The National open university of Nigeria, NOUN, which is located in Abuja has done matriculation for over 15,000 newly admitted students on Saturday, June 13th but the matriculation ceremony was held online by the institution following the total lockdown arising from the COVID-19 outbreak in the country

the commissioner of education Mr. Godwin Amanke in a statement said that students are mandated to wear nose marks and face shield to school also once your kids get to their school gate they should wash their hands and feet and hand sanitizers should be made available for use when the students get to the classrooms they will remove their nose masks and use their face shields in other to get enough ventilation

The 20th festival of sport which was originally meant to take place in the University of Benin (UNIBEN)  in March through April 2020 in Benin City, Edo State, now has a new date the new date for the multi-sports competition tagged Edo 2020 



Mr. Tony Okowa the chairman of the 11 man committee set up by the sports ministry to find a new date for the national sports festival has announced the new dates on Friday in the company of the Edo State Deputy Governor Mr. Philip Shaibu who is the chairman of the local organizing committee



The 11 member committee is made up of members of the Covid-19 task force (NCDC), Ministry of Health, Agency for disease control, Commissioners of Sports from the six geo-political zone who are mandated to oversee the national sports festival that will kick off on the new dates set by the Ministry of Sport in Uniben which is to take place from.....kingschools.com.ng
