Sorry Sobastical but ETX-NG is a company that orders Transcripts for students from their schools and send it to anywhere in the world. So I just wana know if they are dependable. Ofcoure only those who have used their service before would have an idea.

You will definitely get a job. Am working and schooling. But the money isn't much as their cleaning jobs start from 2.80 per hour and other forms of jobs from 3.50 to 4.0 per hour. It's lower than what they pay in Finland and Germany, that's why some people are condemning Estonia . If your purpose is to study and continue your journey henceforth to one of the big schengen states, it worth trying. But be legitimate when you are here.
I thought people who have issues with applying or processing visa will come online, but since they are OK let me keep my pen. Georgia as a port of entry is not an option again. Aitah!

Hi Uzhi...good 2 knw u r working &schooling @ d same time @ least u won't av 2 bug ur folks back home that much. I'l like to know how many hours u work in a day considering the amount that is paid (2.8-4/hr). Thanks

yes they verify your certificate and transcript in there verification center called ENIC-NERIC IN ESTONIA

Pls I wnt 2 knw wt dey actually verify in d transcript. Isit ur CGPA as documented in it or weda it was sent in by your school. My reason for asking is because I knw a friend who was privy to the contents of his transcript and reproduced it witout altering any info in it. He did dis 2 save d outrageous fees associated wit paying 4 transcript in his school. He however got his admission & is doing well now.

@ Uzhi & al hu r in esti, pls help a brother wit this question...
Do skuls in Esti verify transcripts & how do dey do it. This is because my school is so not bothered about anything that they won't even process ur transcript and send out in good time talk more of responding to correspondence should they receive any from a verification team abroad. So I nid 2 knw hw skuls in Esti go about ds so d@ dis prblm of d skul doesn't affect my chances of bin admitted.

Yes, I am in Estonia. The name of my school is Tallinn University . Thanks @ Omitobi for writing about why I decided not to contribute again on nairaland . A nairalander rained insultive and derogatory words on me all because I couldn't give him the information he needed at appropriate time, not minding whether am battling to settle down or not.
Estonia is actually cheap to live and study, depending on the definition of the word CHEAP. What I will say is that, there is two types of Estonia. The Estonia they told us back in Nigeria and the real Estonia . Do not be scared, it worth experiencing. Since am surviving here, any naija can ! But you need to be yourself and choose friends wisely.

Hi Uzhi, I wish to apologise on behalf of the person who rained insults on you, please forgive & forget. It's one of those things in life. I must tell u that u have more friends here than foes so let that be ur consolation. Don't 4get also that God has put you in a position now where a lot of people will be needing your invaluable contributions as far as studying in Estonia is concerned so for the sake of them temper justice with mercy. I wish you all d very best in ur academic pursuit. Looking forward to coming over next year God willing.
Regards.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Jobberman Professionally Written Cv-share Your Experience by kenlouis(m): 10:46am On Aug 31, 2015
Stories of the heart...
PLSHELEP:
Before i begin, I have not been paid to write this, in fact i have paid for one of their CV writing services.
I would explain my reason in a bit.

When i received an email from the David Makinde, I was convinced it was not a scam as i had a thorough evaluation of my present CV including the results obtained after running it through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Did my research to know what an ATS does, and it turns out an ATS which is widely used by hiring managers to manage recruitment and filter through CVs for keywords.

My CV had not hit the nail on the head with respect to keywords needed to land my choice of jobs. I also found out sending my CV in a PDF format which in my opinion was professional, turned out to not be liked by most hiring managers as most prefer word documents which I don't like because it disorganizes my page layout and formatting when they receive my CV depending on what version of Office they use.

I wasn't just convinced by these, I asked the client to give me more reasons why i should pay for any of their services. I did this to ascertain I was in contact with a human and i subsequently received a response which was convincing to an extent. I also did my research about the service, reviews and testimonials, and noticed many of the people's name who paid for the service looked and sounded foreign, specifically American (Trevor, Karen, Ron, Leslie)

Also, I once received a mail from a David Masinde, which is different from Makinde. Could have been a simple typographical error except s and k on the qwerty keyboard are far apart. Which means the David Makinde name is a front to make it seem as if a Nigerian is the one in contact with you. This doesnt take anything away from the quality of service they should offer, but shows they are trying to make themselves look Nigerian and in turn attractive to the Nigerian market.

Anyway, after making my decision, I paid for the service and received a mail from a certain Katie Warren even though my mail was sent to David. Finally, my suspicions were valid when I discovered that the jobberman cv site has the same layout with topresume.com as one of my links was redirected there.

Like i said earlier, These should not take anything away from the quality of service they should provide or if it does, I would find out tomorrow as I'm to receive my written CV.

Suffice it to say that although my CV was good and I think i've got good grades, the ATS is an issue in Nigeria as many hiring managers wont be able to skim through CVs which might not even pass not a 30 seconds test but 20 seconds (because for Naija we no get time for rubbish), and that's why I have paid to have mine written.

Last point is, how much is 10k to put your foot in the door and get yourself a good job. i would say it is an investment, definitely not for everybody but if you're able to afford it, I'll encourage you to do it.

In life, we pay a lot for assurances.

Vicjustice:

The question that you should be more concerned about are these:
1) Is the sponsor your own parent?
2) If no, why is he sponsoring you and what would he gain by sponsoring you?
3) Regarding business account, what has your education got to do with the business?
4) Did you even read the opening post of this thread at all before asking your questions?

VicJ: I read it sire...d sponsor in question is my parent & d account is not a biz account as such, its a personal savings account. I just want to know if it will be regarded by VO since it has the required cashflow. Thanks
Travel / Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by kenlouis(m): 2:09pm On Jun 16, 2015
Dear Vicjustice,
I want to apply to the Belgian embassy for a student visa and one of the requirements is that my sponsor will show a proof of about €519 (116,500) i.e 'The sponsor has to be able to provide the student with 519 Euros per month'. My sponsor however has an active account with which he transacts business on a monthly basis in excess of the required sum. My question: will his statement of account be accepted since the required sum is not stationed in the account. The account however shows an active cashflow in excess of the required sum.

How many times did I call U guys
So because of your so called nonsensical quota system, I was not short listed even after scoring 68%. A whole masters degree holder in criminology, with various foreign certifications in crime and security. Well, all I can say is that your security department lost out this time...
However for all those who made the list of Graduate Security Officer(GSO) I say congratulations...

Hi NLers, its quite unfortunate that some persons have have taken it upon themselves to broadcast spurious claims of having the materials for the NNPC test but have chosen only to release them when money is been paid to them. In as much as it beats me that these sorts of criminal tendencies/elements exist among our youths in this time and age, I beg all concerned not to cast aspersions on anyone but rather do all you can not to allow such claims or discussions take us away from the focus of discussion which is about preparing for the test and the test alone. I however urge all NLers not to give in to such cheap claims and avoid being victimized by unknown persons. A word is enough for the wise.
