Hey bro. Care to share some valuable tips that helped in achieving this feat?

I would say this thread has a great deal of invaluable tips already.

1. Have that desire and passion

2. Pursue that desire and passion with all it takes knowing that God has instilled in you what it takes.

3. Understand yourself(how your brain and body works). This could be in terms of understanding.

4. Learn from anyone and any of legal available means.

5. Neglect nothing in this race. One of the times I neglected something (a class) caused me to get a C instead of an A.

6. Have friends of the same goal or higher than yours.

7. After trying your best, leave all to God through your means of communicating with him.

Note: please explore other tips on this thread and other threads to get what yours exactly is.

Good luck bro and I hope to hear from you in the nearest future.

Good day sir!

It's been quite a while even though we communicated in my earliest years.

By the grace of God, i have achieved that feat.

I finally Graduated with a 4.85 out 5.00 CGPA in Mechanical Engineering.

AloyalNigerian:
Hiii!

So, I've been meaning to do this since last year but I just kept putting it off. I'm sorry it took me this long to update everybody who contributed to this thread.

First off, I really appreciate everyone of you for your kind words and encouragement that year. It was just the motivation I needed at that time. I can still remember, clearly in fact, that night while I was in night class when Ymodolus freakied my account grin. I will never forget you and I really hope to see you one day.

I actually graduated with a first class last year (4.56) and the best graduating student of my department. I was really happy. Hold on. Before I graduated, I got a fully funded scholarship for my MS here in Texas and I travelled in January. God, y'all, and my first class helped me to secure that scholarship.

Even before I left the country, I was working in a 'mouthed' agency in Ikeja as an intern using the skills I learnt along the way. Last year was just so surreal for me. Everything happened so fast.

Well, now that I'm here in the states grin, doing my MS and enjoying every bits of it, I will say this: Whatever you find yourself doing, do it very well. First class or no first class, what life rewards is your tenacity, commitment, and attitude towards work. This is my experience, and I can tell you it's valid.

The journey is just starting for me and I intend to maximize this opportunity and put in my best to create the kind of future that I desire.

Thank you very much:

You didn't quote me. Although I just registered myself presence as I was in my early year of study. You can check my comment in the first page of this thread.

Congrats bro!

I also graduated with a First Class, 4.85/5.00 CGPA in Mechanical Engineering from one of the oldest Federal Universities.

Okay.

Thank you.

ezenwaez:

You are strictly advised to hold on, the non graduate category physical verification have not started yet, even if you see your physical verification venue displayed, of which it will not display, your physical verification will be done at your training centre, if I were you I wi always check both the verification page and the deployment page of my nasims self service portal, non graduates will carry out their physical verification at their place of primary assignment which in the case of the non graduate category for now is your camp training centre, your training will last for three months before your final posting which is 6 months, just see your category as NYSC camp training.

You have done well in your epic replies to my questions.

That means OND applicants also fall under the non-graduate section?... This question will help many of us :as it confuses us.

Physical verification for non graduate have not started it will be communicated you cannot change your training centre.

Thank you sir!

What about someone who applied with OND, N-Tech precisely and he saw his verification venue displayed on his dashboard, is he to go for the verification?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Npower Batch C Stream 2: How To Check Npower Shortlisted Names by kennyjam: 10:45pm On Jun 18, 2022
ezenwaez:

You will be trained for three months and you will be given training allowances circa ₦42,000 either at the beginning or at the end of the three months camp training, after the three months camp training you will be given tool kits such as laptops and other tools that are suited for your six months apprenticeship, the non graduate category is also a very nice category, during your apprenticeship you will be paid a monthly stipend of ₦10,000 and you have better opportunities.

Thank you sir... Well-explained!

Those with this OND and applied N-Tech will also be going for the ongoing physical verification?
If yes, can they they redeploy to another place/sstate after the physical verification for their training?
If no, can they change the training center to their choice place/state?

Sorry for the numerous questions.

Do not do anything just wait for your physical verification venue to be displayed that's all.

Please OND holders fall under the Graduates?

What are the benefits of an OND N-Tech Beneficiary?
