of my knowledge. |

@Ubenedictus,the Charter of Race by Mussolini was in 1941. Right? The ground was been prepared for the Final Solution! Before Pope Pius XI died,he asked the Jesuit icon,LaFarge to write an encyclical letter on anti-semitism. But it was never promulgated by Pope Pius XII,who incidentally was Cardinal Pacelli! Was that also a coincidence? Pope Pius XII is on track for canonisation as a Saint! Who will guard the guards,Juvenal quipped. Only God will save us from men of God! |

@ Ubenedictus, keep blaming Hitler for the holocaust, and not the Church! Hitler simply put into action what the Church didn't have the guts or reach to do. Martin Luther's pamphlet,"On the Jews and their lies" states how to treat them. Hitler followed it word for word! Wearing of badges, segregation, seizing of properties were not Hitler's idea. I will advice you to search for a copy of Luther's pamphlet or Hitler's book,Mein Kampf,or My Struggle! |

@ Ubenedictus, are you wiser than Pope John Paul? Run back to Wikipaedia and study the rise of National Socialism. The Church and Hitler worked as partners in crime! Hitler was always anti-semitic and he never hid it! Infact,he rose to power because he said the Christ killers were responsible for Germany's woe! Did the national boycott of Jewish Business occur in 1941? Did Kristalnacht occur in 1941? The Church gave Hitler international legitimacy. Simple as that! |

@ Ubenedictus, tell us about the part of the Lateran treaty called the Concordat,if it was just "compensation". You can lie to your self as long as you want, but the entire world knows what Fascism stands for. Anelka was banned for giving the quenelle salute! Go to front of the Israeli Cultural Centre and give that salute! |

@ Prince4God, you are extremely enlightened, so tell us the following 1. Was Cardinal Onaiyekan of the Catholic bloc supported by the Northern Caliphate? 2. Did the Catholic bloc try to sabotage the Ayo presidency? 3. Has the corruption-free Cardinal ever asked his good friend, the Sultan,to stop saying that Boko Haram is a product of poverty? 4. What was the Catholic bloc response to Pastor Ayo begging the US Congress to label JNA a terrorist organization? |

@ Frankeinstein08, the facts are there and the jury is out. Back every statement with facts, not casting aspersion. Perhaps, you can explain why the Ahiara Diocese rejected the appointment of Bishop Okpaleke, who was appointed by the Pope! There is trouble in paradise! when you point a finger at others, four of your finger still points at you. When you bend down to smell the anus of another, your anus will be exposed to the view of others. |

@ Frankeinstein08, without research,I know who is Doctor Frankeinstein is, but, please find out what my moniker,Juvante, means in Latin. Been literate does not makes one sapient. Von Papen was not just anybody. He was the most powerful politician in Germany, and brokered the Zentrum deal that made the Nazi Party the majority party in the Reichstag, and stepped down for Hitler to be named Fuhrer. Please, read the book, Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler, and also do research on the Nuremberg trials and stop exposing your ignorance in public fora. |
yeah,I am an ignorant oaf, but please, use Google to know who Von Papen is, and find out who welcomed him on his arrival at the Vatican! Pacelli and other top Cardinals welcomed him! @ Ubenedictus, this is not a contest between denominations cos from your moniker, you are most likely a Catholic. Rather, I will like to correct your sense of history 1. The Lateran Treaty of 1929 was signed to grant the Pope an area of 109 acres in Rome and was paid £30 million. This is now called the Vatican City. 2. On April 7th,1933, Hitler's vice, Von Papen visited the Vatican. |
the pope condemned hitler for racism, he wrote an encyclical on it. Infact the amount of priest killed by hitler was large. The amount of jews the catholic church saved were also large. And lastly while hitler was chancelor of germany, the vatican didn't make any concordat with him. When he started killing people the church was against him. Go and read history well, stop cherry picking.
I dare you to post a single link to any site that says that Pope Pius denounced him. I also dare you to post a single link to any website that denies the dissolution of the Catholic Party by the Pope. I dare you to post the history of the Vatican city! Opinion is free and facts are sacred! |
