FEBRUARY ROLL CALL FOR TEAM MAY.

Hello teamies! How are we all doing? Please let's start talking and chatting with each other because that is the main purpose of this group and our seniors have been excellent in helping out with some concerns and advice which I know most if not all of us appreciates.

I will lead by example by providing Little one's gender and I'll like us to follow suit. I'll try as much as possible to always update our roll call till the end of every successful birth because the Lord has perfected all that concerns us, He will surely see us through alive and healthy.

I hope we have started shopping for baby's things(I have and almost done)? Please let's endeavor to do so before we become heavier which would then become harder to do. For those who are going through financial challenge, may Almighty God miraculously surprise you beyond your expectations and He will make things easy for and on us.

Furthermore, please let's take our antenatal drugs seriously and also eat healthy like eating fruits no matter how little it is.

Lastly, God Almighty that has brought us this far will see us through. None among us shall die nor have a still birth. We shall carry to term and people shall rejoice with us very soon in Jesus name.

Yes i'm in lagos. The Matron informed me that it is only available for free in Somolu local govt for now so she directed me to one OLOJA health centre on akinsola str sungass. I've been there to make enquiry and was told it's true, they said they give will give on mondays, tuesdays and thursdays,they even asked me to come for it yesterday being thursday but couldn't make it. I plan to go next thursday God willing

In other news we went for our 14wks immunization today, 3injections at once...phewww. They've been cranky ever since but we're coping. I was so happy today when the matron advised that I can now get the 2nd dose of our rota at the health centre free, waoww I'm saving about 17k but I didn't know when I went to break this news to dh instead of collecting the money for my own keeps ...I don Bleep up sha

I thank God for the arrival of my little princess on the 6th of December, 2017.
This was my second missionary journey. I had low energy levels, fatigue, back ache, waist pain, vaginal itching, pelvic pains
etc, unlike my first which went smoothly and I was full of life.
2 weeks before I gave birth, the pelvic pain became worse, especially at night. At daytimes, i could barely walk without pains. But I bore all till my next anc appointment which was on Tuesday 5th of Dec.
When i went in to see my doctor, i was in serious pains. The pelvic pain could be likened to when one was screwing on a nail; it was like my baby was trying to force her way through the birth canal. My doctor examined me and the look i saw on his face said it all - i was seriously contracting but not dilating. I knew that it meant another cs because I had my first daughter at 40wks+ through emergency cs after laboring for over 20hrs, due to the same reason. I had hoped for a vbac. I was 37wks+ gone. He told me my baby was term and ready to come out, that he was admitting me immediately and booking me for an elective cs the following day, that there was no point waiting inorder not to rupture my uterus, that I should call my husband to meet me at the hospital. But I begged him to let me go home and discuss with my husband first, that I'll call to tell him my decision. He told me I might fall into labor that night and it might become an emergency c-section. That evening, I called to tell him I had agreed to the elective cs. I barely made it through that night due to excruciating pelvic pains. The next day, my husband and I got to the hospital at 9:30am and my princess was brought out at 10:05am. She was checked and certified in perfect health, to the glory of God. Baby, mummy and daddy are all doing great.
I thank God for blessing my family with another beautiful princess. May His name be praised forever.
