[b]Its PPR

To all those at different stages of this process, the truth is it’s not easy but please don’t lose sight of the end goal. I read every page in part 5, 6 and 7. By part 8 I couldn’t keep up any longer as I had already submitted. I learnt all I know about this process from this thread by reading the famous page one and asking questions when I needed clarification. I met a lot of helpful people here and I can remember how motivated I felt reading PPR gist. I told myself that I would also give back to this thread when I got mine. Sorry it’s coming a bit late but I just couldn’t type anything till it came. Thank you all and I pray you all get it.

2-3 weeks/Within a month at most. It’s unusual for it to take more than a month except there’s some miscommunication with VFS or some life changing updates from your end. You will get an email from VFS that passport is ready for pickup

junewandra:
Pls seniors, what is the average processing time from PPR to COPR and how will I know COPR is ready for pick up?

Yes. Withdraw the application or revoke the GC key. Then create a new one.

Mhydhe:
Hello House .
How do i delete a profile on Cic website? It is only showing withdraw application? Is it as good as deleted cus i filled the SINP Eoi and in there , i claimed not to have an EE profile since i want to change my Occupation in Demand.
Assistant will really be needed.
Thanks

If you’re targeting PNP, it’s a good idea to select all provinces so you can be nominated by any.

DOMHG:
Greetings All,
Quick question please. On the EE profile, the section where you have to choose province of interest.
Is it okay to select more than one province? Does it have any implication?

I don’t know of fast but SINP recently expanded the nocs required for their provinces. If your NOC is not in their excluded list, you can apply for their PNP, although it’s very competitive, there are lots of 68-70’s plus even though 60 is the cut off. Ontario also releases eligible NOCs from time to time for NOI submission. Read more on their websites.

Djponpin1:
Please which of the province is good to contact for fast nomination thanks.

Email Ralph or raise CSE

RegalB:
Please is there any way of ascertaining visa offices (AVO, OVO...) from 'Ready for Visa' (PPR) emails?

Your response will be very much appreciated.

Have you raise gcms? If no, do that. The wait is not easy but what can we do? Stay hopeful
Bogini:
AOR March 9.
6 months passed.
Sent a message to Ottawa, raised CSE and mailed Ralph.
Only the message to Ottawa was responded to, saying our application is on the queue, and they can't provide any other information.

This stage, is the real test.
May God help us all

It's coming! I can smell it so close. Start typing your PPR story. Stay hopeful
Bogini:
I enjoyed every bit of your story. I can relate. The way IELTS was swift for me, and when I saw that VO was Ottawa, I was just happy that everything will be done in a maximum of 3 months.... It's been over 6 months now, still waiting.
We must learn this patience by force, most importantly, to trust more in God.

Congratulations on your PPR. Can't wait to be like you soon

Please I need anyone that can offer insight on how best to proceed.

Early this morning we received an email for medical for my mum. She applied for PR on the Parent Sponsorship class. The medical form said she has 30 days to complete medical.

Today also, we received another email saying her VISA is ready and she should send her passport, medical results and police certificate within 15 days from today.

We have been calling all the two clinics that do the medical and also emailed a request for an appointment but the VI one says they are only booking in October. IOM is yet to respond, although I just sent the email like an hour ago.

Please my people, my mama want come Canada ooo and its like she won the lottery, please how can we get a medical appointment with 1- 2 weeks. Any suggestions?

Is it normal to receive request for VISA and medical the same day. I did my immigration over a decade ago so I don't know the current system.

Ok. I get you. I just felt that your posts assumed people were forging employment just because they were paid by cash, which is wrong. Some people forge employment and ask employers to deposit into their bank account without working a single day at the company. Forgery can go both ways and even bank statements can't stop it. That is why VOs conduct BG checks at their discretion. I was also wondering why you wondered why employers pay their workers in cash when neither you nor I are the employers. We have no control over that. People post-AOR come here to read up and calm their minds so when you make such assumptions wiithout proof, it triggers applicants like me who were paid by cash and are awaiting PPR. Let's be careful of our choice of words so it doesn't cause unnecessary panic.

My comments were nothing personal to you both. I especially appreciate Tina26 helpful responses to questions. Peace. And speedy PPR to us.

