Wow! Fantastic ielts scores. Congrats. If you have at least one year experience and ECA, you both should be fine since you’ve simulated your scores.

ChiefVal:
Hello House,
My husband and I have got our IELTS results
Me the PA (f,25) - LRWS - 9, 9, 7.5, 8
Him (M, 31) - LRWS - 5.5, 9, 7, 7.5
I just want to confirm if we are okay to go into the pool like this. It’s too late to request a remark.
Simulated the scores already and it will add just 2 points if he has 7.5 in Listening.
But I just need to be sure it won’t make our profile invalid or unqualified.
Thanks

But you saw 8-10 roles before that now. Actually there’s no minimum number of roles, you can use just 3 roles in your NOC first, and when the VO refuses you for insufficient number of duties performed in your NOC, you can then increase it smiley

We used to have a NOC guru here @newmum and that was her advice for number of duties. I wouldn’t advice anything below 5 tho if you are sure all 5 duties fit the NOC perfectly. But you can do as you please, it’s your application smiley

Silversurfer1:

10-15 roles ke? Suppose you don't have that many roles nko? This is the first time I'm reading the minimum number of roles you need oh

No one has time to start searching for a NOC for your application. That’s your responsibility. Find your NOC and then ask here to confirm if it’s the right one. Place your duties side by side with your chosen NOC, then we can help you confirm or suggest alternative NOCs, the final decision is yours though. Also three roles in a NOC is insufficient, make it 8-10 roles or 10-15 roles.

Industrialist:
Please I need help with my NOC.

My job description is as follows:

I make recommendations to the federal government in terms of relief items after a disaster might have occurred in a community in order for their distress to be ameliorated.
I receive Nigerian citizens that have either been deported or urgently evacuated from foreign countries reuniting them with their families here.
I do assessments of disaster scenes though before making the recommendations.

I thank you in anticipation.

What’s the source of this special calculation? Is there a special CIC calculation for work experience? Please share it here.

May 23rd to April 23rd is one year. May 1st to July 1st is two months. Not everyone resigns on the 30th. Are you post-AOR? If you’ve ordered gcms, check your work experience notes and see how it’s calculated, it’s calculated normally. If you work from March 4 to May 22, officer would write 1 year 3 months of work experience.

akanniade10:

Many people have used nysc as pry noc successfully BUT May 23rd to April 23rd is not one year. Packaging is key, let the person read testimonies of those that have done the same and see how they packaged it.

May 1st - June 1st is not 2Months
May 1st - June 30th is 2Months.

Let’s all be guided.

FSW O: Federal Skilled Worker Outland Applicant (not inland or CEC). It has nothing to do with NOC

OTemi:

Thanks for the information. You wrote FSW O applicant, you mean a job under NOC O? The job is under NOC A ( secondary school teacher). Thanks

As long as your company exists and you actually worked there, CIC would always find a way to verify, don’t panic. People have gotten PPR using jobs in the village without online presence.

I don’t know of Deloitte but digital interviews are Skype interviews alternatively scheduled when the applicant is not able to be physically present for the in-person interview. It’s basically a normal interview but via Skype or other digital video platforms the company uses. Not all companies allow this. If you’re a very valuable applicant, they just might make the provision.

gginika:
Good morning guys, please this is for those that have secured employments in Canada. What's does the digital interview entail. I know this differ from company to company but I'd like to hear your experience if you dont mind sharing. A friend of mine was able to secure a digital interview with deliotte. Does anyone have any experience with the company. Biko help a sister in need. Thank you.

Yes add an LOE and include him in your application this time.

Jcu322:
Hello Fam . I hope to get your opinion on something heavy on my mind. A couple of years ago I applied for a Canadian visiting visa but it was rejected. However I did not include the name of my brother as a family member on the form as he was estranged and also seeking asylum there. However in the next application I would be including his name. My question is what are the possible repercussions for this, do I need to write an LOE to explain it?
I'm new here and I must say it's been quite insightful and I applaud everyone's willingness to help. I've evaluated my credentials and awaiting IELTS result so fingers crossed.

Sis you finish work here o. This is one of the most elaborate PPR stories I’ve read. Thanks so much for sharing and congratulations. I’m so happy for you. You’re such a good and funny writer. Definitely we have to meet, I shared a connection with you when you first commented on my poem and reading yours now, chai, take kiss kiss

Lmao! I tell you when I wrote that “prepare your mind for a long wait” post, I wasn’t prepared. See me na, CIC want to do me strong thing. Sighs. I’ve added you to the list of those I must meet when we settle in Maple land. You score 10/10

I wish you and your husband all the best in your landing and settlement in Canada.

Title: Probably the Longest and Most Uneventful PPR Story Ever

[b]3 Months+ POST AOR

It's 30th of April 2019 and I'm dancing round my house and singing "He has done for me, He has done for me..." if you have plenty education and you're shaking your head right now and saying "Nigerians!" Don't worry as long as you're on this journey, you'll surprise yourself.

Did I tell you one of my clients offered to process a German visa for me along with work during this process? I just remembered Ladymarshalls debate and told him "I'll think about it"...I'm still thinking about it smiley
@Ladymarshall we have to meet!

Amazing free style poem. @bold cracked me up so bad grin grin cheesy

I’m in that maturity stage now o. The best I can do is keep waiting and keep busy. My thoughts are still with CIC tho

Villagegirl:
The Poem...( can't come and waste)

By the way I became a free verse poet during the wait...it's part of the story so enjoy!

You go on Nairaland, it's another PPR news and the celebrant got it in two months. Wow! You believe that's exactly how your story would play out. You've seen the signs. You dreamt about the VO saying "highly favoured one receive your PPR". You've sown a mighty seed to reduce the timeline, the guest pastor specifically called you out in church and told you "that thing you're looking for, God will do it in less than one month". You've made sure to tap and claim all short timelines on Nairaland. You've even bought an expensive plot of land at the beginning of the thread in I'll Announce my PPR in this Thread Estate.

You're more mature and spend your time doing more productive tasks rather than trying to decode IRCC.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by ladymarshall: 4:54pm On Sep 28, 2019
It’s possible. Usually local VOs are usually always based on PA residence. But there was an Indian guy in my group based in Dubai whose VO was London (transferred from Sydney). There was also a moniker here based in UK but because of the complication of his case had to travel from there to Accra for interview. Anything is possible with CIC. They can go to any extent to confirm bg checks in complicated cases.

Eraytee:
Ok well understood, but is it possible to also get transferred to AVO when you are not based in Nigeria but your work experience was claimed from naija? am just thinking of what if an interview is required for such person grin, will you travel from lets say US to attend interview in Accra? that one go strong small grin

He/she probably forgot. I don’t think anyone would deliberately withhold that info if he/she knows it would lead to a 5 year ban. This application is so stressful, no PA would deliberately spoil it. I mistakenly omitted a trip in my travel history and it was right there stamped in my passport staring me in the face, how I missed it during AOR, I can’t understand. Hopefully he/she has raised a CSE after all the scolding and warning here grin

LeFreakSoChic:

Can i just ask you a question. Why did you not mention it? It is a simple question. Have you ever been denied a VISA before. ? Some times human beings are just the architect of their own misfortune..
