Samuel Omotoso, member, Ekiti State House of Assembly, has told the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC that a two-storey commercial building located at Okesa Market and sealed by the Commission, belongs to him.

Agents of the anti-graft agency had sealed off a number of buildings in Ekiti State purportedly belonging to ex-Governor Ayo Fayose.

The prosecution on Monday opened its case before a Federal High Court Lagos in the criminal trial of immediate past Governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose, charged with N6.9 billion fraud.

Fayose was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Oct. 22 alongside his company Spotless Investment Ltd on 11 counts.

Attempts by some persons suspected to be armed robbers to attack some commercial banks in Lagere Area of Ile-Ife, Osun State, was, on Monday, foiled by some eagle-eyed residents of the area.
