Business / Re: Have Funds Or Not To Do Business, You Actually Need To Read This!! (reloaded)! by kayjegs: 9:26pm On May 05, 2020
There are people who would like to be silent investors but they need to be sure of the investment. The investment also needs to be reasonable. In many cases, it is not easy to make a 100% profit in 60 days not to talk of 30 days. I have talked about one of the reasonable investments that one can be a part of and I will like to share it via this link:

You would see the reason for this investment strategy and the modalities. I will add to this thread more information about other investments that Nigerians can be a part of.
Politics / Re: Nigerians Will Pay Higher Electricity Tariffs - FG Promises IMF by kayjegs: 4:28pm On May 05, 2020
This will come with some serious devaluation of the Naira as the IMF always advise. This is not good for the average Nigerian. This is why it is wise to save your Naira in stronger foreign currencies. You can read this post to see my proposition:

It is wise for the common Nigerian to save his/her money in a stronger currency. Nigeria's case is that of someone you have been talking to, to prepare for times like this but never yielded to the warning. It pains me to hear that people have lost their money to depreciating the value of the naira. For people who are looking forward to travelling out of the country or pay for services, and need to maintain the value of the Naira, you can read my post here:

I am a Canadian resident and have been a member of this forum for more than 10 years. I have always been worried about the way Naira changes compared to dollars and it pains me to see that people lose the value when kept in Naira especially if you are interested in travelling out of the country. This is why I thought this will be good for you. This will be helpful to you when you want to travel or change some of your Naira to Canadian dollars now or in some weeks or months' time. Please read the thread below:

Hello, Nairalanders. Currenxbarter is a registered company in Canada that helps Nigerians in Canada to transfer money to Nigeria and vice versa.
You can set your exchange rate yourself and you can also use the company's fixed exchange rate.

Who are the services good for?
This service is good for Nigerians that are processing their permanent residences in Canada and would like to change their Naira to Canadian Dollars.
This service is also good for Nigerians who are trying to come to Canada to study and would want to pay school fees or tuition deposits.
This service is also good for Nigerians who import cars or other products from Canada.

Why are we asking?
We are always sourcing for Naira from Nigerians because we have many Nigerians that want to send money to their loved ones and they need better exchange rates. The rates are good for those in Nigeria and those outside Nigeria. For someone who has naira and will like to invest, there is an investment component. The investment is for a minimum of 60 days and maximum of 180 days.

Why should you invest if you want to invest?
The reason to invest is that you are investing your naira in a stronger foreign currency and avoid devaluation. Your investment stays in your investment account as Canadian dollars. Canadian dollars is a more stable currency than Naira. For example,
if you invest 300,000 Naira, your investment capital will be about 1,050 CAD capital based on 285 Naira to 1 CAD. In 60 days, it becomes 1,197 CAD and in 90 days, it becomes 1300 CAD.

What other advantages with Currenxbarter?
We have business partners that you can take advantage of. The advantage is that you get a discounted amount for their services through Currenxbarter. For example, Canadian registered immigration consultants who can help you in case you are interested in immigration services etc.

What other areas of business?
Currenxbarter is also involved in escrow services for large business transactions for local and international businesses (Canada). We are also looking for Nigerian sellers of items such as fashion designers, shoe designers that we can introduce to our customers in Canada. If interested, get in touch with us.

For other inquiries, please send an email to contact@currenxbarter.com, phone number: +1-306-700-6929
Visit www.currenxbarter.com

You are free to also ask your questions on this page and I will answer the questions on this thread. Thanks and God bless.

NimrodEndOfDays:
2019 and the best policy our affidavit president is to close borders and be chasing people with bags of rice. Many Nigerians are outrightly dvmb and can be manipulated easily. The budget was passed and education was not considered as a project that is worth upgrading and people are here debating smuggling and rice ban. Our senators spend more than half of our budget through reccurent expenditure an people are clapping that Buhari closed border. No one is talking about the debts that this government is piling up. But what we have to show much concern is to close borders. Everyday there is something in the news that makes one wish that Nigeria is destroyed like the cows that were struck by lightning.

One of the few sense-making posts here. To add to it, I don't know how closing the border is helping internal development with the stupid budget being passed. No plan to develop science and technology, no power to drive the economy. Even without closing the border, if power can be improved, one will be surprised at how Nigerians will create jobs (because we are smart), small and medium scale enterprise will increase, agricultural processing will rise, goods and services produced by Nigerians will compete to an extent with imported goods based on pricing. I am more than 35 years old and we have had stony rice (olokuta rice) in Nigeria since I was less than 10 years old and more than 25 years later, people are still celebrating this as if it means economic development. When Japan and the Asian tigers were closing their borders, they did it with strategy, making sure all things are in place to support internal development. Their budget for science and research, as well as education, was very high. Moreover, Nigeria is breaching the ECOWAS contract that the country is a part of and we are here shouting.

Education / Re: Want To Study Abroad, Then Check This Out by kayjegs: 2:12pm On Feb 17, 2019
Hello. I have been getting a lot of requests about people wanting to go to Germany for study and many people think it is free. It is not free technically to study in Germany. Although the schools are tuition free but you will still need to get a blocked account to deposit about 8,000 Euros which is about 3.3 million naira so that you can get your Visa at the embassy. This money is for your upkeep in Germany. So pls understand this. People write me with the view that since it is tuition free, they are not paying anything...No. Let me explain it in a better way: You are not paying school fees but they won't pay for your accommodation and feeding, you will have to pay it yourself and you must show proof that you will pay for your accommodation feeding yourself through opening a blocked account. Moreover, going to Germany entails that you also have a little knowledge of the German language.
Travelling out of Nigeria involves spending money and making sure you have a means of sustaining yourself because the standard of living in the developed countries is high and it comes at a huge cost when spending naira. So pls take note.
The information I have now is that you can apply to schools in Canada for the Fall 2019 (September 2019). You can search and apply to schools now. But, if you feel you can't do it on your own, let me know. I can help you through the process and I take a fee for my services. Enjoy your day.
