We are racing towards the Great event known as The RAPTURE of the Church.

So, after 3 failed attempts to go long on gold, I changed my approach towards the asset. I think it's time to short. 1770 in sight.

I also found something interesting on GJ too. The pair is currently trading inside a psychological resistance level and in H4 is what looks like a change of character. Maybe it's equally time to short but I'd love to see how the week closes.

In my building, there are four flats which I share with 2 ladies and a guy. So this morning, while I was engaging in some outdoor chore in the compound, one of my flate mate (the guy) came out smoking his stuffs.

Since we're all very cool, we began gisting and I enjoyed his company. Along our conversation, this dude offered me a wrap of his weeed. I declined, saying that I don't smoke at all.

The guy immediately responded that yeah he has observed that. But then, I should try puffing small. That I really don't know what I am missing from not puffing weeed. According to him, the feeling is out of this world. LoL I was just looking at him.

He ended his persuasive talk by saying that he wish one day I'll try smoking it. I was like, no probs, until then.

Thing is, I don't feel weeed at all. I don't even fancy getting high or some of this sh**t. During my Uni days, I attempted puffing weeed on several occasions and nothing happened to me. No highness, no special feeling, just some awkward taste of smoke and grass in my mouth. Since then, it's a no no!

Religion / Re: What Does "The Wages Of Sin Is Death" Really Means by kumulus(m): 9:48am On Jan 02, 2022
The result or outcome for deviating from what's true, not following instructions/commandments, not obeying the voice of Truth for whatsoever reason (usually "fear" ) is a loss (death) of the potentials/glory inherent in doing otherwise. If the individual instead chooses to believe or have faith in upholding and following what's true, he shall have life in abundance.

The language used to teach maths is not the problem, but understanding, remembering, and knowing how to implementing its endless laws. If not (of course, every topic has its rules), you won't find the subject difficult. Using local languages won't simply it.

Subjects are difficult to understand because the students first have to understand the language of teaching before they are able to digest what's being taught.

I'll share my secondary school experience with you; as a science student (not that other type tongue) I understood NOTHING in Chemistry. I always wondered how the other kids who got good grades in the subject did it, I think this went on for the first two years is senior high. Until God sent me a savior in a man called O.J (real name), our first class with him was on chemical reactions. He explained with very simple ideas we all could identify with (It's Basira's pot of stew and how it's made), everyone (not exaggerating at all) in class understood vividly. Till tomorrow I'm sure I still can answer questions on hydrocarbons as extensive as the topic is because of the way this Ekiti man taught us a little over a decade ago, everytime there seems to be a grey area O.J explains in yoruba or pidgin to make things clear. Arguably one of the best teachers that ever taught me.

Language is one such master key, it unlocks a wealth of genius our ancestors left deposited within us.

Where are the textbooks and other teaching resources to teach maths in local languages?
These things have to be in place and certified worthy first before we can start talking about the teaching part. And yeah, teachers have to be trained for that too!

These lazy professors should be championing such research and publications, but they prefer seating in their offices to collect salary, sell textbooks and demand money from ASUU.

These silly professors can't even be innovative with teaching maths with English the way they were taught! But this one is here clamouring for what's even more difficult.

You'll be surprised at the level of understanding students would get if you could simply use local case studies as examples during lectures, but they'll rather recycle questions found in foreign materials, questions you can't even relate with because you're unfamiliar with the terms and words used.

One could go on and on, but the bottom line is that this man isn't serious yet.

Of course, the hardest part is always the "starting"..... that it's hard doesn't mean it's unattainable.

i dont agree,we have so many tribes to even start that. alot of confusion will happen. There are states with morethan 59 ethnic groups..English Language moderates alot of things in Nigeria.. National assemblies for instance, which tribe will be spoken there? no one will agree to speak others tribe, even if he agrees,he cant understand. the same thing will happen if we are taught in our tribes. There are some groups will less popularity and can hardly understand the majority tribes

They'll employ translators, that's the proper thing to do. Atleast funds that are easily looted through silly projects can be channeled towards creating employment for language and communication professionals.

Thank God you aren't a girl. This is how some girls develop feminism or stray into the hands of a deceptive lover outside home and I don't blame them. Theyre naturally unable to endure hardship for long. Yet some still won't respect those who can cus he's not looking rich. Myopic gender!

Firstly I salute your perseverance to still keep your sanity at this stage of the ordeal. It's clear you're going through psycho-emotional trauma. I understand the trauma really well cus I went through it too. I had to spend the day out and come back at dead night for a couple of days

Do you work? Perhaps you could get a roommate and share the rent even if it's a face-to-face apartment, it's not about big boy now, it's about not losing your mind and focus. That's your best option. On a second thought, if you have a relative or friend where you can lay your head at nights, reach out to them. If you're in school, stay put in the hostel and come home only when necessary.

But truth be told, you really need a job of you're not in school. God help you bro!

Nothing to thank God for in this, you have no idea what it feels like to live like/as an IDP in your own immediate family home. Situations like OP's make you understand why it is said that home is not a place. OP is lucky he's aware of what's really going on, unfortunately it can be hard if not impossible to make them see the harm they're causing now until it's too late. They literally would have introduced chaos in your mind, hence making it difficult to out your mind to optimal use.

To the OP, be prepared things won't ease up easily even if you left home now (you really need to tho) because your mind has undergone years of negative programming. By now you must have developed very poor habits from the coping mechanisms you employed over the years in order to survive living with them.

Please GET OUT NOW!!!

.........and thereafter, one good and loving thought at a time, break through the concrete caste about you (your soul), get out of the wicked and self-destructing mindset!

I pray you speedily find peace in your mind.
Romance / Re: Should I Ask Her For A Relationship Or Maintain Our Friendship. Pls Help! by kumulus(m): 9:42am On Dec 27, 2021

Happy Boxing Day Nairalanders. Please I need advice on this matter.

It was on a good evening... Abt 4 months ago. I went out to get a bag of pure water, but the woman that sells around my street has closed so I went to the next street.

I saw this beautiful creature, light skinned, slim and pretty girl. Although she narrowly escaped albino. Her hair is naturally dark, she's very light skinned like Regina Daniel. BUT if one observe her very well and look at her eyes one would tell she's an albino because her eyes are always swinging and dangling.
Immediately I saw her, as a sharp guy I approached her, I flattered her and she smiled and gave me her number.

NL's, I have been living in my area for almost 2 years now. I don't know this babe stays down my street. She live with parents, I was so surprise when she showed me their house. Well, since then we've been chatting and calling each other.

She's a good and happy girl, she has never directly or indirectly ask me for money, she has a great sense of humor. She enjoys my company. She's 23yrs old an igbo girl. I know alot of guys would be attracted to her beauty but I doubt if she has a boyfriend. For her to be living down my street and even my guys haven't seen her mehn! She's well reserve.

The guys in my hood, I don't know maybe the girls that broke their heart made use of Thor sledge hammer (in Avengers movie) to break it. These guyz are hardcore red pillars.

Yesterday was the First day she visited me. she brought food for me, she saw I and my guys butchering our chicken, she also assisted us in preparing egusi soup. When she left. My guyz was like where did I see this beautiful fish....Before I could even narrate to them, they were already asking if I don lash her. I said No. Omo!! They almost pick up a Physical fight with me saying "why I neva lash her nw". Honestly she's different from other girls. If na before...I for don lash her since nw.

They were also surprised that she live down our street. This babe is so reserved and well mannered. I don't mind, I would like to marry this babe. I have never felt this way for any girl in a very long time.

NL's I don't know if I should ask her out or maintain the friendship.
