As a follow-up to my post about the rumor going around in some quarters that La Casera contains bleach chemical last Thursday, I was invited to the company's office in Lagos by its Management.

While there, I discovered that La Casera is INDEED produced under the highest hygienic standards and no bleach is included in the production process.

“Our integrity stands,” assured the company’s quality assurance manager, Adeku Emmanuel, while taking me on an official tour of the La Casera production facilities yesterday.


He said the company was committed to customer satisfaction, and would do nothing to jeopardise the trust it had built with the public over the years. “We give customers the best quality and that’s why we have continued to grow strong all this years,” he strongly highlighted.

Also speaking during the tour, the General Manager of the company, Mr. Gary Carlton, further substantiated Adeku’s assertion, as he said even the Director-General of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Dr. Joseph Odumodu, who visited La Casera a couple of weeks ago, was highly impressed with what he saw.

Nigeria's Big Brother Africa, BBA, representative in the 2013 edition of the reality show, Beverly Osu has not been feeling well since the last day of the show in South Africa, thus she is presently on admission in a Lagos hospital!
Beverly who returned on Tuesday night was admitted on Wednesday at Faith City Hospital, Oju Olobun Close, off Bishop Oluwole Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
She is said to be responding to treatment. Fellow housemate Melvin and Uti Nwachukwu were some of the first people to visit her in the hospital.

OJB who weeks back had publicly cried out for help was fortunate to receive financial donations from numerous Nigerians including a few celebrities like Psquare (N5m), Don Jazzy (1m), Olamide (N1m), Iyanya, Mercy Johnson, Julius Agwu, Vector, Sound Sultan, Dele Momodu and others plus a whopping $150,000 from the office of the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

A young Indian man got more than he bargained for when he went on one knee to proposed to his girlfriend in a Dubai mall.
He had the setup the right musicians and as they began to play, he took a microphone and said 'I have a very special message for a very special girl. This is where we met three months ago. Stories like this make one wonder why some people prefer illiteracy to literacy and have to be cajoled with money to educate their children - though the present state of security in Borno is nothing to write home about.
Rather than letting children roam about on the streets, the Borno state government is set to introduce a scheme whereby parents would be paid for sending their children to school.
Governor Kashim Shettima disclosed this on Sunday.

Burna boy had arrived PH on the 24th of August, but on his arrival at the city, he tweeted that he was having a bad time!
He decided to stop by at Silverbird Cinema and right there he allegedly humiliated a sales girl.
According to eye witness @DayTheory, musician Burna boy slapped, poured a drink on & humiliated a young girl that sells movie tickets at Silverbird Cinema.
The situation was so bad that cops had to be invited.

Attention guys! Who has the latest rumour news on La casera drink?!
A few days back while stuck in heavy traffic, on my way back from the office, in a bus, one of the passengers seated beside me called out on the drink sellers, she wanted something cold...and the seller offered her a bottle of la casera but she declined "la casera...wetin, abeg sama mi another better drink" and i was like "really" she settled for coke instead. She began telling the passenger on her other side of how la casera drink turns her in the tummy "anytime i drink it, it turns my tummy especially when it's not cold"..anyways, after i alighted from the bus, i got myself a bottle of the drink (though cold) and nothing happened.
Today's incident is what baffled me.
Was at a summit and when drinks were served, many of them rejected the la casera drink, those that had it on their tables already did not touch it and when i was given mine, the lady beside me said, "stop taking it la casera, it has a bleaching substance/chemical inside..." , three other persons confirmed it.
Someone even said "I was at a seminar last week and we were specifically warned from taking the drink...if you notice, mechanics always use it to wash car engines"
Ooops!

A few days ago, Rapper Ice Prince apologized to his fans in Paris on twitter, saying "Apologies to the fans that came out last night in Paris... a better promoter will put up a better show soon!!"
