As long as you keep having scan at different times, it will continually give you different dates as there are different measurements that are taken like weight of baby, crown to rump, head circumference etc . A life is growing inside you , there are various factors affecting the growth, off course you don't expect the dates to be constant. Google more to get more info. Stick with your lmp. If your lmp was march 21st , then edd is dec 26th 2016 and you are 20 weeks today while if it is 27th march, edd is January 1st 2017 and you are 19 weeks pregnant . Your baby is growing well and how can you even think of reducing its weight. Your worrying is on another level. You are still within the + or - 2 weeks range. Keep calm and look forward to a healthy and happy pregnancy plus a safe and sound delivery. Xoxo

Jaysmama, i can't imagine what you went through. It is mind buggling when most cases are referred to GH despite their laissez-faire attitude of some doctors and nurses there.
I think they are so used to seeing terrible things to the extent they have gone emotionless.
Just take heart and know that you have got an angel in heaven.
I pray for every mama here that God will cause the right people to attend to our delivery.

@ tipsyjules , there are great hospitals in Abuja. Depends on how you are ready to spend. Had my two kids at Nisa premier and Arewa clinics both at Jabi. Both were great but get ready to spend cash.
That year , i paid 100k for antenatal + 100k VD + additional expenses that came up later. I didn't have any episiotomy nor any complications whatsoever. I don't know about the price now at Nisa Premier. This was in 2010.
I decided to give Arewa clinic a trial but still spend money sha. Over 300k for antenatal and VD. No complications at all but had episiotomy.
Both hospitals were great but ....
Had my evacuation at Federal staff hospital, service was okay, fair price and plenty equipment and hospital looks modern.
For this pregnancy, feeling like an old customer and kinda have idea on what to expect. Told myself, i am not going to spend such amount when you will labour and deliver by yourself. I registered at Maitama general hospital, so far it's been great but the crowd no be here as you have to be there by 5am inorder not to spend a greater part of your day there.
For me , antenatal and delivery fees is like free for me. So i stick with this one though hubby is still contesting.
Garki hospital is good too. Have friends who have delivered there. So make your choice.
Welcome to Abuja. Spend sometime and you won't like to live anywhere else. Trust me.

God has been too good to me in this pregnancy despite my first trimester bleeding issues.
I prefer this 2nd trimester over to the first when i had bad morning sickness. Though i feel tired too easily and sour oral taste sometimes.
Eating like it's going out of fashion . Not showing yet despite it's my 3rd but feel little flutters once in a while. In all , i thank God.

Here's my update:
I went to another hospital today to seek a second opinion as advised by some great mamas here.
Ultrasound scan was carried out, baby is in perfect condition estimated gestational age(EGA) was one week ahead sef, internal cervical os closed as against the last report. Bleeding has finally stopped.
Just help me thank this great God because with the amount of gush of blood i had, 4 full pads in less than 3 hours with clots fa. I concluded it was over.
There's no customer in pregnancy and child bearing. I had my other kids with ease and i thought it's normal not until now.
Please let's keep praying for ourselves and not take God's grace for granted.
I wish everyone of us a happy and healthy pregnancy and delivery.
About to conceive mamas, you are mothers already. God will bring it to physical manifestation and all will rejoice with you.
To the mamas that gave suggestions to me , i love and appreciate you. You have no idea what you have done when i was so confused. Pls let's continually help one another here especially those with questions relating to health issues, you provide a great support system and do not know how far it can go to providing succour.

I went back to the hospital to discuss cerclage with them, he said no. Though the bleeding has stopped. He did a VE and said cervix is closed though scan said slightly opened.
Will definitely seek a second opinion in another hospital. Thanks all once again.

Pls house, help me on this one: Went to A&E today after changing 4 pads in less than 3 hours filled with bright red blood and clots. Did scan , baby is doing great but my cervix is slightly open at almost 12 weeks.
I have googled and didn't get satisfactory information. Doc said threatened abortion, given pcm injection and some antibiotics.
Who has experienced this, what is causing this and what should i do. I have been placed on strict bed rest. To see doc in two weeks. Pls don't look and pass.
