Please it is not everything that is cast in stone, any fund transfer person will attest to my assertion that NEFT can be done same day. They usually add early morning batch to the previous evening's batch if any for processing.

True NEFT can enter the same day. But it has to be done very early. Usually it is for next day. Once it gets to 11am above it falls to the next day. Truth be told there are 2 reasons pple opt for neft
1. Transfer limit on NIP is far lesser than NEFT, so if u have exhausted ur limit on nip u use NEFT.
2. Becos it usually drops the next day, u can stop the transfer before it hits the beneficiary acct. Basically for recall purpose.

This particular person used NEFT (Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Electronic Funds Transfer), which is T+1, i.e it will take 24 hours or more to reflect in the recipients account.

So technically, no new transactions have been posted yet.

Kindly Correct me if I am wrong, I noticed during the CBT invite, pple got it on a particular day, I dnt think anyone got it the next day.
Also for the interview invite am not sure I know of anyone who didn't receive it on d day It was sent and got it another day.
If this tfare was in batches I expect some pple to have collected today also.
We can only be patient and see how it all pans out..

but this logic doesn't hold bro. For this recruitment, a budget had already been made for such expense. NNPC didn't sit to decide just after the interview whether or not to pay travel expense. It is typical of most companies to only reimburse travel expense during interview stages of recruitment. More so, in their thinking, they didn't really have to reimburse anyone for travelling during the aptitude test as they (NNPC) had made efforts to conduct the CBT across the country with proximity to places of residences of the applicants being put into consideration.

I really think we should stop this whole speculation of alert - APL relationship. The anxiety being created is uncalled-for

There is no law in Nigeria that says everybody must be paid tfare for an interview. Nnpc reserve the right to do as they please and u can't take them to court. Whether budgeted or not. If they decide to pay those Dat didn't get APL and dnt pay those that are employed, there won't be any litigation. because all have been compensated.

In my opinion, there shudnt be any correlation btw tfare and APL. I believe names and account numbers are still being sorted out and more might get the alert as the week goes by.
However, if by the end of this week, no new person in this forum or friends outside this forum gets an alert, it may be tempting to say, the way of the access bank scenario may play out. Not to give any person panic attack.
Times are changing, I have been in the business world for quite a while, it can make economic sense not to pay those pple u are offering the job to. While compensating those dropped.

The account numbers where were hand written and not on a system. There would have been enormous work to differentiate those that are successful not to pay and vice versa. If at all it will be so, then we cudnt have started getting alert by today for a process that ended last week Thursday.
