The Governor Of Borno state,Gov. Kashim Shettima during a meeting with the Governor of IMO state, Gov. Rochas Okorocha have appeal to Igbos to visit top cities of the North to assure them of the safety of their lives and properties in the northern part of the country.NijaBlog reports.

The Governor, who was accompany by Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state, Simon Lalong of plateau state,Abubakar Atiku of Kebbi state and Aminu Bello of Katsina state urges them to visit northern flash points like Kaduna,Jos e.t.c to assure them that their lives and properties are safe.
"We equally invite our brothers from the southeast to
visit some of the northern flash points like Kaduna,
Kano and Jos, and together we can talk to our Igbo
brothers and sisters there to assure them of the safety
of their lives and properties."He said.

Remember NijaBlog have earlier reported of the Governor saying that Nnamdi Kanu and the indigenous people of Biafra,Ipob are of more threat to the security of the nation than Boko-haram.
The Governor, who noted that it was prior to this that he left his state that was recently attacked by boko-haram and 25 people confirmed death to visit Gov. Rochas Okorocha of IMO state alongside other northern governors to broker peace among the various regions of the country.
