The people gave you half-baked truth. My search into direct selling led me to know that QNET has been in business since 1998 and does have a global presence in more than 25 countries and customers in nearly 100 countries. It is also a member of the Direct Selling Association, a self-regulatory industry body with strict rules and codes of conduct in several countries.
It is, however, essential to note that QNET does not offer jobs or travel opportunities in exchange for payment, as you mentioned here. They only reward you with a commission as gratitude for introducing others to purchase their products too. You do not need to pay anyone to buy your products for you, nor do you get a commission if no product purchase has been made or recorded. I’d advise that you get the name of the distributor trying to register you and verify their legitimacy by emailing network.integrity@qnet.net. once when I was almost scammed like this, I sent them an email, and they helped me confirm that I was about to be scammed because those trying to initiate me into it were not registered Independent Reps. Even such reps are not company staff but people who only buy and sell from them. They will do the same for you too.
