Smiling class. We did not see Jona with ummuna in otueke, but he is already in London. Going abroad looks like going to heaven for most ppl regardless of how rich or poor they are. Some mentality we have! |

We ve got to rethink this burn burn culture. We burn armed robbers in jungle justice. We burn gas resources in gas flaring We burn smuggled poultry products and rice Yet we are ravaged by poverty. How come we don't get to know the final treatment given to hard drugs, Igbo, coke etc intercepted from smugglers at the airports and on the roads? It is reasonable to burn smuggled goods if and only if they are expired drugs and food items that would naturally endanger the consumers like DOra did in the good old days of nafdac. Even if these smuggled textile products cost just N100, it has impacted negatively on the economy ab initio abi did the importers not access forex locally for the transactions with the additional pressure of such on our weakened value of the naira against the dollar? There is need to rethink this burn burn thing as it has yet again proven not to be having the desired effect of deterrence. |

Radio Biafra is making some serious sense, touching some serious hot spots so to speak. Niger Delta is an aberration. It was never there in time immemorial. Some old map shows some part of the current Gulf of Guinea as Bight of Biafra; that means Biafra has always been known to exist and that it predates Nigeria of 1914. Britain nor try at all. How can you just come to a place and you change "a people's name" and give them a new name for your convenience without caring about their ideological, cultural, language and ancestral divides? http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/64296/Bight-of-Biafra 7 Likes 1 Share |

martyns303: You can and can as well not be a witness and the whistle blower at d same time. In $20billion NNPC issue, SLS was the whistle blower; staff operators in NPDC, CBN, NNPC, etc could testify as witnesses to the shady deals that went on there. It is refreshing to know however, that out of the 46 hurriedly passes bills, only 1, ie nos 41 relates to the legislators 7 Likes |

I do not support the notion that Jagaban of Africa should be "worshipped" like juju but for crying out loud, the man have proven time and again that he is not called the Lion of Bourdillion for nothing. If Buhari is backing Tinubu's choice, APC should let it be because at the end of the day, any democratic electioneering process would still rubber stamp Asiwaju's choice. Ambode Lagos guber primary elections is a serious case in point. |

chuna1985: In my opinion, it has never favored us because we deal with them as servants to masters. The moment we make meaningful demands, Britain can come out clear to say YES or NO. I wonder why French colonies benefits more from France that British colonies in Africa benefit less from Britain;but I dont think same goes for their colonies in oyibo land. Just my opinion though, well knowledgeable gurus can shed more light on this. |

Cameron asked him to come with a wish list? Even if nothing comes free from the West, advising PMB to come with a wish list of what he wants the west to collabo with Nigeria on is good to hear. Industrialization and gainful bilateral and trade exchanges should be pursued. 10 Likes |
