I am over 40weeks now and my doctor says my cervix hasn't even dilated at all...Hmmm, I have danced, I still had about 25minutes walk today, my doctor suggested nipple stimulation but the thing painful no be small. He has given me till Monday,that if I no show, na induction be that o and that if induction doesn't work, he is going to do CS. Before now, I don't mind the two options, but they scare the hell out of me now.. I don't know why. I wish my labor starts spontaneously before Monday.

I strongly recommend that you do a swab test or HVS test from a reputable lab and probably see another doctor. Please do not work with 'my mind doesn't want to treat it's. Some.infections can affect your baby's eyes during vaginal delivery, it's better to know if it's something serious and get your self treated. Pele

After marriage, you do not need to swear an affidavit, I repeat you do not need to swear an affidavit once you have your marriage certificate from the registry.. even if you had a church marriage, some churches issues the certificate from the registry and some will require that you do a registry wedding first.
so all you need is a copy of your marriage certificate to show as a proof of your marriage and take it to one of the dailies to publish your change of name.
I was very busy so I used daily independent, I got their contact for change of name through Google and I scanned my certificate to them and paid the amount required for change of name and it was done.
you will need to buy the paper on the day it will be published and make enough copies for formal use.

We are in the same shoes o, although I am 38weeks, mine started around 36weeks. My doc said it is an hormone causing my pelvic to shift as the head of the baby drops in preparation for labor. I use about six pillows to sleep right from second trimester but the pain is still there, just avoid walking too fast, bending, squatting to reduce the pain till you give birth. it is well.

We team June have not started dropping, team July has been oppressing us for here, Abegy you guys should wait till 1st of July jare.

@Lamdec, hp u were able to see ur gynae today. I also had sometin like burns on my skin especially my armpit & they were so painful. I cldnt see my doc cos it wasn't time for my appt wit him, I jus bought Funbact-A & applied on it after cleaning d affected areas wit warm water & purit antispectic & in few days it started healing.

Whatever the case is, pls consult ur doc first. U r healed in Jesus Name.

Thanks everyone for your concern, I really appreciate it. I saw him today and he asked that I continue with skineal but added a drug...loratidine. I also did blood test that shows that I have malaria and throat infection that is why I have been vomiting. the drugs I was given were so much and God knows I hate using drugs but I will tryyyyy so much to complete them. I am so very tired, I am off to bed.Goodnight everyone and thanks for today once again.

I think you should try and go to the Teaching hospital at ado.since ikere is not far from there, I trust they will attend to you better there, it is well with you.

I have been on skineal for a week now. I attached some pictures, the others are in areas I can't post online. I am on my way to see my gynecologist now cos I was so weak yesterday and I was vomiting excessively, with headache sore throat and all...I just pray June come quickly.

Maybe you are reacting to something. Did you change your cream? Where did the rash start? Some weavon/ attachment cause that burnt skin stuff, so you might wanna trace back to the period it started and try to figure out d cause.

I have tried tracing it back all too no avail, I was on my natural hair when it started, I just made braids yesterday, I didn't change cream....I started using my facial soap about two months back and I only stopped for about Three months and the soap is just for my face, I did not buy any new clothing or underwears.....it is so painful that i was crying last night before i could sleep, my husband had no idea what to do and my next appointment is next week tuesday, I cant wait for it to just stop.

Please help me o, I have been having some kind of skin irritations and reactions that looks like I got burnt....my doctor saw it the last time I went for ANC answer gave me skineal to apply and it worked but now I am having it in some other parts of my body, my back, underneath my bre.ast, my shoulders and.it's very uncomfortable, although I have been applying skineal but I have no idea what could be the cause, I was thinking maybe it's the heat....I don't know, please help.

I resulted to google and found out that some babies are intolerant to cow milk because thebody doesnt breakdown cowmilk so it goes directlyto thebreast and thebaby's digestive system is imature for cowmilk hence the discomfort.to reducethe gssiness make sure u burp ur baby after eating as burping reduces the excess gas swallowed during eating and crying.also lie ur baby on his tummy to sleep. U will b verygrateful for that as it also reduces the stomach discomfort to minimum and reduces spitting.nva lie ur babyon his back if he isnot well burped but he can lie on histummy.observe ur baby's every move.it sure means something.

Please do not put your baby on the stomach to sleep, it is very dangerous for the baby, at 3 or 4 weeks, the milestone you are talking about is not enough for the baby to turn its head if he/she is choking, the bedsheet you are using can easily ruffle together around your baby's nose to reduce oxygen, the best way to put the baby to sleep is on their back. You can have a tummy time with your baby while he is awake, it helps in digestion but please do not put your baby to sleep on their tummy, I beg you in God's name. If you are still in doubt, please google for 'safe sleeping position for babies' and please view the images attached to it to understand more of this.

I don't think you should worry about it. I am 27 weeks too and about 3 antenatal visits ago, protein was found in my urine but my bp was fine and my legs were not swollen, my doc gave me a sterile bottle that I should bring my first urine after taking my bath the next day and it tested negative, the following antenatal, my urine tested positive again, he gave me another sterile bottle and asked them to culture my urine cos he wanted to be doubly sure and the results showed 'no growth visibl
e', so he told me that the protein found in my urine might because I have been working all day and my v.agina is not clean, so what I did in the last.antenatal was to use some water to wash up before passing out the urine for test and it came out negative and he was impressed that all doubts has.been cleared.

