Hello Keni,

Thanks for your prompt response.

Please, during your application, how did you treat this part of the application:

I understand that payment is by credit card. That after they must have received the application, they will respond via mail with my reference number and requesting me to make payment by filling my credit card details in a fax payment form to be sent to me then. So, am I required to fill the credit card details now in this application stage?

Also, kindly share with us, how long did it take you from application till today you received the ECA.

Thanks and kind regards.

I filled my credit card details in d application form,I didn't hear from them again till I got a debit alert 2weeks after submission,my reference no was sent shortly after the debit...waiting on unilag now.

That too.. The important thing is d issuing place having the license. Even Amadioha with a license can issue a couple a marriage certificate.
If not, go to any certificate - issuing court, it must not be Ikoyi Registry.

Lol @ Amadioha,point noted tho

Please are you saying one can use the certificate issues by Catholic church as legal evidence of marriage for this immigration purpose?

We just commenced the registry process so if it is the same we can as well save our money.
Someone some pages back used a certificate from the mosque and got ppr..wish I can remember the moniker

Hello bestdiddy,

I attached my degree result to the email i sent them (containing the application form, intl ppt, my degre and othee relevant docs)
If the school is sending ur degree result den u may not need to worry, however attaching a soft copy to ur application doesnt cost anything so i tink u shuld still so dt.
As per the proper seal stuff, the school already knw how they package transcripts. Usually the envelope is sealed, stamped and signed across the seal before dispatch.
Just ensure you give them proper details of who to address to.
Hi,what of in the case they are sending the transcript by email as ICES requests, what happens to all the seal, stamp and stuff?

My CRS was 408 before Nomination and 1008 Post Nomination.

Other conditions to be are similar to the FSW program requirements - POF, Work Experience reference letters, Statement of intent to reside in Ontario etc. Kindly check the application guide via the link below for the full information.

Will get funding. Paying just my first year school fees. On any case, this is what I love to do. For TEF, make sure you get at least a B2.

Oh I see, nice one then. For the TEF, On d CRS tool, the grade are in numbers, from about a 100 to 800 or so,just want to know what d ideal score should be for simulation purposes, also where I can get materials for practice

My brothers and my sisters, back from BC Abuja. My score was upgraded from 6.5 to 8.0. thank you plenty for everyone that answered and contributed. So Abuja people won't inform you of your EOR outcome. Just go collect the result. EOR took 8weeks.

Good evening all, congrats to all ITA and and PPR recipients.
I have a little bit of an issue, I am trying to pay for ielts, after using the generated account number, I can't seem to find standard chartered bank on the bank list, I don't know what I am doing wrong, please help!

That's strange, all the banks should be listed on the drop down menu, even some strange microfinance banks are listed, not to talk of std chartered, pls check again.

Either these two sentences in these photos contradict each other or I am misinterpreting them. Could someone better explain them for me? Please and thanks in advance.

If I may respond,it doesn't contradict, remember ITA means invitation to apply. So its when u submit all required docs(medicals,PCC,ref letters,POF et all)and receive AOR,then u have applied. Based on the above, pls read what u posted again....

I want to believe u got a mail. Whatever number you're seeing now is your personal reference/identification number like u rightly said.
The account number is not written out expressly. It is to be formulated using some digits representing the city you want to write the exam, some more digits representing the month of exam and the rest digits representing some number from your international passport. So even if me and you are writing same city, same month, we cannot have same international passport number.
Hope you get now. Read the mail u received well and you'll grab it

it worked!! Chei I just couldn't understand how everyone can have a unique account no for thesame beneficiary. Thanks for patiently putting me through

Read the same place you got this information thoroughly, you will see how to formulate your account number.
Take note: your account number is unique. It's different from the account number someone else will use. Only u can use ur account number.

Thanks a lot,but I thought that was my personal identification number? Pls do you mean that's the account I will do a transfer to in standard chartered, pls forgive me too many questions, I'm confused

What I mean is, when the audio is playing and saying the descriptions that are not THE EXACT words in your question booklet, write down what the audio is saying in your question booklet.
When you get the 10 mins to transfer your answers to your answer sheet, look at what you wrote down and MATCH it with the words or sentences given. E.g. The audio could say:

"The children find the class quite dull" - write this down quickly and move on to the next question.

Later when you return to transfer your answers, the question/options to choose from the section could look like this:

"Kids find it boring" - this is the answer you will choose.

Does this make sense?

Oh now I get it...Thanks a lot

So I haven't really written how far with me coz work and pikins had person hand full. My 1st attempt of IELTS last month was 7.5 in Listening and I knew I had to register again plus WES decided to sit on both my degree and Oga's own. Anyway, I took the 14th October test in Abuja....those who took it that day knew what we went through with regards getting everything to work and we left the venue at almost 3pm.
My results today:
Listening - 9
Reading - 8
Writing - 7.5
Speaking - 8.5

Overall band 8.5. Just glad I'm done with British council grin. And I'm very grateful to God.

Advice for folks taking tomorrow, especially for Listening, discover what sections you fail most. For me was the Matching and Maps. I practiced them like forever. I developed a strategy for matching because I realized that while you are struggling to keep up with the audio, you are struggling to read the options and also decide what fits. 3 things at a time! So what I did was write out everything the audio was saying for each question and move on. [b]Later I came back and read what I wrote and matched it with the option[/bs given.
For maps, I traced my pencil on the paper as the audio played and stopped where it stopped.
For Soeaking, I have already posted what I used, For writing, I used pen not pencil and before I started I drafted a mini flow and gathered my thoughts on my answer sheet, took me 10 mins but after that, I started writing and never stopped till I was done. And still had 10 mins to count my words. Above all, God was involved. Good luck to everyone tomorrow.

Thanks for this, already practicing it,I just wanted to ask how much time do we really have to read what u wrote down and also tick d correct answers, cos while using YouTube, the page flips and that's it,u can't go back to it.

Please let me know how this goes. I also have a 17years old brother I would love to add given that our parents are late. Just skeptical to add cos I didn't legally adopt him and it's too late to do that now. Although I called their contact center a while back and was told I could not add him. Although the agent was not too sure. I was think of sending a mail to my local visa office to ask if I can include him. Not know if that is a good idea though given the way almighty LVO dey behave

Was hoping u would see this new update, glad u have. I think u should call them again since this is a recent development. Wish u luck

If u are on a temporary visa like most students do or an approved asylee, each day u spent in Canada counts as half a day toward the required days before u can apply for citizenship. I. e ur two years is one toward that. By the time ur PR is approved u are almost qualified to apply to become a Canadian.

Oh true,it says Temporary visa....thanks elfmann.
What about PR holders, how long do u need to stay on a continuous basis before we qualify for citizenship,I have an idea but I want to reconfirm(all in a bid to convince oga)

Just keep trying. I no it's not easy convincing men that are not so into abroad relocation things. Let him understand that whether he's accompanying or not,

1) he still has to do medical and PCC.
2) you still have to show proof of funds for the whole family
3) and for medicals and PCC the whole family have to get international passport if they don't have one already.

So the only cost you're saving is application fee and RPRF.

So really there's no point removing a spouse from one's application and facing another troubles few years later when u now decide to bring them in.

Thanks for this analysis, will keep trying,I appreciate ur response

Why not apply for both of you to go and then he can use the PR as visiting visa for the next 5 years. It is just that he wont be able to renew but he might also have changed his mind during the time. You can claim points from him since he is willing to put in the work and the cost is almost the same.

Thanks, will keep trying, just wanted to know what happens in d event he still doesn't agree. Thanks I appreciate your response a lot