Prettiepearlz:

I am not sure you read from the beginning before quoting me undecided, Sometimes we need to understand the dynamics of the conversation before making insinuations Lady. We were talking about fraudulent people blocking ways for genuine people because the lady in question said she called a cic agent and the guy was yarning opata that she can’t use it blah blah blah. I am not sure anyone is advocating for it to be stopped, neither did you see it in my post that I am clamoring for an end to cash payment reference letter undecided, I only responded to Tina26 when she quoted my response (which i wondered why) to the lady who felt she couldn't use her job because she was paid in cash to the link with people who got PPR with cash payment reference letter. And I wondered why employees pay their workers in cash, you need not respond because it can also be seen as a rhetorical question that doesn't need response or choose to explain why they do in case the good Lord touched your heart to respond and not being overly defensive and making unnecessary insinuations. I don't appreciate that Lady and I haven’t said PPR shouldn’t be given to such people after all they have the experience. Peace

You're Feb AOR? Didn't you update CIC of your move to Canada post-AOR for work? Call CIC to ask what to do. You can also email your VO. Also, read the instructions in the biometric letter of your wife, it will indicate where you should go for it within Canada.

mikel88:
Please help!!! I received a biometric request letter after 7months of AOR and I am already in Canada on work permit since March, how will I complete the biometric ? Also my wife who is the primary applicant and has been in Canada for 4years also got a biometric request letter despite being an inland applicant we applied under CEC stream. I don’t understand these IRCC people anymore please help.

Yes do @ bold
psalmizt:

Your assessment is almost spot on but for the number of years for the project analyst role. To further clarify, I have 3 different uploads for the same NOC. Two of these are from the same organisation while the 3rd (Project Analyst) is from a different one. The same reference letter had to be uploaded twice so that I could attach the relevant supporting documents. The reason for this is because there was 4year gap in between my first and second stint in the same organisation.

What the 4years computation tells me is that they accepted the 1st two uploads and so i am wondering why the analyst only wrote about two uploads instead of 3. Truth be told, I suspected this would happen and I actually had a best and worst case scenario. 70 was my best case and 68 my worst case. Seeing 72 was awesome.

Do you advise that I respond with an LOE elaborating further on some of the duties written by HR and also attach evidence of my passionate plea for HR to include details of my duties or you would rather I chill for them to do their thing?

I apologize that this is a late PPR post. I have been somewhat overwhelmed by so much, but then I am reminded that the blessings of God maketh rich and addeth no sorrow. Also, this thread has been a blessing to me, this is my own small way of adding to the wealth of information here.

While we await our COPR, I cannot but thank God for His loving mercies while still keeping in mind that the task ahead is no walk in the park. God is taking us to our destination as we begin to prepare for our licensure. For regulated professionals, the work for us is real, but carry along your strategic plans, hardwork, tenacity, courage and believe, with your Trust in God. @bold is the wrong attitude to start this process grin grin grin EE requires patience. Write ielts first and evaluate your first degree, then come back. Go to WES website for further details on adding more certs and the additional costs. Age is still on your side. Calm down.
Ezegees:
Goodday Everyone. I really need some enquiries. I urgently need to escape from this country. I’m 24 years old. I want to go with EE. I read that BCs IT program tends to boosts an applicants score. I calculated my CRS score with some imaginary score In IELTS and got 479.

Now my question- I want to apply for the BCs which exam is due for next year March. Should I wait for the exam result before evaluating my results through WES or can I evaluate and add additional certificates later? Is there an additional cost if I evaluate at different times. I really want to hasten the whole process hence I need a clear guide on the best available shortcut.

I want to run this process without an agent to minimize costs. Can I join any active WhatsApp group(08131109313-My number)

PPR IS HERE!!!

LONG, LONG PPR GIST.

LESSONS
This journey taught be patience. Ha! I had a swift IELTS, I thought everything will be like that. For where. I learnt to accept that there are things I can't control, and I should just let them materialize at their time.
I started coaching a few people in IELTS writing and speaking. It's been a bit inconvenient, cos of my work and travel schedule, but it helped take my mind off the wait, and made me feel useful to other people.
Now that the Golden Mail is finally here, I am excited to start this new phase of my life.
Thank you Nairalanders, this group is a gem. And to imagine it is free. God bless you all. It ended in praise for me, it will for all who are waiting too.

Look out for the last 4 pages of the notes. Especially the program assistant R10 comments and the Case processing agent recommendations. Check his/her comments on your work experience: NOC, ref letters, POF and education, Review Required for those might need further action. RR for client info and stat. questions is not a big deal. If you're still confused after all that, share it with us here or pm me.

POTUSUK:
Hi team;

What exactly should I be looking for in a GCMS note? I ask because I ordered for one and on scheming through; everything seems to be in order.

To make matters worse; I contacted them saying it’s been more than 6 months I submitted my application but haven’t heard back (my background check is still pending; medicals passed; no interview). They responded saying: it just takes time for some people but document is in place.

Is this a normal trend? What to look for in a GCMS note that might hint an issue? Suggestions are welcomed on what to do in this instance.
