For the low balance i can testify that truly my sponsor had a low balance so i wasnt much surprised when i was delayed based on finances. Also we didnt pay the first year tuition. Yeah that was something i wanted clarification on cause i knew i had tackle all of these so i was perplexed to see it in my notes thats why i wanted your insights. Thanks and all the best in our applications jnyuwa02: |

The reason why i am jabbing about this error is that, my intended course is related to my job and previous undergraduate program. I did B.Ed(management) and i am going for educational administration and leadership. Also i am a teacher so i cant just understand how purpose of visit will appear in my gcms notes. mcobex: |

bbclue: But on my refusal letter they only ticked insufficient funds and about the third point under its label it says "entered in error". Thats my confusion |

Good evening my fellow comrades Please i have an issue and i need your insight The application was delayed earlier based on finances alone and then the gcms notes arrived not long ago. Now the first and fourth notes in the gcms notes talks about why the application was refused based on the finances. Now the source of confusion is the third comments made in the notes which talks about purpose of visit and travel history which was not ticked when the application was refused. Again under the label of that third note it reads "Entered in Error". We really cant fathom the notes thats why i seek your earnest insight. Thanks for your time |

So sad to hear about this. I was really rooting for you because of the faith you showed about your application but don't worry too much cos you can overcome this. As usual order your gcms notes and lets dissect this. Stay bless bbbclue: |

Austinpee4: Thanks for this clarification. My friend got scared cause he thought it would amount to misrepresentation. |

Please on the issue of misrepresentation, what if the applicant indicated on CIC form that he/she has been refused a visa before but do not mention the number of times of refusal(eg.4 times) can that amount to misrepresentation? |

Abdon01:I am not a guru but I think you SOP lack some key points and that could be why the VO was not convinced that you will return apart from insufficient funds issues. First of all you didn't tell the VO why you choose the program. Yes you might have gained a first class in mathematics but you should let the VO know why you are in the mathematics field and why you chose Canada-at this point you mention your funding offer as one of the factors. Again you didn't tell what you will gain from the Msc program which will boost your career opportunities back in Nigeria-you must know that you should convince the VO that you are just a student who will return home after your studies and not a potential immigrant. Also, you should address what you expect from the Msc program itself. Lastly no need to bring up the benefits of NYSC cause I think the VOs already know. My 2 cents tho. Best of luck in your reapplication. 2 Likes |
