Politics / Ogba Police Is Harassing Innocent People by Keziah(f): 12:36pm On Aug 29, 2007 |
Nigerian Police (s) Need Re-orientation Help! Help! Help! Recently the some officers from Area 'G' Ogba Police Station has turned Cybercafes to their hunting ground. They are harassing the innocents inclusive, no questions asked they just point people and cart them away. What has students that are filling their post-jamb form (Unilorin) and job seekers that are posting their CV got to do with Cyber Crimes? These men came and bundle everybody in the cafe to their station at Area 'G' Ogba, and everybody has to bail themself out with N5,000.00 each. If u fall a victim will u ever go to the cafe to do anything again? These people are really making life unbearable for people now. She make man pickin no go cafe for any reason again? Tell me what kind of orientation do the Nigerian Police have? Were they not supposed to protect the innocent and arrest the guilty ones? I am at lost at their behaviour of recent. Please if there is any Human Right Lawyer out there, please come to the aid of the oppressed from these power/money starve policemen. Please the I.G of police, please look into this matter before these men kill the people they were suppose to protect. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! |

Politics / Governor Fashola Offer Legal Aide To Arrested Victims Of Indecent Dressing by Keziah(f): 10:12am On Aug 28, 2007 |
Governor Fashola Offer Legal Aide to Arrested Victims of Indecent Dressing reported on LTV News at 10 am today. Were you a victim of Indecent Dressing? You can as well contact the man for free legal services against the police force or whosoever ordered the arrest. We just have to stand up for our right rather than being cowards for once. I was among those that lambasted the Governor for such a act, but if he says he is not behind all these or in support of the whole act we can as well prove him wrong or give him the benefit of doubt by coming out in public to sort out all the misunderstanding. Or am i the one misunderstanding the information? |

@ Kemjisuper Personally, I'm enjoying the sight and sounds of corrupt ex-governors behind bars. The rest coming in won't be as daring in their bad deeds I tell you. But only time will tell if it's all for real. Bro i dey laugh here! How come no body is probing Baba Iyabo? I guess the man deserves behind Zoo Bars as a sentence pronounce on him. (Personal Opinion though) |
Education / Satelite Campuses/Annexes Ilegal? by Keziah(f): 10:53am On Aug 14, 2007 |
I was told by a guy that Satelite Campuses/Annexes are illegal and that Government owned organizations or multi national companies would never employ someone that graduated from all theses satelite campuses. This is not the 1st time i have been hearing about such but I don't know how true this is. It will be greatly appreciated if i can get all necessary info on statelite campuses. Is there anyone that knows if this is true, or have any other releveant info that will be useful? |

Religion / Re: What If Another Jesus Comes Today? by Keziah(f): 10:18am On Aug 11, 2007 |
pilgrim.1:This is really unbelieveable! This is the first time i am hearing of this. Some people might find this post riddiclus of funny. but it came to my mind when i thought of the likes of Rev. King (late) that came destroyed and misled alot of people. Even with all the attrocities he committed all in the name of religion/christianity alot of people blindly followed him. I then wondered if a man that committed alot of evils and unjust towards his fellowman was greatly reverend, how much more of one that will come and do alot of miracles and wonder claiming to be Jesus himself? Well, the bible says we should know the truth and the truth shall set us free. We should then hold on fast to the truth we know today to guard us against the lies of tomorrow. |
Politics / Re: Lagos Girls Versus Governor Fashola by Keziah(f): 9:50am On Aug 11, 2007 |
Talking about police arresting men wearing earings and dreadlocks, i think it's only all these omo-aje pako(the poor in the society) that they are arresting. If they really think they mean business and they know what they are doing is legal, make them try go arrest Charlie Boy first and if they succeed without making a big fool of themselves, i guess by then we all will comply and mellow down. What do u think? |
Politics / Re: Lagos Girls Versus Governor Fashola by Keziah(f): 9:40am On Aug 11, 2007 |
@ Kitaun I wonder why all the noise now that its all about ladies do u know how many helpless men get arrested nightly with Policemen going around in seized commercial buses to raid their victims? and this has been going on from time immemorial What's the point? Since u know very well how the policemen harrass and raid innocent men, then why extend the same treatment to the ladies just in the name of indecent dressing? Can u rightly define indecent dressing to the whole public? Indecent/decent dressing has no boundary, what might be decent to another person might be indecent to another. So if the goverment want to now enforce a law about indecent dressing to the public, i think they should first defiine indecent dressing to the public. U can't tell me i disobeyed the law without telling me what part of the law i dsobeyed. Simple. @ 50kobo there are numerous problems in Nigeria and it is sad that ''indecent'' dressing is a priority! True talk my brother, i am surprise that he is a SAN and he still don't know how to set his priorities. The man should tell us our boundary as to what indecent dressing is. What portion of arm should i bare, what portion of my legs i shouldn't show or what portion of my chest shouldn't be bare? The man should come out and inpublic and enforce that as long as it don't contradict the Nigerian constitution as long as Democracy is concern. @kitaun) Re: Lagos Girls Versus Governor Fashola Kitaun u can as well tell us how much efforts and man power he has put into place to solve thses listed problems. The only one we know of that is only effective is the issue at hand. |
Politics / Re: Lagos Girls Versus Governor Fashola by Keziah(f): 1:33pm On Aug 08, 2007 |
Pls someone should put me right with this. Is it true that ladies are also being arrested for wearing trousers and knickers? I heard they are also being arrested because of that in my vicinity. The other day in my compound, two parrents were burning their daughter's clothes: the ones they assume would warrant an arrest (trousers and knickers inclusive) and their daughters were battling with them to save their clothes. When i asked them what was happening, they gave me the story and also told me that, they said if one is arrested and anybody comes to the rescue such will also be arrested. So pls people i want to know if this is really true before i make my comments. |

Hey all! thanks for your answers and opinions. But the question still remains what will u do? What will be ur reaction? Posted by: AprokoUr I.D. suggest ur answer. I would have prefered if u read the post properly before u make ur snide remark. I said what if another Jesus came and did something more spectacular than the first? After all, u weren't there when the 1st one came but u are here to witness this. What if he told u that this was his appointed time and that the other played a fast one on him just like Satan the Devil did in the Garden of Eden. Will u beleive him or stick to the truth u know? Simple as that. Honestly i have been thinking about this for long and i will really appreciate everyone's opinion. |
Politics / Re: Lagos Girls Versus Governor Fashola by Keziah(f): 2:56pm On Aug 07, 2007 |
I just think Fashola should look into this matter more critically. In a state like Lagos we already have enough trouble so far, but if he persist then we are in trouble because if this directive succeed the next thing he will be after is arresting ladies with bleached skin, artificial nail, artificial hair (Weaveon and the rest), artificial make-up and etc and before u know it we become as natural as the original Adam & Eve in the garden of Eden. By then we won't be practising Democracy any longer but Naturalism |

I did say she is Playing hard to get, and also not wanting to commit for now. With the hig rates of heartbreaks and dumping nowadays, i guess a wise guy will no how to play her game without getting herself into trouble. So i guess she needs some time to be sure that's for real. |
Religion / What If Another Jesus Comes Today? by Keziah(f): 3:52pm On Aug 06, 2007 |
What if another Jesus comes today? I keep asking myself, In Matthew 24:4-6 , Jesus said "Watch out that no one deceives you. vs 5 "For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,[a]' and will deceive many." What if someone comes and claim to be Jesus and that the other one (JESUS) that came some years ago was a scam. He then performs miracles and wonders, will u believe him or not? WHAT WILL U DO? |