Ple wear gold(both yellow and white) becos of longevity and durability. What u see on silver are stones(CZ) your silver wedding band will get dull within the first 4ix months of using it, some even less. Well, I dont understand the kind of silver you saw, maybe it was metal painted silver. My wedding ring and my husband's band is pure sterling silver(the highest form of silver) and we have been wearing it for a year and it has never tarnished and by the way i use it to wash, cook, bath, eat and do whatever.

My marriage will be a year next month.....hmmmm, it has been a very wonderful journey. I am writing this with all smiles on my face. We dated for 4years so we kinda got to know a lot about each other before getting married but in all it has been a very beautiful and loving journey.

Our arguments don't last long, we talk about it immediately and we get it settled. A few times we have had arguments that lasted all day, we will strictly ping each other when we are really upset, by the time we both have calm down, we will call and apologize to ourselves.....each one of us always have a part to be blame with.

My husband is such a wonderful man, I am about six months pregnant and he has been the one doing most of the house chores since day one of our pregnancy, he has been very caring and loving and I will choose to marry him over and over and over and over again . When I needed about six pillows to support me while sleeping, my husband choose to sleep on the coach and let me have the bed to myself, he hasn't missed any antenatal checkups......he is usually the only man during our antenatal health talks .

I pray that God who has sustained us from the beginning will keep sustaining us till the end.

Firstly, I will like to say children are different and our schools expect these children to learn the same thing the same way which is wrong. I teach in a full montessori school (some schools thay call themselves montessori are not) and one of our core beliefs is that no two children want to learn the same thing at the same time. So we dont teach them the same subject at a time, each child does different work at at time.

My first suggestion is to evaluate the school, it might be the best for your daughter and not the best for him.
Secondly, for children in my school who are like this, we usually advise the parents to get them evaluated. Your child may have a Learning difficulty or may have a learning difference such as Dyslexia, ADHD etc and the earlier you know the better because it helps you know how to help the child.
This will be my strong recommendation,to get him evaluated.

A lot of parents deny the fact that their child may have a learning difficulty that they manage the child till the child grows and then it is too late to help the child, now that the child is still young, pls get him evaluated and help him from there

Well informed thread I must say and am glad to me here.
I am 6 weeks plus gone by His grace and have been feeling superb till now ( between nausea and spitting ).

Please I want to ask these question:-
1. Can I take not so peppery pepper soup once in a while?
2. Is tom tom good for me now?
3. Frequent visits to the toilet to do the major(poo), is it normal?
4. I have not started ANC, was told by the Doc where I did ultrasound to chill till 8 weeks from now but I should take things slow, does that apply too?

Welcome on board. Well as for me the only thing that stays in my stomach is something peppery, if its not peppery I can't eat and I am over 17weeks gone and my doctor encouraged me to keep eating as long as it stays in my stomach, but as they say pregnancy is different for every woman, so I think you should ask your doctor or wait till other preggy mamas answer you.

I didnt take tom tom, cos I felt it was too concentrated although there is a new bran of tomtom with fruits around that is not so strong as the normal type we know, but I will suggest that you try MENTOS (the blue one that has mint), other mentos were to sugary for me and made me vomited more, I can have one piece of mentos in my mouth for 3hours slowly dissolving it and I wont spit or vomit.

My first scan was 12weeks, but my doctor does a scan each time I go for antenatal so just chill.

For the poo, I hope its not watery and not diarrhea, pls rehydrate your self or take ORS to keep you hydrated and talk to your doctor about it.

Please, avail yourself and learn....a woman who has given birth before CAN produce milk at any time if the breast is stimulated, A woman who has NEVER given birth before CAN produce milk also if stimulated, in fact a woman who doesnt have an UTERUS CAN produce milk if stimulated. A woman who adopts a newborn CAN produce milk for the baby. Please let us set our ignorance aside.

Its good you are coming with 10 people, that is fair enough but dont be surprise if you see about 50people on that day and yes, get ready to prostrate with your friends. Your family members should have some change in their pocket because they will be asked to spray money. All the best.

Hello mamas, I am in my 7 week and I am tired terribly, I couldn't go to work today and I am just at home lying down all day. I treated malaria last week so I am ruling out malaria even though my mouth is bitter. I have been trying to get bread and fish stew down my stomach since morning but it seems like hard work. I beg is this normal, cos the last time I went to see my doctor, he insisted that if its not an emergency case, I should not come until the 12th week before I start ante natal but I hate how I am feeling o, pls help me. I am 7 weeks gone, I have had malaria and serious lower abdominal cramps but my doctor recommended some drugs/injection for the cramps and anti malaria drugs, I am feeling great now only that the kind of Nausea I have eh , I cant stand Stew or meat. This afternoon, I ate just plain white rice and fish ...welll....I pray God grant everyone safe delivery.
